Chapter 1: Is it wrong to transmigrate as the chosen one?
Fera walked briskly, her boots tapping against the polished floors as she navigated the ship's labyrinthine halls. Average in appearance, she wasn't the kind of person to stand out at first glance, but her energy—sharp and untamed—gave her presence. The streaks of jagged designs on her patched punk clothes clashed against the uniform sea of colonist jumpsuits. She flashed casual grins at strangers, throwing waves like she owned the place. Visibility was power, she reminded herself. The more they know me, the more relevant I might become.
But beneath her confident steps and easy smiles, a storm churned.
-What the hell am I going to do here...?
The thought nagged her, clawing at her confidence like an itch she couldn't scratch. Back on Earth, her life had been a stable example of privilege and expectation—now replaced by endless metal corridors, albeit fancy, but it had countless faces she'd never seen before. She didn't belong here, not with the starry-eyed teenagers who'd already raced off to the recreational facilities as soon as the assembly had been delayed.
"General Assembly postponed by 30 minutes," the intercom had announced earlier, sending groups of kids cheering toward the artificial parks, game rooms, and simulated entertainment hubs. Fera, on the other hand, didn't know where to go.
So, she wandered.
For the next half hour, Fera mapped out sections of the ship she hadn't seen yet, twisting her path through quiet halls and observation decks where colonists gathered in hushed awe. Every so often, she'd stop to stare through reinforced glass windows at the stars beyond—so many of them, endless and cold, scattered across a pitch-black abyss.
Eventually, she found herself in one of the ship's artificial parks—a sprawling illusion of green, with simulated sunlight casting faint warmth on the grass. It was surreal how real it looked, like stepping back onto Earth for the briefest moment. A few families sat together on picnic blankets. Others strolled through paths lined with planted trees. Fera didn't sit; she just stood near the edge, hands shoved into her jacket pockets as her gaze wandered.
The park's dome ceiling arched above her, its transparency revealing the void of space just beyond—quiet, endless, empty. She stared for a long while, her vibrant energy dimming as her internal storm swirled again. Whilst playing with her hair she felt existential dread.
DONG… DONG… DONG…
The artificial bell snapped her out of her trance. Conversations hushed. Footsteps slowed.
Then the ship's PA system crackled to life.
"Ladies and gentlemen, may I have your attention please…"
Fera stiffened, her attention snapping to one of the nearby speakers as it crackled to life. Whatever this announcement was about, it felt like the real beginning of something. Maybe, just maybe, she'd finally find something worth doing.
"Please report to the nearest General Assembly Hall. Signals will illuminate on the floor, walls, and ceiling to guide you to the closest one. Thank you…"
The automated voice trailed off, and Fera sighed, standing up. She headed toward the nearest assembly hall, following the glowing indicators that pulsed gently with direction.
-Guess I might as well see what this is all about, she thought. Could be useful to figure out the trip's itinerary—and then I can plan my next move to find my next experiment.
Still, she couldn't help but second-guess herself as her footsteps echoed down the sleek, metallic corridor. I should've just gone to the recreational facility or stayed in my room to watch something. But no, here I am. Then again, this ship is pretty sweet… and there were a few lookers wandering around. Maybe she should've approached them, but what then?
Her mind drifted to meaningless thoughts as she walked, her pace unhurried. There was nothing pressing to focus on anyway—at least, nothing she cared about. Fera, freshly sixteen, had boarded this massive cruise ship alone, without a single family member in tow. That's exactly how she wanted it. Her family had always given her what she wanted, no matter what. This time was no different.
Even when she asked for a butler, who she then proceeded to annoy and torture in a variety of horrifying ways, they turned a blind eye. She was, in a sense, terribly mediocre, and it showed in her behaviour. She was only fortunate to be born into such a wealthy family; else, she would be a loser, sadistic, self-proclaimed psychopath, and hypocritically shallow in her actions. In actuality, she is just an edgelord with troubles caused by not having any genuine friends and reading too much and turning it edgy like Overlord, Berserk, and so on. However, none of that really mattered because she was adored by her family just for being family, and she was always to herself, so it was not like anyone had to deal with her plus she never caused any issues...and is rich. (A/N: so unlike you reading this at least shes worth something)
...
The General Assembly was a well-oiled machine—an hour-long, high-tech walkthrough of the ship, showcasing every futuristic corner and luxury feature. The high-end cinema was packed with passengers, all lounging in sleek, ergonomic chairs with touch-sensitive screens embedded into the armrests. The room itself radiated a quiet, polished elegance; the walls glowed with ambient lighting, and the projection behind the presenter cycled through breathtaking visuals of the ship's many features. It was the kind of luxury that made even the most seasoned travelers sit up and take notice, their awed gasps filling the air.
The presenter, a tall, confident Black man with a deep, resonant voice, stood center stage, engaging the audience. His accent was smooth, a cadence of elegance that could only be described as authoritative. He was well-groomed, every detail of his outfit sharp and intentional, exuding an air of professionalism.
As he wrapped up the overview, he opened the floor to questions.
A woman raised her hand. "How many people are we expecting on this journey to Proxima Centauri?"
"Roughly three hundred," the presenter answered with a smile. "But that number will grow as more ships join the fleet in coming months."
Another man, who seemed a bit too eager, shot his hand up. "And if I wanted to get an upgrade? Like, VIP status?" His voice was tinged with hope, but there was something about his question that made the room uncomfortable. People shifted in their seats, glancing at one another. The presenter hesitated for a moment, then answered smoothly.
"Upgrades are available, yes. You'd need to contact customer service, and they'll help with any preferences you may have. We pride ourselves on catering to every need."
-Smooth. Maybe a little too smooth. No hiccups this entire feeling is dull. I need more.
The presenter cleared his throat, clearly aware of the uncomfortable vibe, and transitioned back to the presentation. "To give you a chance to truly experience this ship, we offer a unique feature—the hibernation chamber."
He gestured toward a sleek visual of a pristine chamber with a futuristic design. "For those of you who prefer to sleep through the journey, we provide this option. Simply enter the chamber, activate the program, and you can rest until we reach our destination. No waking up to the noise, the crowds, or the chaos. Pure, uninterrupted slumber."
The crowd seemed intrigued by the idea of hibernating their way through the trip, the mood lightening just slightly. But the presenter wasn't done.
"For those looking to truly invest in the future," he continued, "we have a premium option— Virtual World Simulation access. For an additional cost, you can try out our fully immersive experience, but it's not just for leisure. The fees fund future colonists on Earth—people preparing to begin new lives on distant planets."
The presenter's tone shifted, growing a touch more engaging, his hands moving with confidence. "This is where it gets exciting: you'll have access to unlimited worlds—everything from serene landscapes to complex, interactive environments. Not only will you explore, but you'll actively participate in the world's creation. You can personalize every inch of it, with real characters that respond to your every action. By the way, ladies and gentleman when I say real I truly mean it, it is indistinguishable from reality! It's being teleported from a whole new world, it is totally your world with unlimited privacy, and to top it all off you can connect your experience with other colonists if you so choose!" The presenter got even more excited as he noticed everyone in attendance slowly becoming more interested in what he said and for good reason.
The lights dimmed slightly, and images of otherworldly environments flickered across the screen—alien jungles, towering futuristic cities, and mystical lands filled with dragons and warriors.
Fera crossed her arms, disbelief flaring inside her. No way… Anything I want? A fantasy world?
"Whatever you can imagine… it can be real!" The presenter's voice rang out.
Her heart raced. Without a second thought, she tapped into the Starlink Network, fingers flying to buy it by immediately texting her parents and servants to just buy her the VWS package on her accommodations package.
"Unicorns!"
Catgirls, she thought, a thrill running through her. This is real…
"Dragons!"
Wolfgirls…Her pulse quickened, the world blurring around her. Every story, every fantasy was suddenly real. She could live them all. She squeezed her thighs rubbing them together and getting wet imagining all the porn, hentai, and more that she read coming to life right before her eyes. The man sitting next to her, an elderly man was in utter confusion watching this young girl next to him with her head down and hair covering her face rubbing her thighs together. If he didn't know better he'd think she had a vibrator inside her ass on maximum..
"Anything from any myth you know!"
Every fantasy, every world I've ever wanted… It's all mine. Her hands shook as the weight of it settled in. This isn't a game. It's real.
Suddenly, a slight vibration from her wrist snapped her back to reality—her phone buzzed with a message from the Starlink Network. Fera's eyes darted to it, and her mother's long paragraph filled the screen. She skimmed through it quickly—too excited to care—then her gaze locked on the bold text at the bottom: PAYMENT APPROVED.
I got it… I fucking got it. Oh my god.
Without thinking, Fera leapt to her feet, her heart racing, and threw her arms into the air. Her voice burst out in uncontained elation. "LET'S FUCKING GOOOOOO!"
The whole room fell silent. Conversations paused as eyes turned to her, every face a mix of surprise and confusion. Fera froze for a moment, her hands still raised. She had not expected the full force of her excitement to rip through the room. The presenter, clearly taken aback, cleared his throat.
"Are you… okay?" he asked slowly, his voice hesitating as he scanned the crowd, unsure how to handle her outburst. The moment felt odd, like she had just ripped through the tense calm of the room.
Fera had just broke into the meanest electro shuffle (the 2066 equivalent of hitting the boogie), a celebration that quickly turned into an awkward spectacle when she realized all eyes were on her. Heat flooded her face, and she hid behind her hand, biting her lip to mask the shame. Pretending everything was fine was her specialty.
"Uh, sir, where are the Hibernation chambers?" she asked, forcing her voice steady.
The presenter, still stunned, answered, "Everyone has one in their accommodations, except those in the Studio rooms."
Fera nodded, already over the awkwardness. "Anything else?"
"I was about to explain safety procedures—"
"Yeah, fuck all that," she interrupted, her voice clearly annoyed, and she had enough of all this assembly shit anyway. Bolting out of her seat, hitting a few legs as she ran past people in her row due to her carelessness, they voiced their frustation, but she was one track minded towards charging for the exit, her mind still buzzing with the hologram's images.
Fera's reaction to the VWS sent the room into a frenzy. Literature nerds and media junkies stampeded to install it in their hibernation pods like their lives depended on it. The presenter? who cares. The assembly? Irrelevant. Isekai to a new world? All-in. And so, the momentum of the presenter land-slided in Fera's favor.
Fera? Already halfway to the exit. But the doors were locked, and a clipboard-wielding staffer was barreling toward her, spouting something about mandatory safety briefings.
Fera didn't care. Cat-girl acquisition was non-negotiable.
"Hey, you can't skip the safety talk!" a staff member called, rushing to stop her from getting out right now.
This was an intimidating obstacle given the fact that the guy was clearly faster and stuff. She thought of a solution instantly. Without hesitation, she flashed her boobs at the guy causing him to be stunned and giving her enough time to rush outside.
She hit the nearest elevator and spammed the button for the top floor, grinning as the elevator began to move. And Fera danced with all her might .
***Timeskip to her reaching her room***
Fera sent her mother a quick, sarcastic thank-you, then stepped into the hibernation chamber. She positioned herself perfectly, limbs just so, and let the brain nodes connect to her scalp. The chamber buzzed to life, first loud, then soft as it ran diagnostics. She barely noticed before sleep hit.
When she "woke up," or thought she did, the world was a blank, white void. She rolled her eyes. Typical. She started running, but no matter how fast she went, the empty space stretched on forever.
"Oh, great, a glitch. Just what I needed," Fera grumbled.
The system responded instantly, flashing an interface in her face. Clearly, it was not a glitch.
『Loading Complete』
『Welcome to VWS』
Fera smirked, impressed. The white void wasn't so bad if it came with this. She could feel her body—real and solid, unlike some cheap VR back home. She could feel everything, like her toes wiggling.
She skimmed the interface quickly, bored already, before selecting the home menu. Then her eyes lit up.
『Entertainment』
She mentally selected it, and suddenly, the void shifted. Fantasy worlds spun around her like she was zooming over them on Google Maps. A couple of taps later, and the whole thing morphed into a vibrant, living anime landscape.
She immediately went for Anime and scrolled through the options.
Hunter X Hunter: A kid with a dream to find his dad. Brutal battles and mind games along the way.
Akame Ga Kill: A group of assassins toppling an evil empire. Expect blood and betrayal.
Naruto: A young ninja aiming to be the strongest, even if it means blowing up half his village.
Re:Zero: Guy gets stuck in a fantasy world and dies a lot. Each time, he comes back, learning more.
Chainsaw Man: A devil hunter with a chainsaw face. Pure chaos.
Fera grinned. Classics. They'd never get old.
(A/N: It's the year 2066 so all of that are classics by this point)
"I can't choose, they're all peak," she muttered, flicking through more options. Classic Fera—too many choices and still stuck.
The AI noticed her hesitation.
『Notice: You may switch worlds at any time. Please choose.』
She gave an exaggerated mock salute to the AI. Thanks for nothing, she thought. She already knew that it's not like she's gonna be trapped inside of there like it's Sword Art Online or something. The system filtered through more results, adjusting them to her preferences: magic, chaos, power, and all things fun.
New options popped up:
Berserk: A grim tale of vengeance, filled with brutal survival and loss...will make you suffer.
Overlord: Guy gets stuck in a game world, becomes HIM, is lucky, and is a skeleton.
Danmachi: Cute rabbit with daggers claims to pick up girls in a dungeon, but really doesn't.
Fera chuckled. "Should've known it would be this hard to pick." With fifteen more options, it was too much. But she couldn't help herself. This was everything she ever wanted, just waiting for her to dive in.
Here's a faster-paced, snarky rewrite of your scene, showcasing Fera's personality and keeping the excitement up:
Fera squinted her eyes at the endless options before her and—on a whim—picked Danmachi. Seemed easy enough to start there, plus the characters weren't too hard to deal with. She could always bail if it got unlikable.
(A/N: If I woke up in Berserk, I'd probably just kill myself dude)
The interface shifted, flashing more details about Danmachi, but Fera wasn't here for the lore. She was here to play. The prompt appeared:
『You have chosen Danmachi. Are you sure?』
『Yes or No』
"Might as well," she muttered, hitting Yes without hesitation.
『To begin your journey, please create a character or select an existing character from Danmachi.』
Fera grinned, tapping her chin as she considered. She could totally be Bell. He easily made a harem, after all. But then again, it was kind of pathetic. The guy never even tried anyone! His obsession with Ais? Ugh, get a grip, Bell. There were so many interesting girls around him like Ryuu who still are better bets..even Lili, but Ais? That just felt forced to Fera.
『Creating a new character』
The screen flashed with options: biological details, occupation, skills, and more. Fera's mind raced. She was going to make the most goddess-like character ever. No room for mediocrity.
Perfect. I'm going to be drop-dead gorgeous—no one will be able to resist me. She hated the thought of being unlikable and wanted to win anyone over just with the fact alone that she has the perfect body there. (Image)
She spent way too much time tweaking the details to make her character look perfect—every inch of it had to scream divine beauty. Then she smirked. What if she went for being a femboy instead? Couldn't hurt to keep things interesting, right? Plus, that way, if she got bored, she could totally impregnate one of the girls and dip.
-Doesn't matter, but being a boy is more appealing in terms of trying something new. More pressingly, should I... just genderbend Bell? She thought for a second long and hard till her brain literally just began hurting. Nah, he's fine as is. Besides, if I messed with him, the whole plot would fall apart and I'm not sure if I want to be apart of it.
(A/N: Genderbent Bell is best girl...whats her name...Belko?)
Fera slapped in all the details such as the abilities the system needed to generate a story for him, she was careful not to put in too much as she wants to be surprised, but ensured she did the bare minimum to be well-off early on because hey, reputation and status mattered in Danmachi, right? She was not about to step into that world as some random nobody.
(A/N: Skills, Magic, Development Abilities, Status, and general profile information of the OC she created to enter Danmachi as will be at the end of the chapter as a character profile. dnt wanna put allat here)
『Are you ready to begin your adventure: Yes or No』
Fera reviewed the profile again, meticulously combing through every detail like a jeweler inspecting a diamond. Every stat, every skill, every item checked and rechecked. She was relentless, ensuring her creation was flawless—no room for error. Toward the end, though, her obsessive precision gave way to pragmatism. "He's well-off physically," she muttered, satisfied, "and loaded enough to survive Orario's economy if things get dicey."
Still, her finger hesitated over the final option. This was it—the decision. The one that would fling her into another world entirely. A slow, heavy breath steadied her nerves, and she let it out as if releasing all doubt with it.
[Yes]
The moment her choice registered, a sharp snap tore through her mind, like a string pulled too tight suddenly breaking. She gasped, the sensation jarring but not painful—just… disorienting. Before she could process the feeling, the world around her dissolved, pixel by pixel, until she stood not too far from the gates of Orario.
It was instantaneous yet surreal, as if reality itself blinked and rearranged her position. The towering walls stretched endlessly upward, an overwhelming mix of grandeur and intimidation. Her hand instinctively clutched her new belongings, the weight of her freshly spawned wealth a reassuring anchor. She exhaled slowly, a frown on her face as she absorbs the beauty of the lush green around her.
"I'll tear you apart, Danmachi..."

Prowess
Enhanced Senses: The user's senses are greatly heightened, with superior eyesight being the most notable. Their hearing, smell, touch, and taste are also improved, allowing for increased awareness and faster reactions in combat. After acquiring his falna all of his senses became much sharper than those of a normal person, with his eyesight still being particularly superior to the rest. His senses further improved with each subsequent rank up.
Temporal Perception: This ability accelerates the user's perception of time, allowing them to react and process movements faster than normal. Enhanced kinetic vision enables them to track fast movements effortlessly.
Chant Connection: A technique that only Riveria is able to use, originally. Chant connection enables him to change the strength of her magic based on the chant length and mind usage. His magic is separated into three groups of magic based on the type and chant length, with each magic in a group referred to as a level. Basically, making the original spell into three separate parts of varying degrees of power and it appears as three separate spells.
Enhanced Metabolism: Has the toughest stomach in the entire series. He can eat monsters, inorganic matter, and dead people without any ill effect and would be able to eat even Syr's lunches. Additionally, he possesses a high resistance to alcohol that allowing him to drink even more than Gareth, if it ever came to such a scenario.
Hieroglyphs: Can comprehend the sacred text which is otherwise known as the language of the Gods.
Concurrent Chanting (並行詠唱): A high-level technique involving casting magic while fighting or moving around. Its difficulty is likened to dealing with a bomb with both hands while fighting due to the chance of failing a chant or not being able to control their own magic power. Skill at using concurrent chanting depends on how much experience the user has with it.
Superhuman Human Physiology: Even without Falna, he was born gifted to the point where his body could grow incredibly dense muscle, maintain it's integrity, he regenerates quickly, and is generally above peak human even without needing to train. He does possess incredibly high affinity for magic which is typically only seen in Elves and has a lifespan comparable to that of Elves. Additionally, has a nigh-endless libido combined with superior with superior reproductive organs.
==================================================================Magic
Gate of Heaven (天の扉): The Gate of Heaven is a ceremony that consists of placing six Great Spirits around a gigantic magic circle so that through the Spirits they invoke the power of Heaven, creating a pillar of massive destruction whose power approaches that of Arcanum. The magic circle itself is daunting, being slightly larger than Central Park, with its scope being large enough to blow away all of Orario and the surrounding area. Due to its high destructive potential, the chant is extremely long, requiring a few days to be completed. Although killing one of the Spirits delays the ritual, it is not enough to end it, since another Spirit can continue the chant where the other left off, so it is necessary to kill all six Spirits to prevent it from taking place. Despite their nature, the Demi Spirits are able to perform the spell due to the original body consuming a Great Spirit.
Anima Vestra: Is a lengthy magic that allows the caster to control individuals by branding them and manipulating their fate to align with their deepest desires—though always at a tragic cost. The brand subtly guides the target's actions, fulfilling their wishes in ways that ultimately lead to misfortune. While the caster initially bears the toll of this power, they can shift the burden onto the target by convincing them to willingly submit to the pact. This submission not only binds the target's fate but also forces them to pay a sacrifice shaped by their imagination and desires. The magic manifests as spectral chains symbolizing the target's submission, and the caster uses a complex ritual to define the terms of the pact, ensuring the target's devotion while twisting their wishes to serve the caster's goals.
Arcane Faerie: A complex magic allows the user to assume a high-level spirit form, akin to exalted beings from ancient times, granting them an extraordinary increase in magical power, as well as the ability to perform chant-less magic, accelerated regeneration, enhanced physical prowess, and a deeper affinity for both magic and curses. The user gains the ability to perform multiple chants at once, chant connection, and comprehend ancient hieroglyphs, all while experiencing a heightened mental state. However, the transformation comes at a great cost of the magic consuming an enormous amount of mana, and since the user is not a true spirit, the transformation is temporary, meaning they can only maintain it for limited periods before exhausting their energy or losing control.
==================================================================Skill
All-Flesh: An extraordinarily rare skill that activates only when the user feels love for their target, forming soul-link that bridges emotions and physical sensations. While the user remains the dominant force in the bond, able to alter feelings, copy select traits, magic, skills, development abilities, others or even the target's appearance, the essence of the soul itself limits the transfer. The soul resists excessive extraction to maintain integrity, allowing only a partial transfer of abilities to avoid harm. This bond requires time, emotions, and genuine love or their twisted desires could lead to distorted copying or worse. Base stats like strength, agility, and excelia cannot be copied, as they are tied to individual growth. The more targets the user forms a bond with, the weaker the harmony, efficiency, and potential of the skill becomes, causing the transfer to diminish and the connection to weaken. As a bonus effect, it increases in proficiency with every attempt to grow closer to the target.
Veil of the Traveler: A skill that prevents any information about the user from being revealed through skills, abilities, or supernatural means without the user's explicit consent. This includes concealing details during status upgrades from the Power of the Gods. Additionally, it conceals the user from detection tools, magic, and abilities such as clairvoyance or distant observation devices like Freya's orb. While it does not make the user invisible in direct encounters, it ensures they remain undetectable from afar unless they choose otherwise. Bonus effect, it increases the effects of the user's concealment and stealth related abilities.
==================================================================Development Abilities Explained;
Fate: It allows the user to examine their own and others' fates, perceiving key elements of their destinies, such as their potential for love, wealth, success, or demise. At lower levels, the user may only sense vague impressions, such as a general direction of their future. However, as the ability levels up, it becomes more detailed, providing specific insights into outcomes, such as the likelihood of death, character development, and even a person's lifespan. With mastery, the ability grants the user an instinctive or active sense of fate, allowing them to discern whether someone is destined for good or evil, wealth or poverty, or other significant life events. This ability does not control fate but offers the user a way to understand and predict it, acting as both a tool for guidance and a heavy burden, as the user becomes aware of the inevitable paths ahead. Additionally, the user's eyes produce faint, shifting hues that change according to their willpower, with the color becoming more pronounced as their desire strengthens
==================================================================
Equipment
Unearthed of Malina: It is his unique yet double-edged opportunity to increases his overall magical potential. This cursed, living artifact feeds on the user's mana as part of its natural symbiotic behavior, offering greater magic stat growth in exchange for potential risks, including a condition known as mind down—a dangerous overextension of mental and magical reserves.
