The vampires apparently have organized in secret to suck off the living life out of the city. From there have gathered the fact of a secret underground facility infested with the vilest of vampires.

In the command of Cristopher Hans, they launch an attack after preparing and planning for the possibility of the situation. In that sense, they went and look underground.
