The Silver-Horned King laughed and said, "Zhu Ganglie, stop shouting. Pulling you out naturally means we're going to eat you."

"Eat me? Didn't you say you would eat me after capturing my master? How come you're going back on your word?" Zhu Ganglie shouted.

With a twist of his body, the Silver-Horned King stepped aside, "Your master? Didn't we just catch him? In a little while, it will be about time to eat."

Upon seeing Tang Sanzang in the big pot, Zhu Ganglie's eyes lit up and he called out, "Master, master! I'm here!"

Tang Sanzang glanced at him and cheerfully said, "Wufan, you're here too? Are you coming in for a soak?"

Zhu Ganglie noticed that the fire was not ordinary and neither was the pot— even a deity thrown into it would be cooked before long. He hurriedly shook his head, "Master, you enjoy it by yourself, I'd rather not... haha..."

On the other side, the Gold-Horned King and the Silver-Horned King laughed as well, "Two fools who don't know death is at hand."

The Silver-Horned King shouted, "Increase the heat, we'll start eating in a minute!"

"Right away!"

The minions shouted in unison.

"Hold on!" the Gold-Horned King intervened, "Second brother, although that monkey is trapped by the mountain, the power you borrowed is from the Five Peaks, not the peaks themselves. That monkey has some tricks up his sleeve, and if he runs away, it will still be a nuisance."

The Silver-Horned King replied, "Please take a seat, big brother. There's no need for you to worry about this. Capturing Sun Wukong is simple. We don't need to do it ourselves, we just need two little demons to take two magic items and fetch him back!"

"Which magic items?" the Gold-Horned King asked.

"My Purple Gold Red Gourd and your Mutton Fat Jade Clean Bottle," replied the Silver-Horned King.

The Gold-Horned King further inquired, "Who should we send?"

"The Crafty Ghost and the Clever Insect will do the trick," the Silver-Horned King said.

So the Gold-Horned King called over the Crafty Ghost and the Clever Insect, and pointing to the treasures he instructed, "Take these treasures, go to a high place, hold the bottle upside down with the base up and the mouth towards the ground, call out Sun Wukong. The moment he answers, he will be sucked into the bottle. Then stick on the 'Spirit Talisman of the Grand Supreme Elder Lord, As Law Commands by Imperial Decree,' and in no time, he will dissolve into pus and blood. Have you got that?"

The two little demons knelt to the ground and kowtowed, "Rest assured, Your Majesty, we've got it!"

Then they took the treasures and left.

Just as the Gold-Horned King and the Silver-Horned King were about to talk about something else, they heard someone shout, "I need someone to scrub my back!"

Pfft!

The Gold-Horned King spat out a mouthful of water, turned around to look, and saw the bald man clamoring inside the pot, "You with the eight hands, you, stop looking at others, come here and scrub my back."

The Spider Spirit looked bewilderedly at the Gold-Horned and Silver-Horned Kings.

After exchanging a glance, just as the Silver-Horned King was about to scold, the Gold-Horned King smiled and said, "A good scrubbing might be nice, we'll enjoy our meal more when he's clean."

Hearing this, the Spider Spirit immediately grabbed the tools and went to give Tang Sanzang a bath.

With the addition of a back scrubber, Tang Sanzang suddenly felt blissful and squinted his eyes, content to lie there without moving.

The Silver-Horned King waved his hand, signaling the demons to increase the heat, to hurry up and stew the bald man thoroughly.

Then, pointing to another pot, the Silver-Horned King commanded, "Little ones, throw that pig in there as well, give it a good scrub, and we'll steam them together in a bit!"

"Yes, Your Majesty!"

The little demons were about to make their move.

Zhu Ganglie glanced around in a panic, his porcine eyes darting from Silver Horned King to the sleepily oblivious Tang Sanzang, then to Golden Horned King who was toying with his wine cup. Suddenly, his eyes lit up as he shouted, "Both of you, listen to me—I have something to say!"

Silver Horned King sneered, "Trying to buy time? You'd better give up on that idea. Your master has been captured, that monkey is nearly dead, and if Sha Wujing dares to come, he'll be no more than something to steam in a pot!"

Zhu Ganglie knew all too well how formidable that baldy was. He was aware that the baldy was just here for a bath, not truly captured.

But he was very worried that the baldy might collude with the demons to steam him instead, especially since his thievish bald master was utterly unreliable.

So Zhu Ganglie said, "You want to eat Tang Sanzang's flesh merely to become immortal, but do you know the correct way to eat it?"

At this, both Golden Horn and Silver Horn were taken aback.

"The correct way to eat? There are particulars to eating human flesh?" asked Golden Horned King.

Zhu Ganglie said, "Of course, there are. Tang Sanzang's flesh is not something to be eaten carelessly."

Silver Horned King spat disdainfully, "I don't believe a word you say. Are you looking to get beaten up?"

Golden Horned King stopped Silver Horned King, saying, "Zhu Ganglie, I'm actually curious about what you mean by particulars. If you make a convincing case today, I'll spare you and give you a chance to live. How does that sound?"

Zhu Ganglie's eyes shone as he asked, "Really?"

Golden Horned King said, "Of course!"

Zhu Ganglie then said, "Well, you've heard that eating a bite of Tang Sanzang's flesh grants immortality, but have you heard the latter half of that saying?"

"There's a latter half?" Even Silver Horned King became curious now.

Zhu Ganglie nodded earnestly and said, "Naturally. It goes, 'Eat a bite of Tang Sanzang's flesh for eternal life, steep a pot of old wine for everlasting days!' This speaks to the method of consuming Tang Sanzang's flesh... If you truly want his flesh to grant you immortality, I suggest you pour out that pot of water and replace it with strong liquor, the stronger the better. Only then will the cooked Tang Sanzang flesh be authentic and unleash the life-persisting effects within it."

His speech was delivered convincingly, and considering their adventures thus far, Zhu Ganglie had honed his acting skills. His words now were quite persuasive.

Especially since the matter was simply substituting the water with wine, which seemed to pose no risk.

Golden Horned King and Silver Horned King huddled together to confer for a moment.

"Younger brother, I have a feeling that this pig is trying to fool us," Golden Horned King said, highly intelligent as he was, he sensed some loopholes but was still uncertain.

Silver Horned King said, "Big brother, are you overthinking it? They're all in our grasp now; what trouble can they possibly stir up? Besides, it's just changing water to wine, not letting that Tang Sanzang run laps or delaying his consumption for a few days. This doesn't interfere with our plan nor waste any time. I really don't see any risk in it.

Besides, this pig is scared of death and holds his life dear, now that we hold his life in our hands, he dare not lie."

Golden Horned King shook his head, "Even so, why must a monk's flesh be steeped in wine?"

Zhu Ganglie overheard and quickly shouted, "That's the brilliance of Mount Ling, isn't it? If I hadn't told you, would you have thought of cooking him in wine? If you don't know, you'll never achieve immortality!"

Hearing this, Golden Horned King nodded slightly and muttered, "There's some sense in that."

Silver Horned King said, "Big brother, there's no risk in trying, right? Why not give it a shot?"

Golden Horned King nodded, "Okay, let's try it!"

With a wave of his hand, Golden Horned King commanded, "Bring in a demon, go fetch me some liquor!"
