konoha:I'm the God of ninja world

Chapter 52: Chapter 52: Everyone is Shocked! This Kid is So Strong! Karin! Temari! Anko! He Has Already Taken It!

Morkel said no more.

There was no need to negotiate further. Anyone who could become a Konoha S-rank wanted criminal was undoubtedly dangerous.

As a member of Konoha, encountering such a person meant a fight to the death.

"I'm ready."

Morkel's voice was calm, but his eyes were cold.

"Huh?"

Sasuke turned around, expecting Morkel to say something to boost morale, but instead, he heard:

"Find a chance to escape."

"...What?"

"This man was once a disciple of the Third Hokage and is an S-rank wanted criminal in Konoha. He is not someone you or I can easily confront. The most important thing right now is to ensure our own safety."

Morkel spoke in a hushed tone before reaching out and pulling Sasuke closer.

Orochimaru noticed the subtle movement and smirked.

"Whoosh!"

A slippery tongue shot out of his mouth like a sharp sword, aiming directly at Morkel and Sasuke!

Morkel didn't give him a chance. He immediately pulled Sasuke back to Naruto using the Flying Thunder God Technique.

Then, without hesitation, he grabbed the injured Naruto and teleported again!

Seeing them vanish, Orochimaru remained unfazed.

"No matter how far you run, you must head to the center of the examination hall to submit your scrolls. I don't believe you have already set up a Flying Thunder God mark there."

---

The Other Side of Examination Room 44

Tenten and Neji had already fallen asleep, with Lee standing guard.

As a hardworking genius, Lee naturally wouldn't waste any opportunity to train. He was currently doing push-ups near the fire.

"Nine hundred and ninety-six... nine hundred and ninety-seven... nine hundred and ninety-eight..."

"Alright! Two more and I'll reach a thousand! One step ahead of the Night School District!"

Right then—

"Boom!"

Morkel's team suddenly appeared behind Lee and landed right on his back!

Fortunately, Lee was strong enough to support their weight.

Feeling the sudden pressure, Lee instinctively reacted, kicking backward!

"Oof!"

The high-speed kick created a gust of wind!

"Bang!"

Morkel quickly blocked it and whispered, "Don't attack, it's me."

"Morkel? And Naruto? Sasuke? Why are you suddenly here?"

Lee looked utterly confused.

The noise had already woken Tenten and Neji.

Tenten rubbed her eyes. "Am I dreaming? Why do I see that red-haired boy again?"

"..." Neji was silent.

"Are you trying to steal our scroll?" Neji asked cautiously.

Although they were from the same village, in the Chūnin Exam, everyone was a competitor.

"No."

Morkel waved his hand. "We encountered a powerful enemy and used the Flying Thunder God mark I left on Lee earlier to teleport here."

"Flying Thunder God mark? When?"

Lee searched his body and found a special tree-shaped mark on his leg weights.

He suddenly realized, "It was when you caught my kick?!"

Morkel nodded.

Neji frowned. "Who did you encounter?"

Morkel hesitated for a moment, but Sasuke answered bluntly:

"Orochimaru."

Lee and Naruto looked confused. "Who? Why are you so scared?"

Neji explained, "He is an S-rank fugitive from Konoha. A mad scientist who experiments on human bodies."

Tenten's drowsiness vanished instantly. "How did such a dangerous man enter the Chūnin Exam?!"

"Who knows?" Sasuke muttered.

Morkel said, "We need to report this to the higher-ups immediately. If we don't, more people might die."

After some thought, Morkel turned to the others. "Watch over Sasuke and Naruto. I'll teleport to the Hokage's office and report this personally."

Naruto narrowed his eyes. "But won't that ruin your exam?"

Morkel shrugged. "The Chūnin Exam happens twice a year. There will be more chances. Right now, saving lives is more important."

Everyone nodded in agreement.

Just as Morkel prepared to use the Body Flicker Technique, a group of masked Konoha Anbu appeared.

The lead Anbu captain grabbed Morkel's wrist, preventing him from teleporting.

"No need. The Hokage is already aware and sent us to handle it. If you teleport without permission, you'll be disqualified."

Morkel blinked. The voice was familiar.

Half a second later, he realized—it was his teacher, Yamato!

"Teacher Yamato, long time no see!" Morkel greeted excitedly.

Yamato sighed. "Yes, the Hokage already knows. This isn't your concern. Focus on your exam. We'll handle Orochimaru."

Then, to avoid further conversation, Yamato swiftly led the team away.

On the way, an Anbu member whispered, "Captain Yamato, is that the new genius of Konoha?"

Yamato's lips twitched. "He's more than a genius. The Third Hokage called him 'the future hope of Konoha.'"

Another Anbu scoffed. "Really? He doesn't seem that impressive."

Yamato sighed. "With his ability, he could be an Anbu captain."

The Anbu members were stunned.

"Captain, you're joking, right? He's not even thirteen!"

"Do I look like I'm joking?" Yamato smirked.

The team fell silent.

---

Two Days Later

Morkel's team remained cautious, avoiding unnecessary battles in case Orochimaru returned.

Seeing no further movement, Morkel relaxed.

Maybe Anbu had captured Orochimaru.

So, he restarted his money-making plan.

The Fourth Day of the Exam

Morkel's team now held seven Scrolls of Heaven and eight Scrolls of Earth—along with a lot of money.

Since there were twenty-eight Earth Scrolls in total, they had taken over half!

Naruto stared at the pile of scrolls. "Uh... what do we need so many for?"

Morkel knocked his head. "Where there's demand, there's business. There are desperate teams in the Forest of Death who need scrolls to pass."

"We sell them at the central tower. One hundred thousand copper coins per scroll. Fair deal, right?"

Naruto's eyes sparkled. "Wait, if we sell all of them... that's over a million copper coins?!"

Morkel grinned. "Exactly. Now, let's set up shop."

---

Under the Central Tower

Morkel found a large wooden table and neatly arranged thirteen scrolls in two rows: "Heaven" and "Earth."

Naruto, Sasuke, and Morkel sat behind the table, an umbrella shielding them from the sun.

Naruto leaned in. "Morkel, aren't we going to get mobbed?"

Sasuke nodded. "We robbed so many people. What if they attack together?"

Morkel smirked. "They can try."

From above, Mitarashi Anko watched with amusement.

"They earned these scrolls fair and square," she said. "That red-haired kid even faced Orochimaru and was ready to report to the Hokage. He's already proven himself."

---

The first customers arrived.

Gaara, Temari, and Kankuro.

Temari raised an eyebrow. "Handsome boy, why do you have so many scrolls?"

Morkel smirked. "Special means. One hundred thousand each. No bargaining."

Temari gasped. "That's robbery!"

Morkel crossed his arms. "Heh... it's already been taken."
