Jojo-tsu kaisen (jojo x jjk)

Chapter 8: 8 Jujutsu High

"To be honest, I thought you'd try and struggle," Gojo said aloud, watching Jotaro obediently follow him. He looked a bit disappointed, as if expecting more resistance.

"What makes you think that?" Jotaro asked as they walked toward one of the buildings. They had just arrived at Jujutsu High.

"Well, first of all, you're a giant of a man," Gojo began, grinning. "And second, you look like you're well past your twenties. I didn't expect an adult to listen to a teenager."

"I'm 17," Jotaro replied, his tone flat. Despite his current body being 17, it looked much older. He remembered how Jotaro's appearance seemed to age backward with each reappearance in the show. Hearing this, Gojo's face shifted to a shocked expression. Even Shoko, standing nearby, raised an eyebrow in mild surprise.

"Really?" Gojo asked, leaning in as if to inspect him.

"Really." Jotaro confirmed without elaborating further.

"Show me your ID!" Gojo demanded, his curiosity piqued.

"About that…" Jotaro hesitated. "I was hoping Jujutsu High could help me with a new one."

"That sounds like an excuse to me, old man!" Gojo retorted, clearly not buying it. Shortly after Shoko went her wat and Jotaro and Gojo arrived in a dimly lit room where a middle-aged man stood waiting. He glanced from Gojo to Jotaro and let out a long sigh of relief.

"Are you the one responsible for the Tokyo abandoned hospital incident?" the man asked directly.

Jotaro nodded.

"Haaa…" Masamichi Yaga exhaled deeply, pinching the bridge of his nose before continuing. "Do you realize how much trouble you caused in just one day?"

A bead of sweat formed on Jotaro's forehead.

"Let me list it for you," Yaga began. "Destroyed public property, risked exposing sorcerers to the public eye, exorcised a curse without using a veil and, on top of that, took a special-grade object without authorization."

Jotaro clenched his fists as Yaga spoke. Beside him, Gojo watched with an amused smirk, clearly enjoying the spectacle.

"The higher-ups are already considering executing you," Yaga continued. "Exorcising a special grade without proper clearance makes you a potential threat."

Jotaro tensed at the mention of execution. He had no intention of letting himself go down so easily.

"But," Yaga added, and the tension in the room dropped slightly, "I'll give you a chance. Join Jujutsu High, and the case against you might be dropped."

Jotaro didn't hesitate. "Okay."

Yaga blinked in surprise, clearly expecting resistance.

"Pfft!" Gojo burst out laughing. "Oh man, you're so tame for such a big guy!"

"But," Jotaro interrupted, his tone firm, "I have a condition."

Yaga raised an eyebrow. "Go on."

"I need a new ID," Jotaro said. "The name's Jotaro Kujo, 17 years old, born in February 21, 1989."

Yaga nodded. "That can be arranged. Gojo, you can leave now. I have more questions for Jotaro."

The next few days were spent moving his belongings to Jujutsu High. Jotaro packed up the few clothes and items he owned, settling into his new room. Fortunately for him, he was given a room to himself, as he had specifically requested no roommates. Someone like Gojo seemed like too much of an energy drain.

The room itself was small—smaller than his hotel room—but functional. A bed, a desk, and a closet were all he needed. It didn't take long for him to unpack and make the space his own.

Stretching his arms after arranging his things, Jotaro heard a knock at the door. Opening it, he was greeted by Yaga holding a bag.

"Don't be surprised," Yaga said, handing it over. "It's your school uniform and new id. Classes start in half an hour, so don't be late."

Jotaro nodded and took the bag without a word. Closing the door, he examined the uniform. It had been modified to suit his style, as he had requested. The outfit resembled the one Jotaro wore in Part 3: a long, dark trench coat, double belts, and a hat. However, he had to abandon the gold chain due to school rules.

An hour later, Jotaro put on his new uniform and headed to class. Opening the door, he was met with four people already inside: Yaga, Gojo, Suguru, and Shoko.

"You're late," Yaga said, clearly annoyed.

"My bad, I couldn't find the class" Jotaro replied nonchalantly, taking a seat without further explanation.

"Finally decided to show up?" Gojo teased with a grin.

Yaga cleared his throat, bringing the room to order. "Now that everyone's here, I have an assignment. Suguru, I want you to test Jotaro's capabilities and provide me with a detailed report. Satoru, observe his technique and give your opinion too. Shoko, if either of them gets hurt, make sure to heal them. That's all."

Without another word, Yaga left the room.

"Well, you heard him!" Gojo said, standing up. Suguru followed suit and approached Jotaro, extending a hand.

"I've heard about you from Satoru. My name's Suguru," he introduced himself.

"Jotaro. Call me JoJo," Jotaro replied, shaking Suguru's hand. He observed Suguru closely, dark circles under his eyes, a tired expression, and a frail-looking frame as if he hadn't eaten properly in days.

'So it's already happened,' Jotaro thought, concluding that the Toji incident must have taken place recently. Suguru's condition confirmed it hadn't been long since.

"I'm Shoko," the only girl in the group said, stepping forward.

Jotaro gave her a simple nod. "Let's get along."

"Why do I feel like I'm being left out?" Gojo sighed dramatically from behind them.
