Into the healing farming game

CH 6 - Day 6 of Spring

6th Day of Spring

It was a refreshing morning after a long time.

The sensation of moderately warming the brain neatly awakens the tired body and mind.

Fishing has reached intermediate level 2.

The truly fortunate thing is that there was no intense pain when moving up from intermediate level.

In other words, the moderate heat and expanding sensation made the morning pleasant.

Since logging and mining were not done simultaneously, that was all the day’s results amounted to.

The fishing tempo was faster, and there was also the pleasure of opening treasure chests, so I didn’t have time to accumulate experience points simultaneously.

The speed at which I level up is slowing down, but I would like to progress at least one level per day.

This amount of results was achieved in just one week.

Still, given my experience playing games, I think it’s relatively fast.

Starting today, we finally begin farming properly.

The size of 100 seeds in the game may not be considered very large, but it is not very small either.

It is a moderately decent level.

Considering the beginning, it was a fairly decent amount of farming.

I felt strange when I realized that all 100 seeds were the size of a handful that could be held in one hand.

It was smaller than expected.

The gap between games and reality occasionally appears, but it still surprises me.

Working at work is also different in that respect.

I vaguely know that fishing isn’t just about dropping a float into the water and pulling it up with force.

Rather than a simple repetitive labor of pulling in a fish in a matter of seconds, I remember it as the culmination of effort to catch a fish without losing its strength over a long period.

In that respect, I don’t understand why logging and mining require hundreds of repetitive actions.

I really felt like I was going to die on the first day.

It was strangely unrealistic and realistic.

Fortunately for me, farming has a similar feel to fishing.

It has a sense of a game, a job that is strangely unrealistic, somewhere between unreality and reality.

Well, if farming shared the same sensibilities as logging or mining, I might have found a slightly different path.

If you don’t pay any attention to the crops and just water them, they will grow well.

Based on the setting, I remember seeing a glimpse of the green energy of life maintained by magic flowing through Starwind Valley.

Maintenance of fish numbers, overproduction of forage, growth rates of crops, and other aspects like trees are all maintained at abnormally high levels.

Long live the Valley of Starwind.

Okay.

It would be nice if farming was easy.

After roughly plowing the ground with a hoe a few times, there is enough space for about 100 seeds to grow.

I didn’t know how big the growing crops would be, so even though the spacing was generous, they were quite small.

Even just 600 to 700 items per game was a lot of work that required painstaking effort all morning and afternoon.

I felt like I could finish my work here if I worked on a few thousand items all morning.

It was a good thing for me.

Even without a system like automation, the amount of money earned has increased several times compared to before.

“Hm…”

I overlooked the seeds because they were small, but my back ached slightly as I tried to plant them one by one in the ground that had been plowed with a hoe.

There was enough space to expand to hundreds or thousands, but it was a self-evident fact that if that happened, my back would be very sore.

Still, the work was very fast.  If you had a little trouble in the beginning, watering them wasn’t a problem.

In the end, it’s just a matter of planting the seeds. Aside from that, the job was simpler than I thought.

All you have to do is draw water from near your house and spray it to keep it moist once a day.

I don’t know if this will actually grow well, but 20 water parsley and sugar carrots grew well like that.

It’s like having your own sample.

[Musk Melon]

Selling price: 1 gold 80 silver

Maximum harvest number: 3

Growth period: 13 days

The UI works flawlessly.

Among the seeds purchased, musk melon, which was exchanged for 5 seeds for 4 dream coins, was the most expensive seed.

It was a decent crop that earned more than 5 gold per seed if the maximum 3 harvest expectations were met.

Through simple calculations, you can achieve 5 times the efficiency.

Likewise, if you steadily raise your farming level like this, you will reach intermediate level, high-quality crops will appear, and a virtuous cycle of money making money will be created.

Today, as always, I should go fishing in my spare time, but I decided to take a look around the village first.

They were brought into the world with no English language skills and tried desperately to survive, but even though they received help along the way, in the end, people live side by side with each other.

Even if one day I see the true ending and leave, it’s a bit strange to live without any relationships at all.

Some people are already in a relationship.

Anne gave me the water of life on the first day.

Maxim gave me his precious fishing rod.

Evangeline gave me a lantern for navigation.

From this perspective, I realize I had only been receiving.

I didn’t think I was a conscienceless person, but looking back, I realize I was more so than I expected.

“Uhm…”

Isn’t there a tradition in Korea of handing out gifts to the locals when you moved to a village?

I’d like to give a gift with that intention, but I’m currently unable to do so.

It is not known exactly how many people there are in the village, and it is not easy to obtain large quantities of the same product.

The only thing I’m good at is fishing.

There’s seems to be something wrong with handing out a fish. It would be better to just carry around the finished dish and give it to them.

Since I’ve never cooked before, I didn’t know what to do, so I decided to just show my face.

I thought it would be better to leave around 9 or 10, so I cleaned up the yard for the first time in a long time.

Half-dug trees and stones.

I continued to clean up the yard where the miserable traces of the first day remained.

Still, it didn’t feel too hard, perhaps because I had some stamina and skills.

Because I was sweating profusely, I wiped the sweat from my forehead with my sleeve.

Drop-drop.

It felt good to hear the clean sound of the wood being broken and to hear the wood being put into the bag and distributed after it was properly broken.

Although it is said to be useless right away, when it comes to interior design and construction, even if you buy and use it, what you lack are basic materials, so slowly accumulating building materials like this was absolutely necessary.

While working moderately, I checked the time and saw that it was around 9 o’clock, so I went home to take a shower.

After washing up and coming out, the backlog of housework was staring at me.

Towels and clothes. Since I have never made anything or created any trash, all I have left is damp laundry waiting for me.

The towels and clothes in the small closet were used one by one because I came home soaked with sweat every day.

So there wasn’t much left.

After doing nothing for about a week and just consuming what I had accumulated, my closet was empty before I knew it.

The problem is laundry.

There is no washing machine, no detergent, no washboard or anything like that.

Since there is soap, I just step on it roughly and did my laundry clumsily.

The past of putting laundry in the washing machine with a click and then having it buzz for you is no more.

Only physical labor remains.

“Ah…”

As I squeezed out all the water, I could see the small muscles that had attached themselves stretching out my arms.

It wasn’t something that could be attributed to only a few days of work.

In a way, this is probably one of the realistic benefits of skill level. Not readily apparent on the outside.

It was a welcome reward.

After finishing the laundry, I realized too late that there was no clothes drying rack.

After looking around the house, I took the dripping laundry outside.

The sun was shining, so I roughly hung my clothes on the railing of the house.

Okay…

What kind of laundry drying rack is this?

There was no need to worry about dust getting on it. Anyway, if you go out and come back, you’ll be covered in sweat and dust, so you won’t be able to wear it the next day.

With a refreshed body, I headed towards the village.

It was a familiar neighborhood.

It was a little bigger than before and would have been worth a visit as long as it didn’t require more movement.

From the beginning, it was a small, tight-knit place.

Arthur, the village head.

Decker with a scar.

Abel runs the only store in town.

Anne’s best friend Alice.

Luna who sings well.

I clearly remember it as a small town, but as I wandered around, the morning had already passed.

Just the number of times they shake hands and bow their heads is enough to show their spirit.

I never thought there would be over a hundred people living in this town.

I remember it was only about 20 to 30 in the game.

The number of people I don’t know has increased, and the people I know have mostly become beautiful and handsome.

It was a case where reality correction was done very well, and it was a pleasant situation to encounter.

What, Is there anything bad about looking at something handsome and pretty?

I couldn’t remember many of the characters, but some I encountered frequently in the game came to mind well.

I was grateful that everyone welcomed me warmly.

Without doing anything special, I glanced around the village and walked leisurely to the lake.

It’s good to do other things when you have free time, but you must consistently do what needs to be done.

Fishing calls to me.

Perhaps, I will continue to do this during the spring period.

When the sun is shining brightly, the unwelcome hot air rushes us down an unfamiliar path that blocks our respiratory tract.

As wet beads of sweat began to form on my back, the cool forest air cooled my hot body.

This is why I have no choice but to like lakes more than beaches.

I can’t help but feel reluctant about fishing under direct sunlight.

Even more so in the summer.

Even the warm sunlight of spring is a burden.

Now, with a gesture that seems so familiar that it has become a habit, I throw the bobber onto the shore of the lake.

I like it even more because it is a place with trees blocking the sunlight.

Shade is best.

The trees and stones I cut down have left some places empty, but before I know it, green life is raising its head from the ground.

This is probably why the rapid cycle of life continues even if I keep working without stopping.

It was at moments like these that I could physically feel that something magical was accelerating growth.

The feeling of seeing a small seedling grow in an empty place in just a few days is truly strange.

***

“Tsk tsk.”

It’s not difficult, but the sound effect continues steadily.

You can guess the type of fish being caught by the amount of sound effect and enjoy countless hours of fun opening treasure chests.

When the color of the sky changes, I secretly check my physical condition.

As long as you have enough stamina, staying up all night is no problem.

In the morning, it is to my advantage to squeeze in as much time as possible while my body is amazingly restored to its original state.

Just because it’s profitable doesn’t mean you can split wood and stone for hours.

No, you are right in saying that you cannot do that. I might just die because it’s boring and wasn’t fun.

Maybe it was because the trauma of the first day.

In that sense, fishing can be done all night long.  It was moderately fun, and there was also the added bonus of a treasure chest.

As long as the UI tells the time.

Even though only the faint moonlight shines in the dark blue night sky.

I turn on the orange lantern and continue fishing in the scarlet-colored lake.

Night fishing had its own charm.

Since visual stimulation is blocked, other senses, including hearing, become acutely tense.

When I scooped up the fishing rod, I could even feel the sound of the waves moving and swaying.

Even though the types of fish during the day and night are not significantly different

The night fish in Starwind Valley (real version) where I live, which partly reflects the nature of the game, were quite different.

The type of bag remains constant during the day, but slowly increases at night.

The reason why the color difference makes you smile is probably because the price of the night fish is a little higher.

“Eww…”

My arm, which is constantly pulled, throbs and goes numb every minute.

Even though I was at an intermediate level or something, my arms had already lost some of the feeling after consistently catching fish without a break.

It was like that every time, but there was another reason why I lost stamina so quickly, especially at night.

The reason was the special nature of the night and the high value and difficulty of night fish.

When my forearm shakes uncontrollably, only then do I pick up a fishing rod with a subtle mix of silver and scarlet lights and put it in my bag.

The cool wind blowing at night was enough to cool the ground that had been hot the previous afternoon.

The temperature, which felt cold rather than refreshing, was just the right temperature for my heated body.

I looked at the time and it was already 11:30 PM.

I couldn’t keep my promise to stay until dawn due to lack of stamina, but once I got home, washed up, and lay down, it was enough to make it to dawn the next day.

If I skip a day without sleeping, will I still enter a dream-like state? .

Ah…

I tried to shake off my dizzying imagination and quicken my steps.

The reason my walking changed to something closer to running was that I didn’t want to feel the dizzying sensation that I would experience if my imagination came true.

I quickly arrived at the house, collected my dry, stiff clothes from outside, and went inside.

The unique scent of sunlight was strangely pleasant, but it was covered in a lot of things, so I put it away in the closet.

As always, I washed up, came out, laid down on the bed, and it was natural for me to quickly lose consciousness.

[Mods Open]

[Tools]

[Dream Coin]

“Whoa…”

A long sigh fully expressed the feeling of relief.

Once you fall asleep, dreams appear.

With my heart pounding, I went shopping in good spirits.

In a way, this system was like my own small department store.

270 gold obtained from fishing.

Food and washboard.

Except for laundry soap and a few cooking spices, I went all-in on seeds.

I wanted to buy all the seeds, but I also had to maintain enough humanness to be able to live a basic life.

I can’t go around wearing sweaty clothes all the time and smelling bad.

Still, it wasn’t enough to be extravagant, so we kept to the bare minimum and turned to seeds for everything else.

It was an investment.

This is how investing is done.

Just do it and then move on
