Chapter 33: CH 33: Power Bestowal?
"I still can't believe Magic can do all this," Ororo said, her voice filled with a mix of awe and disbelief.
Ororo looked up at the sky, a perfect replica of the real one, and felt a sense of wonder wash over her. She lay back on the grass, the soft blades tickling her skin.
"You already said that when you first saw your room," Ragnar said, his eyes closed, his voice a low whisper. "Wait a minute, let me focus."
"I mean, who couldn't be shocked if there's a room larger than the RV, and you guys basically got a whole world in a suitcase! Does that make any sense?" Ororo exclaimed, her voice laced with disbelief.
Ororo turned to look at Ragnar, her eyes widened as her expression turned weird seeing what he was doing. "And are you really giving a cow powers?"
"That's magic for you," Ragnar said, his grip tightening on Otis's horn. "And I'm just testing it," he said, checking the reward he had received from the mission.
[Power Bestowal: Bestow 10% of your chosen power to the chosen person or animal]
[Available Powers: Psychic, Shapeshifting, Magic, Soul Power]
[Power Retraction: Take back your bestowed powers from the chosen being]
Ragnar pondered his options. 'Should I give this cow soul power so he could be a Soul Beast?' he thought, shaking his head. Even if Otis turned into a Soul Beast, he couldn't possibly absorb its Soul Ring. A cow Soul Ring getting absorbed by a dragon blood was a recipe for disaster.
'Psychic Abilities is a no go,' Ragnar thought, he didn't want any mind controlling cow in the loose. 'Magic also can't be shared,' he thought, not wanting any cow casting spells without knowing anything.
'Then I hope this can help you talk,' Ragnar thought, choosing to bestow his shapeshifting abilities to Otis.
Ragnar then felt some energy leave his body transferring to Otis before returning to normal.
Otis's eyes flashed with golden light, but he continued grazing on the grass.
"That's it?" Ororo asked, her eyebrows furrowed as she inspected the cow. "Power Bestowal? What power did you give it?" she asked, caressing Otis's head.
"I gave it shapeshifting abilities," Ragnar murmured, using identification on Otis to figure out what had changed.
[Otis: Cow]
Strength: 2
Agility: 2
Spirit: 2
Powers: Shapeshifting
"Hey bud, can you understand me Otis?" Ragnar asked, waving his hand in front of Otis, trying to get his attention. But Otis just continued eating grass. 'This cow should be able to understand me,' Ragnar thought, scratching his head. He saw that Otis's spirit was more than two peak humans combined.
"So what? Is it talking to you now?" Ororo asked, holding back laughter as she saw Ragnar's disappointed face.
"Tsk, Just give it time, maybe this cow will be smarter than you," Ragnar said, standing up from the grass. He smeared the dirt on his hand onto Ororo's clothes.
"I just got these clothes!" Ororo exclaimed, her voice filled with distress as her clothes were a gift from Sicilia.
"Then you better clean it up then," Ragnar, chuckling to himself, ran towards the others, enjoying the chase. He knew Ororo wouldn't let him get away with that easily.
Ragnar turned around and saw Ororo just behind him, her face flushed, but her eyes still held that glint of mischief.
"Oh, I'll make sure it's clean alright!" Ororo shouted, her face turning white as she ran after Ragnar. The wind seemed to help her gain speed. "You're going to regret that, Ragnar," she said, her voice laced with warning.
What they both didn't notice when they left was that Otis suddenly sat up straight, 'Kids,' Otis thought although he didn't understand why everything suddenly became clear. He knew he needed to hide his uniqueness first.
But then Otis felt someone was beside him as he slowly turned his head and looked down to see a small human girl looking at him in shock, her mouth open.
"The cow is sitting up straight!" Dalia shouted in excitement, before she ran towards the other kids.
"MOOO!" Otis hurriedly went back to his position and continued grazing like nothing happened.

"It's time to eat!" Elliot shouted, while flipping sizzling of the steak on the grill filling the air with a tantalizing aroma. He called out to the children, who were playing with the animals.
"You guys better make sure you take a shower, otherwise I'm gonna eat this all by myself," Elliot teased, making the children stop, their eyes falling on their dirty clothes, and they ran towards the shack.
"Looks like it's the right decision to take them in," Sicilia whispered, a soft smile gracing her lips. She pointed her wine glass towards Ragnar and Ororo, who were chasing each other.
"Yeah, it's good this kid finally had some real friends," Elliot sighed with relief, his voice tinged with contentment. He didn't want Ragnar to be solely focused on missions.
"Ragnar, Ororo, you guys wash up too, otherwise Sicilia wouldn't let you eat!" Elliot shouted, threateningly.
"Don't think I'm done with you," Ororo said, rolling her eyes at Ragnar, a playful glint in her eyes. She started walking towards the shack. "Hey, wait for me," Ragnar said, catching up to her before pushing her to the side.
Sicilia rolled her eyes at her husband. She felt a small arm wrap around her leg. She looked down to see Dalia, her eyes sparkling with excitement.
"I saw the cow sit up straight!" Dalia exclaimed, pointing towards Otis.
"Oh, honey, it's not a magical animal, it's just a cow," Sicilia said, smiling as she picked up Dalia and held her in her arms. She looked at Otis, who was calmly grazing, and shook her head. "Now, let's wash up, shall we?"
"But I really did see it!" Dalia said, pouting. She looked at Otis, who suddenly showed a sneer, and pointed with urgency. "Look, look!" But Sicilia just continued walking towards the shack, and Dalia could only glare at the cow.

"So where do you plan to go now?" Sicilia asked Ragnar, her gaze warm and inquisitive. She put food on the children's plates, their faces bright with anticipation.
"I don't know," Ragnar shook his head, a sigh escaping his lips. He had already completed two missions. He could complete the other two if given some time, but now he didn't know where to go.
Ragnar didn't know where he could get other missions, besides going to the Xavier's School for Gifted Youngsters.
"How about this, you think of a place where you want to go, and don't think about your missions," Elliot said, his voice serious, his eyes fixed on his son.
"Let's enjoy this vacation, and the kids also wanted it too, right?" Elliot winked playfully at the children, who were listening to their conversation with curiosity.
Ororo sat beside Ragnar, listening intently, trying to figure out what mission they were talking about because he hadn't said anything about it to her.
Ragnar frowned as he thought about a place in this universe that he wanted to go. Asgard, perhaps, or maybe even Omnipotence City, where gods lived. But he knew both places were not possible to visit with his current strength.
'There's a place,' Ragnar thought, his eyes lighting up. 'Although they might not welcome outsiders, they wouldn't attack us,' he thought, imagining a place where another dragon lives.
"I know where we can go!" Ragnar said excitedly. 'Maybe can even trick some of those mythical creatures to get in the shit case,' he thought, smirking.
Elliot and Sicilia exchanged a look, sensing the excitement in Ragnar's tone, an excitement that wasn't there when they visited Cairo.
"Where do you want to go this time?" Elliot asked curiously, knowing his son was planning on doing something big again.
The children and Ororo looked towards Ragnar, eager to hear where they would be traveling as It would be their first time traveling the world.
"China!" Ragnar said, but his excitement wilted. He scratched his head, his face clouded with uncertainty.
"I think," Ragnar whispered, realizing he only knew that the portal location was in a moving Bamboo forest and was close to Xu Wenwu's base of the Ten Rings, but he didn't know where either the bamboo forest or the Ten Rings base was located.
"You're not sure?" Elliot asked, his voice laced with surprise. This was the first time that Ragnar had been uncertain about something, and the unexpected hesitation made him even more curious.
"I don't know where it's located, it's basically a moving Bamboo Forest," Ragnar said, a sigh escaping his lips.
"It's a doorway to a magical place, where there are these magical creatures, like nine-tailed foxes, even a Qilin and a dragon," Ragnar explained, his voice got louder with anticipation as he mentioned a dragon.
"Since that Bamboo Forest exists, rumors about that place will exist as well," Sicilia said, sitting down with a graceful ease. She showed a teasing smile, her eyes sparkling with amusement.
"We better find this place now that everyone is excited," Sicilia said, looking at the children, their faces alight with imagination as they pictured the place Ragnar had described.
Elliot, on the other hand, was focused on a different aspect. He looked at Ragnar with palpable excitement, his eyes gleaming with anticipation. "A dragon, like a real dragon?"
"Yes," Ragnar nodded, his voice filled with conviction. The father and son shared a look of determination knowing they both wanted the same thing.
Elliot coughed slightly, drawing attention to himself. He looked at everyone seated around the table. "Ahem, so it's decided, the next place we're going."
"You're more excited than the kids," Sicilia whispered, rolling her eyes at her husband's childishness. She sighed, but in her heart, she couldn't help but wonder about what other kind of animals that could still existed in that place.
