LET ME LOVE AGAIN

CHAPTER 32-THE ATTACK

After rounding up for the day,Alex chose to drive himself and Kim home today,five minutes of driving, Kimberly noticed two cars trailing behind them,one black and one grey.

"Alex,I think those two cars are trailing behind us"Kim said only to hear Alex curse.

"SHIT !!!"

"Alex what's wrong" she asked creasing her brows at a serious faced Alex.

"Baby pls don't be scared,I think those must be my enemies trying to kill me" he answered casually like he wasn't facing life and death making think of what kind of man is he.

"How sure are you that they're your enemies" she asked as her heart has started to raise.

"We're about to find out" Alex said speeding his car like he was a car racer and the two cars also sped after them.

"Fuck they're your enemies, what do we do"she asked trying to calm down.

"Baby listen I won't let you get hurt okay, I'll look for way to loose them, I won't drag you into my mess" Alex assured her still trying to loose the cars but couldn't. Suddenly an idea class coed in Kim's head .

"Do you have a gun" she asked

"Huh"he said confused with his face still focused on the road

"I said do you have a fucking gun in your car" she yelled.

"Yeah it's under your seat why ?" He asked not knowing what was running in his little tigress head.

"I thought as much" she inspected the seat and found an unusual button under the seat. She pressed the button which automatically opened a small pocket under her seat, wow she was amused on how creative Alex was in hiding his guns from the eyes of everyone but now was not the time to be happy so she pulled out a BARRET M82.

"Handle the driving I'll take care of these assholes" she gave a command to Alex who was surprised to his bones,he never knew Kim could handle a gun,by now other girls should be shivering or crying out of fear but this little tigress of his is a little tigress indeed,he knew she was good in martial art but guns nah,he won't taint her clean hands with the blood of those assholes.

"No babe I'm the mafia here so I should protect you not you protecting us" Alex disagreed slowing the speed of his car.

"Like ok trust me okay I'll be fine just drive the car to a more secluded place,I'll take it from there" she convinced Alex who did as she had said.

Kimberly packed her hair into a ponytail,went up to the car roof which Alex had opened earlier,place her gun and started to shoot.

Kimberly was able to take down three guys with three shots stunning Alex.

[within ten minutes there were able to take down their opponent sparing the lives of two ]. Alex called Zeke,who arrived in less than five minutes and was surprised to see the number of dead bodies on the ground, he was also surprised to see Kimberly holding a gun and Alex who was grazed with a bullet in his left arm.

"Boss"Zeke called Alex as soon as he arrived.

"Clean this mess and the remaining two shitheads make sure to fish out answers from them and oh I don't want any weed is that clear" Alex ordered his voice as cold as ice before getting into another car brought by one of his men that came with Zeke since his car was already damaged.

Alex made one of his men drive the car while he kept looking at Kimberly sitting quietly with guilt and worry plastered on her face. He knew fully well why she was guilty.

"Baby I'm sorry" Alex said jotting her out of her trance.

"Huh, for what"

"For ruining our date, for putting you in danger, I promise this won't happen again"Alex promised.

"It's okay let's just go" she said

"Wait hold on,how do you know how to handle a gun"Alex asked still surprised by earlier although her skills where not the best however her skills are impressive.

"Well what can I say I'm full of surprises"she boasted making Alex smile

"Yes you are"he seconded.

"Well When i started to learn martial art with my best friend Rose, she was scared that one day Lorenzo would come back so she made us learn how to handle guns since Lorenzo was also in the mafia she made us learn with more improved guns, well I wasn't interested in using guns so I didn't put much effort. Well....not until Adolfo kidnapped me the last time. I learnt to handle gun for self defense which today is one of them"She said yawning.

"I love you babe" Alex declared,trying to kiss Kimberly who immediately covered his lips with her palms.

"Not today lover boy,you're injured and I have to rest"Kim said pushing Alex away from her.

THE NEXT DAY

Alex opened his eyes,he stared at the woman sleeping in his arm peacefully. He used his other free hand to support his head while he kept staring at the beauty besides him from her white skin that is gracefully exposed as her nighties were open to her lips. Fuck he just loves the woman besides him.

Today is weekend,although he had work to do, he still wanted to cook for his Kimberly, he ordered all his house help out of the kitchen which was a shock to them.

As the chefs were leaving the kitchen Alex used his index finger to itch the back of his head embarrassingly, he doesn't know how to cook but he still wanted to cook for his little tigress without anyone's help. "Hey wait " Alex ordered and all the chefs paused, waiting for him to pass his orders.

"Does any of you have a cook book"

AFTER TWO HOURS

Kimberly was woken up by a nice aroma beside her. She felt someone kiss her neck and her chest till she finally opened her eyes knowing who he was.

"Good morning babe, I made breakfast" Kim's eyes widen in surprise [Alex cooked breakfast ... oh no ] she thought inwardly as she knew Alex wasn't good in the kitchen.

Seeing an horrific expression on her face,Alex laughed knowing what she was thinking. He couldn't cook so he knew she was trying to mentally prepare herself to eat the worse meal ever.

Alex opened the plate and gave the sandwich to her. Kimberly couldn't help but marvel at how the sandwich was. Indeed she was expecting a mess but he surprised her, she praised him countless times.

"I love you baby" Kim pecked his but they were interrupted by a noise down stairs.

"What was that"she asked getting up from the bed but Alex held her back.

"Baby it's nothing, pls don't go down" Alex pout his lips trying to stop her from seeing he mess but she had already left before he could stop her.

Kim eyes widened in surprise at the sight of the kitchen,the kitchen was a mess, eggs were scattered on the floor,milk was spilt here and there and there were like two dozens of burnt sandwiches.

"What's this mess" Kim asked Alex whose face was red with embarrassment as he heard his helps chuckled and the amused face of Kimberly staring directly into his eyes.

"Oh sir wanted to make breakfast for you without our help so this was the outcome" one of the help said chuckling at how red his boss is right now.

Kim laughed till her stomach ache making Alex even redder, what could she have expected from a am who hasn't entered the kitchen before. She went to him and hugged him whispering this ears

"Thank you" Kimberly sincerely appreciated his effort, she felt loved and cared for.

"Anything for you bae,oh don't forget about the banquet later in the evening,l make sure Amy is her to take care of you"

"Okay no problem I just want to rest with you today" as she said it Alex lifted her up wrapping her legs around his waist not minding that the helps where there till they excused the couples as they could not bare the torture of their boss eating his girlfriend face.

Alex intwined his tongue with hers while carrying her to their room.
