Konoha, Just Like Kizaru

Chapter 83: 083 New Mission, Holiday is Over

Tsunade was extremely angry, Since when did she need a kid to handle her affairs?

Her blonde hair swayed wildly, and the black diamond-shaped mark on her forehead began to glow with an ominous purple light.

The glow pulsed and spread outward as if alive, forming intricate curse marks that quickly covered her entire face.

In an instant, the dense Chakra sealed within her was unlocked, surging through her body like a raging tsunami. The sheer force of it was clear to naked eye.

This was Tsunade's unique sealing technique, the Byakugou no Jutsu— a method of storing unused Chakra over time within the seal, only to release it in overwhelming quantities when needed

The unleashed Chakra continuously repaired Tsunade's body, putting her into a temporary state of near-immortality. T

his wasn't just a casual fight anymore—her anger at Simu's attitude was clear.

"She's really serious now… Did she activate the Mitotic Regeneration: Byakugou no Jutsu?" Simu muttered, his expression becoming more cautious.

The Mitotic Regeneration: Byakugou no Jutsu was Tsunade's ultimate trump card, rarely used except in critical moments.

Simu realized he couldn't take this lightly.

Tsunade's palm glowed intensely as she condensed an immense amount of Chakra into a scalpel-like form. The energy around it radiated with sharp, focused power.

"Let me show you what it means to be a senior!" she roared.

Without hesitation, Tsunade charged forward, slamming her Chakra Scalpel directly into Simu's upcoming lightsaber.

The golden longsword gleamed as it clashed fiercely against Tsunade's powerful Chakra Scalpel. The sheer force of the impact created a massive shockwave that rippled through the air.

"Argh!!!" Tsunade's face twisted with determination as she let out a ferocious growl, channeling every ounce of strength into her attack.

Her fists trembled as she drove the Chakra Scalpel closer to the radiant sword before her.

The moment their energies collided, a high-pitched screech erupted, sharp enough to make one's ears ring.

The piercing sound seemed to shake the very air, echoing through the forest.

With one final push, Tsunade's overwhelming strength tipped the balance.

The golden longsword fractured and exploded into countless shimmering fragments, scattering like fleeting stars.

The aftermath was devastating. Every massive tree within a radius of tens of meters snapped cleanly in half, crashing to the ground with resounding thuds.

The area became eerily silent, save for the faint crackle of residual energy dissipating into the air.

"Damn kid," Tsunade muttered, letting the Chakra dissipate from her hand. A deep, crimson cut ran across her fist.

Although she had shattered Simu's golden sword, her own hand had taken damage in the process. She hadn't expected Simu's technique to be so fierce.

Even with the activation of the Mitotic Regeneration: Byakugou no Jutsu, her Chakra Scalpel hadn't been enough to nullify the attack completely.

The wound was caused by senjutsu-infused Chakra—damage that even the Byakugou no Jutsu couldn't heal instantly.

Unlike normal injuries, wounds from senjutsu slowed her healing to a crawl—five times slower than usual.

"You've been holding back, haven't you? Shame on you," Tsunade said, her tone sharp with frustration.

Simu, unshaken, responded calmly, "Oh no, this is just the result of my training over the past year."

He gave a faint smile before adding, "But I must say, Tsunade-san, your strength is truly terrifying!"

Tsunade snorted coldly, refusing to reply. She still had the option to activate a higher stage of the Byakugou no Jutsu, but she hesitated.

Doing so would mean tapping into her own life force—a cost she wasn't willing to pay lightly.

It felt unnecessary to go all out against a kid like Simu.

And yet, there was no telling how much strength this foolishly talented guy was hiding.

A year ago, he had already defeated the most powerful members of the Hyuga clan.

In the time since, he had mastered Sage Mode and developed several new techniques using senjutsu.

Who knew how much his power had grown?

Tsunade glanced at Simu with a complex mix of emotions—admiration, apprehension, and even a little bit of jealousy.

As a direct descendant of the Senju clan, she had failed to master the Sage Mode of the Shikkotsu Forest, but somehow Simu had succeeded.

The admiration came from the potential Simu represented—a future supernova who could strengthen Konoha.

But with such terrifying power, if left unchecked, he could just as easily become a threat to Konoha's stability.

"If that's the case, let's end today's lesson from Tsunade-san,"

Simu said, scratching his head with a sheepish grin. "If we keep going, I might not survive."

Tsunade snorted coldly. "Do whatever you want."

For her, the fight had lost its purpose. She had intended to use the battle to give Simu a few pointers and knock him down a peg—teach him the dangers of underestimating an opponent.

But instead, Simu's strength had far exceeded her expectations, and the tables had turned.

Seriously, are all these brats this freakishly strong?

Before Simu could say more, the phone bug in his hand began to wriggle, signaling an incoming call.

"Moses, what's going on?"

Simu picked up the den-den Mushi, and Minato's voice came from over there.

"Congratulations, Simu. Your mission ban has been lifted."

Simu's face immediately dropped.

Mission ban lifted means my vacation is over. What's wrong with just staying in the village and taking it easy? Why send me on a mission now?

Simu couldn't figure it out.

But since Minato contacted him exclusively through den-den mushi, he must be on a business trip again.

"You guessed right."

Minato gave an affirmative answer.

"Come back first. Meet me at the usual place,"

Minato's voice instructed through the Den-Den Mushi.

Simu sighed, his shoulders slumping, and turned to Tsunade with a weak smile. "Well, Tsunade-san, you heard the man..."

Before he could finish, Tsunade waved her hand dismissively. "Go on, get out of here. You're just getting in the way now."

"Alright, I'll take my leave then," Simu said, raising a hand lazily. As he turned to leave, he waved at Katsuyu. "See you next time, Katsuyu."

"Good luck, Mr. Kizaru," Katsuyu replied in its ever-polite tone.

Just as Simu was about to step away, Tsunade's voice stopped him.

"Hey, boy," she said firmly, her tone serious. "With power like yours, make sure you use it on the right path."

Simu paused, glancing back over his shoulder. "Yeah, yeah, sure," he said with a nonchalant shrug, stuffing his hands into his pockets.

But as he walked away, he smirked to himself. Using power the right way? Guess that depends on the situation.

After all, he's a Marine Admiral—a man who moves as he pleases, following no one's rules but his own.

"This kid..." Tsunade muttered, watching Simu vanish into the distance, leaving only a wisp of smoke behind.

"Tsunade-sama, don't worry," Katsuyu reassured her softly. "Mr. Kizaru may not take world peace as his mission like Hashirama-sama, but he's certainly not a bad guy."

The gentle fairy spirit could sense the unmistakable aura of a carefree soul in Simu—a man content with his own pace and goals.

Tsunade exhaled deeply, her brow furrowed. "I hope you're right."

Back in Konoha, a golden flash streaked across the sky as Simu returned. He landed effortlessly in the arena near the Forest of Death, his figure appearing as if from thin air.

As expected, Minato, Kushina, and Lindy were already there, waiting for him.

"You finally made it," Minato said with a warm smile.

Over the past year in the Anbu, Minato's demeanor had undergone a huge transformation.

While he still appeared kind and approachable, there was now an underlying sharpness to him—a lethal edge cloaked beneath his gentle exterior, like a finely honed blade hidden in an elegant sheath.

Simu, on the other hand, looked as laid-back as ever, exuding the vibe of someone who had just rolled out of bed.

"So, what's the mission this time?" Simu asked lazily, casually picking his nose.

He barely had time to finish before Kushina's fiery glare bore into him.

"Oops, bad habit," he said quickly, lowering his hand and trying to act innocent.

Minato sighed, shaking his head in resignation. "As expected, nothing can ever be serious when you're around."

Minato pulled out a scroll and said, "This is an S-rank mission."

Simu immediately frowned. To him, S-rank missions meant danger, trouble, and maybe even a trip to the hospital!

Minato, seemingly expecting Simu's reaction, added casually, "The reward is 10 million ryo."

"Got it!" Simu immediately jumped up. "As long as the pay is right, I'll even fight the five Kage!"

He was joking, of course, but 10 million ryo was no small amount. If he remembered correctly, the bounty for Hokage's son, Asuma, was only 35 million ryo. This mission alone paid nearly a third of that.

Kushina, seeing Simu's overconfidence, directly knocked him back into place with a sharp look.

"Don't cause trouble!" Kushina said, a few black lines appearing on her face. Despite her frustration, she couldn't hide her excitement.

Successfully completing an S-rank mission would logically improve her ninja rank, bringing her closer to her dream of becoming Hokage.

However, Minato's next words shattered her hopes. "Sorry, Kushina, this mission doesn't include you,"

"Why?" Kushina asked, confused.

Minato explained patiently, "This mission requires traveling to the Kingdom of Rivers, which is currently at war with the Kingdom of Wind. There's a high chance the Kingdom of Wind will get involved."

"It's too risky for you to go,"

Kushina fell silent, understanding the special nature of her body and the risks involved.

Kushina understood the risks, knowing that if she encountered danger, she might lose control of the monster inside her.

But the pressure of time weighed heavily on her, and Simu was one of the people she was worried about.

Simu gently patted Kushina on the head. "Don't worry, we'll be back soon."

"Hmph, who's worried about you?"

Kushina turned her head away, pretending to be indifferent.

Minato continued, "The target of this mission is the daimyo of the Country of Tea. According to Anbu's intel, the Kingdom of Tea has fallen under the control of the Kingdom of Wind. It could become a key base for the Wind Kingdom to attack the Fire Country."

"That's why we need to help the Kingdom of River eliminate the daimyo of Tea to ease the pressure on the Fire Nation's border."

"We need to assassinate their daimyo."

No wonder the mission had a high reward of 10 million ryo.

Minato then looked at Lindy. "This mission requires a reconnaissance ninja, so I may need to ask for your help, Lindy."

Lindy nodded firmly. "No problem."

Her attitude had been a bit distant since she returned, and this past year, she hadn't been given any new missions.

Instead, she had been practicing with Simu. In a way, this was her way of helping him. Now that she could contribute, she wouldn't refuse.

Seeing Kushina's worried expression, Lindy smiled. "Sister Kushina, don't worry. I'll take good care of Simu-kun."

Kushina rubbed her head, still a little uneasy.

"Are you stupid? I'm worried about you!"

"I don't care what happens to that guy."
