THE NEXT DAY

Just like every other day, today In the restaurant wasn't different, preparing dishes for politicians,couples and other business men coming to make business deals. today is one of the busiest days in the restaurant and Kimberly and other chefs were busy in the kitchen when mr Lindsay called for her

She was about to return back into the kitchen when she heard someone call her name "hey Kim"she turned to see the same man who helped her repair her car yesterday with a polite smile she greeted "hello"she replied while Alex just stood still staring at her hair that was tied into a ponytail and was covered with a chef apron cap, the chef uniform on her was awesome as it highlighted her curves

"Hey you work here ?"he asked sprites to see her here

"Yes I do, I'm a chef here but what are you doing here?" She asked

"Oh I have a meeting her with a client"

"Wow that's nice" "by the way Kim after my meeting would you like to have dinner with me later "Alex asked. Immediately she heard this Kimberly had her guard up sensing her unease Alex intervened

"Wowh, little tigress,I'm not trying to kill you or do anything bad I just want to have a friendly dinner with a new friend of mine "Kimberly stared at the man in front of her he didn't seem to be like the others she had met, she became confused as to why he called her his friend. She arrogantly crises her hands in front of her chest while staring at him blankly

" I'm not your friend at all mr wait why would I want to be your friend ?"

"Little tigress you see I have never had a friend before"he answered with a genuine smile and Kim could feel her heartbeat race that instant what was this guy doing to her she asked her self inwardly

"Sorry I don't make friends with guys "ah replied godly. "But I won't be able to sleep again"he unconsciously uttered

"Huh!! Say what now? "she looked at him Confused

"But I want to be your friend, I can do dishes, chop veggies, I can even sweep, pls I'll do anything to be your friend"Alex held her hands pouting like a child that was throwing a tantrum. The sight of their boss behaving childish still shocked Ezekiel, with his tantrum Kim was loss for words

"Okay okay let me think about it, oh by the way why did you call me little tigress that isn't my name you know?" She smiles this time genuine.

This is the first time he is seeing her smile to him genuinely[gosh her smile is so adorable] Alex chanted in his mind. Alex strode towards her, his intimidating height, physique, his kissable lips and his perfectly shaped nose was all Kim could see while he was walking to and her as she imagined him walking in slow motion

[did I hit my head]kimberly pinched herself to stop her stupid imagination "but I prefer little tigress for you " he said with a childish frown.

Both of them were so engrossed in their different thought.

"Oh mr Chen"the both of them turned to see the voice that interrupted them only to see mr Lindsay. Mr Chen the name kept ringing in Kim's ears where had she head the name from

One second..two seconds.....three seconds

Then it finally clicked as she turned to see her so called friend that had just been addressed as mr Chen.

"Wowh hold on you are mr Chen as in Alexander Chen the man who runs the country economy?"She asked with her eyes widened with surprise

"Er yes I am"he replied so casually wondering why she looks so surprise

"I thought that the almighty mr Chen is an old man,I can't believe I have been talking to me Chen when I'm supposed to be pleasing you like my boss asked me to" she teased making Alex giggle "well if you want to please me like your boss has Said then you have to be my friend"Alex pouted making her giggle.

Watching the interaction between them mr Lindsay is suprised. "Nah your my friend, mr Lindsay this is my friend Kimberly "Alex turned his face back to me Lindsay his face had turned back to its original cold and aloof state that can make people cower with fear. His change of expression left Kim stunned [how can someone smile to her but then be aloof to people with a second].

" Kimberly I can't believe that your friends with me Chen" Mr Lindsay stared making kim itch the back of her neck with her index finger awkwardly. "Little tigress be good I'll come back then we'll have dinner later okay" Alex said patting her head before leaving. As he towards the elevator, his aura commanded respect. Today he is going to meet a politician who wanted to run for the senate but he knew that the politician needed his backing.

INSIDE THE VVIP SECTION

"Mr Chen it's so nice to see you, I really is an honour" a man in his fifties said trying to coy his Fávøúr but Alex just stared at him blankly.

"Mr Smith let's go straight to the point" Alex replied coldly not wanting to delay any longer while mr Smith stared at him awkwardly [he is just like what they said about him cold and aloof] he thought inwardly.

The both of them kept making business deals while having lunch until the time flew by. Suddenly, Alex attention was drawn to the tv on the wall. The station was reporting a headline.

MANAGER OF CHEN CORPORATION FOUND DEAD

As Alex watched the news, he fought the urge to smirk, the fucking asshole was skinned beyond repair and recognition, his pets did good this time. However, since Zeke had already cleaned up the mess he was so sure that there is no way he is going to be a suspect to the murder.

During his meeting with different politicians, he learned one thing "be strict", this is the only way this is the only way to stir them off her path. Nd Smith here is looking for a way to coy his daughter with Alex to crate a rumor of their dating so that he could acquire more deals since Alex has never been spotted on camera with any female. As Mr Smith was busy scheming, Alex mind drifted to his little tigress, without wasting any more time he shook hands with me smith and strode to the regular part of the restaurant to find his little tigress.
