Love Yokai

" So we're going off to another planet to find Enmei."Hudson told Hotaru as she stood at the door to our apartment and she looked on shocked at the group of Alien kids behind him.

The stars were already out in the night sky and Hudson was getting anxious thinking about Enmei.

" Can I come too ? " Hotaru asked and Venus smiled.

" No. It's too far and Yukina already volunteered to keep your company." Hudson told his sister and she pouted sadly.

" That's so lame. Why do I have to stay at home ?"

" I can shape shift into animals. " Yukina told Hotaru and the young girl stared at her.

" Prove it ." Hudson's sister said stepping out the apartment door and Yukina stepped forward and shapeshifted into a fluffy cat.

Hotaru took her up immediately smiling brightly.

" I always wanted a cat and Hudson would never let me have one."

" That's because cats harbor troubled spirits."

" Dude you totally made that up." Alto said .

" Listen I've got other stuff to do . If you want to save the girl then get the hell on the spaceship."

" Bye Yukina . Bye Hotaru ." Hudson said as he left his sister and Yukina at the apartment

The rest of the Affection Alliance and Eros left with Hudson and got into Eros' space ship.

They knew it was going to be a long journey but .....

Nevermind . The ship was teleported to Planet Siren and Venus gave everyone shapeshifting potions that she got from Yukina.

" These potions can turn us into Fish or Merpeople. The transformations are not permanent so we need to find the girl as soon as possible and get her in the ship before we change back or we will drown." Venus said as she handed out the potions.

" Got it. " Hudson said and they all drank their potions.

Alto transformed into whale and Eros transformed into a Merman.

Venus transformed into a mermaid, Orion transformed into a Goblin Shark and Hudson transformed into a small starfish.

" Seriously? A starfish." Hudson asked and Eros opened the spaceship.

Alto swam out the spaceship angrily.

They were now swimming in the waters of Planet Siren and hoping to find the lost girl.

" Wait I think I know where they might bring her. There's a castle in the middle of the first Sea and inside of it is a shrine where they make sacrifices." Venus said as she swam ahead.

They saw strange sea plants, horrible looking fish and fish that were so beautiful that they look like flowers.

One fish had feathers with patterns like a peacock and some of the fishes glowed brightly.

" We've arrived. Alto, use your powers on the guards." Orion told the other boy and he nodded.

They were now in front of a large castle.

" Cover your ears." Orion said, his voice was soft.

"We don't even have hands." Hudson said and Venus used her power to create a barrier around all of them except Alto.

" Sleep deep." Alto shouted and his voice echoed causing huge ripples in the water. The guards immediately fell to the ground, snoring loudly and Venus removed her barrier so they could swim up to the castle's main entrance.

Eros ripped the door off and they all entered , swimming around frantically and looking for any signs of the Siren Princess and Enmei.

" Damn it . There are so many rooms." Eros groaned as he swam down the halls. There were more than 10 doors on either side and a bright red carpet that was the length of the entire hallway's floor.

The lights went off and then Eros started glowing.

" They know we're here let's go split up and search different rooms. "

" You miss us already ? We were just at your college." The Siren Princess appeared in front of them and Alto screamed at her.

" Show us where the girl you took is !" His seductive speech power were effective and the Siren Princess immediately fell into a trance and swam calmly to show him the way.

Venus follow her lead.

The Siren Princess lead them into a small room where Enmei was being held in some kind of sacred tube.

" Free her ! " Alto said and his voice echoed.

The Siren Princess broke the jar and pulled the girl out.

Enmei was now sobbing uncontrollably. She was traumatized.

" Please I promise I'm not Eros' lover or anything. I like him but he'd never like me. I'm just a lowly peasant to him."

" You aren't making this any better. Eros' love match is supposed to be a peasant. Please just let Eros carry you back to safety."

" I don't want anything to do with Eros ! People want to kill me because they think he loves me and He doesn't love anyone!" Enmei sobbed uncontrollably as she shouted at them.

Alto tried to hold back his laughter but he couldn't. He laughed and everyone turned to look at him.

" What ?"

In Planet Siren everyone can talk while under water and everyone could breathe under it too for some strange reason. It was as if their planets atmosphere made water breathable or maybe it was just siren magic that was used on their planet to help keep their visitors alive.

" I'll bring her to Safety." Alto said and he swam in front of Enmei.

" Follow me. " He said and everyone followed him back to the spaceship.

" We need to leave right now before the guards start waking up." Orion said and Enmei just kept crying.

She was clearly traumatized.

The potions wore off and they all transformed back to their original forms.

Hudson was sitting beside Enmei in the spaceship and as Eros started it Hudson tried to find the right words to say to Enmei.

" Enmei , I think we need to talk."

" About what ?"

" About why I tried to save Eros instead of you."

" Forget it. I don't care.Nobody wants to know."

" Well I'm a bit curious now." Alto said with a small smile.

" Listen Enmei you are very special to me. I would do anything to make you happy. I just don't know why I did that."

" Bro, please don't try to confess your love to her right now. This is exactly why Eros doesn't believe in love. Human beings don't even know what love is. You don't prioritize her needs and you had the audacity pretend like there was much more to the situation." Alto said, shaking his head disapprovingly

" Please leave me out of it. I couldn't even fall in love if I It's bad enough I have the weakling as my weapon." Eros said , not taking his eyes of the sky as he started the space ship and took off into the air with Venus beside him and the rest of them in the back seats.

5 HOURS LATER....

Eros landed the spaceship safely on Earth right outside of his Apartment building but it was invisible to the human eye and much smaller than before. He teleported everyone out of the space ship and into Hudson's House where Yukina was back to her normal form and sitting on the couch with glitter on her face and ribbons on her hair. Hotaru was sitting right beside her.

She had that book. The book that Eros had told Venus to get rid of and she was reading stories from it to Hotaru.

"So the Old woman looked the cursed girl in the eye and whispered these words to her. In another Universe you are the person you love. So sometimes when two people can't see eye to eye it's because in another life they had gotten used to seeing soul to soul." Yukina read from the book and Hotaru's eyes widened.

Hudson started thinking deeply about the words that Yukina read.

" Having fun disobeying my rules? " Eros asked and Yukina was startled by his voice. She closed the book immediately and got up off the couch.

' If you are the person you love in another Universe then that means I would be ...' Hudson thought but he lost his train of thought when Venus interrupted Eros' arguing to celebrate that Enmei was back.

" What the hell is your problem? " Eros scowled at Venus then he took the book away from Yukina.

Hudson took a good look at the book , planning to try to ' borrow it ' later without Eros knowing.

He wanted to know the real reason why He got his power and he now wanted to know the answer to the question.

" Who would you be in another Universe ? " Yukina asked Hudson and he laughed nervously.

" I don't know maybe I'd still be myself but with more confidence." He said then he walked away from her and went to his room while the others argued over if they should keep the book or not.

"This book is BANNED from all meet ups. I don't want to hear anyone talk about the prophecy, the dumb folk tales or even mention the word love." Eros announced holding the book up above his head.

" Why are you so lame ?" Hotaru asked and Venus laughed.

" I'm not lame I just don't have time to waste reading fairytales." He replied.

" The stories in the book are true." Venus argued and Eros just walked out the door with the book in his hand his mind filled with thought.

' If you are the person you love in another Universe then wouldn't that mean that in another Universe I wouldn't exist.' Eros thought as he walked out the door and Hudson's eyes opened widely as he layed in bed.

He heard Eros' thoughts and it was very concerning to him.
