Description:
A Demon Tamer is a Tamer-line class that asks for the cooperation of demons to support the class owner, as the name may, or may not, reveal.
In the beginning, the Tamer needs to be extremely cautious around the demons they are taming, as the first slip can lead to, no, will lead to the Tamer becoming the tamed one instead of the opposite. If the Tamer is successful, however, they can even start giving support to their demon, and even make the demon take a pledge that marks them as true allies in the end.
The taming part is taken care of by [Demonic Taming] which replaces the Tamer's [Taming] skill when they obtain the class, and the pledging is done by the [Pledge] skill. No surprise there. [Demonic Taming] allows the Tamer to have at most 6 demons under their command, but their abilities are restricted at first. It is only after [Pledge] is used that the demons can run wild for real. At higher levels, [Pledge] may even make the demons stronger than what they already were.
Other skills include [Encouragement] which gives a stat bonus to a single ally, [Leadership] that improves the Tamer's ability to lead the demons, and [Cooperation] which allows two parties, including the skill user, to work together better.
Strangely enough, Demon Tamers are also granted the [Magic Support] skill that allows them to help the magic construction of a different individual. Or maybe it's not so strange when you remember that demons are natural magic users. In addition, Demon Tamers can summon their tamed demons with [Summon Ally], but at the cost of having their total MP reduced by 10% for each summoned demon.
Finally, to assist the dedicated Demon Tamers with their task of taming demons, the class grants these few individuals the [Charisma of Demons] skill. It is not a skill that gives the user charisma equal to a demon's, but they turn more preferable in the eyes of a demon. That alone is not enough to tame a demon though, so be careful, future Demon Tamers.
Ciara's comment: ...maybe if this class can tame even someone like Garami...
Garami's comment: Any bad fairies here~?
Ciara's comment: No, boss! None at all!!
