Mike was not in a hurry to retract the metal spider silk. Instead, he continued releasing the silk from his body, spreading it from the battlefield's center into the surrounding urban areas, stretching for hundreds and even thousands of meters.
These metallic spider silks intertwined into a vast web, quietly covering half the city.
With his left hand, Mike gathered countless threads together. He closed his eyes, and his spider sense extended outward along the silk threads in his grasp.
Ten meters, one hundred meters, one thousand meters!
Everything within a kilometer was exposed to his spider sense—especially the alien beings composed of metal!
"Goodbye." Mike whispered, tightening his grip on the metal silk as green magnetic energy surged out along the threads.
It was like a grand trial.
Crack! Crack! Crack!
Across the city, alien machines succumbed to the overwhelming magnetic force, collapsing lifelessly. In mere moments, hundreds of alien mechanical beings were neutralized.
With a casual wave, Mike retracted the severed silk back into his hand.
Controlling metal was already an incredible feat, but with his dual powers of magnetism and his spider abilities, Mike elevated it to another level.
Unlike others who could manipulate existing metals, Mike's enhanced spider powers allowed him to create metal by metallizing his spider silk. His control was unmatched—precise, elegant, and devastating.
"I've about figured out my abilities."
Mike opened his ice-blue eyes and, with a flick of his wrist, shot a metal spider silk line into the heart of the city's battle zone.
The thread, imbued with magnetic energy, stretched miles long and lodged itself into Stark Industries' headquarters.
Using his spider sense as a guide, Mike quickly found his target.
On the twelfth floor of an office building near Stark Industries, Gwen was struggling. Breathing heavily, she punched away two alien machines. But more swarmed in through the shattered windows, their numbers seemingly endless.
While not especially powerful individually, the alien robots were relentless, born only to fight and kill. Their sheer volume was overwhelming, and Gwen was nearing her limit.
Then, suddenly, the alien machines froze.
Before Gwen could react, smooth cracks appeared across their metallic bodies.
Ding! Ding! Ding!
The alien machines disintegrated into pieces, scattering across the floor.
"Spider silk?" Gwen muttered in disbelief, noticing fine threads slicing through the machines like knives.
One surviving robot quivered as its metal frame trembled in terror—a machine, afraid!
But Gwen wasn't scared; instead, she felt a surge of relief and excitement. She already knew who was coming.
Mike landed on the thirteenth floor with a flash of silver lightning.
With a casual wave of his hand, the last robot disintegrated into fragments, its remains embedding deeply into the walls.
Turning to the dazed Gwen in the room, Mike said with a teasing smirk, "You okay, Little Spider trying to save the world?"
"Of course I'm okay!"
Gwen's heart raced, her cheeks heating beneath her mask. Her body, attuned to her spider abilities, had an inexplicable urge to lean closer to Mike.
"Mike…"
"Wait for me here. I'll finish this soon."
Without waiting for a reply, Mike turned his attention to Stark Industries' headquarters and shot off like a silver bullet.
On the top floor of Stark Industries, a mysterious device hummed.
A glowing cube floated above it, emitting blue energy that pierced the sky. This was the source of the alien invasion.
Nearby, a woman, clad in a black leather agent suit with red hair, frantically disconnected cables from the device. Despite her efforts, the cube's energy output didn't falter.
"How do we stop this?" Natasha shouted at a dazed scientist beside her.
"It's too late." He murmured, black energy flickering in his eyes.
"Fuck!" Frustrated, Natasha cursed.
Then, with a soft whoosh, Mike appeared, his metallic suit gleaming under the blue energy.
"Who… are you?" Natasha asked, instinctively reaching for her pistol.
Ignoring her, Mike extended a hand toward the device. With a squeeze of his fingers, the machine exploded into fragments.
The cube responded violently, releasing a massive energy wave.
"Run!" Natasha yelled, dragging the scientist with her.
But Mike stood firm. Raising both hands, he countered the wave with a surge of green magnetic energy. The two forces collided, neutralizing each other in a flash of annihilation.
Natasha stared, awestruck, "May be ne can stop this."
Despite destroying the machine, the cube continued to emit energy. Mike frowned, realizing the cube's power wasn't just overwhelming—it was spatial.
"This isn't simple." He muttered, shooting threads of metal silk toward the cube.
But as the threads touched the energy, they disintegrated instantly.
Natasha spoke up, "The scepter… Loki's scepter might stop it."
Mike turned, "Loki?"
"He's the one behind this invasion. Thor's fighting him now. The scepter he wields might pierce the energy shield."
Mike extended his spider sense through his metal threads, searching for Loki.
Seconds later, he nodded, "Found him."
Amid the chaos of the central city, Loki and Thor were locked in combat.
Loki stood triumphant, his scepter glowing with malevolent energy, "I win, Thor. Soon, this world will be mine—"
Before he could finish, the scepter flew from his hands.
"What—?!" Loki turned in disbelief as Mike descended, catching the scepter mid-air.
With a single leap, Mike had entered the battle.
Both Loki and Thor stared at Mike in shock.
Loki's expression twisted in fury, "Who are you?! Give me back my scepter!"
Ignoring him, Mike tilted his head, "So, you're Loki?"
"You dare mock a god?" Loki lunged, but Mike sidestepped effortlessly.
Gripping the scepter, Mike said calmly, "Let's end this."
Loki, for the first time, felt a shiver of fear.
After transforming into the Magnetic Spider, his entire body seemed to be coated with a layer of metal. The body wrapped in the spider silk battle suit showed perfect muscle curves. The lingering magnetic energy formed a coercive pressure field. His pair of ice-blue eyes calmly reflected the nearby Loki.
Being too close to Mike, Thor instinctively felt that his body was much heavier!
He looked at Loki, who was rushing forward, and couldn't help but shout, "Wait, danger!"
These words were obviously not directed at Mike.
"You deserve to die."
When the evil god Loki rushed close to him, Mike held the jeweled scepter in his left hand and suddenly raised the index finger of his right hand!
The evil god Loki's body suddenly stiffened.
Loki opened his eyes wide in disbelief. A tiny metal spider silk pierced through his forehead, broke through the helmet of the golden horn armor, broke out from the back of his head, and went straight into a building behind him!
"Loki!" Thor couldn't help but shout.
At the same time.
In the space about one meter behind Mike, accompanied by ripples, another Loki suddenly jumped out!
A cold light and the joy of success flashed in Loki's eyes. His real body quickly grabbed the scepter in Mike's hand with one hand, and stabbed Mike's back with a sharp bayonet in his right hand!
Faced with this situation, Mike sighed inexplicably.
If it were someone else, such as Thor next to him, he might have been hit directly.
Unfortunately, Loki was facing Mike.
Mike, who controlled both the Super Spider and magnetic abilities.
Not to mention that when Mike used the metal spider silk to pierce Loki's body, he knew that Loki was fake, after all, the metal spider silk did not have the texture of piercing through real objects. And when Loki's real body appeared behind him, the spider sense also knew Loki's movement trajectory.
This is a bit like playing a CS-type shooting game. The ghost player thinks he is invisible, but he doesn't know that the opponent player has a God's perspective.
Why did you mess with him?
Mike stood there motionless, still being approached by Loki's bayonet.
The next moment—
Puff!!
Loki's happy smile froze on his face. He looked at his right hand. Well, the bayonet he was holding was gone...
'Where's my knife?'
Loki looked down at his chest and soon realized, oh, so it's here...
The bayonet broke through the golden horn armor on his body and penetrated more than half into his chest. Blood immediately gushed out along the blade!
Loki looked up dazedly, his other hand failing to snatch the jeweled scepter and hovering five centimeters away from it.
These five centimeters are like a huge natural chasm.
No matter how hard Loki tried, his body and hands could not move forward at all and touch the scepter in Mike's hand!
"You have so much metal equipment on you..." Mike shook his head, turned to face Loki nearby, and raised his right hand.
Strands of green energy poured out and wrapped around Loki's body, which was wearing golden horn armor. His feet lifted off the ground and floated completely in the air one meter low!
Crack!!
The sound of breaking continued to be heard, and the golden horn armor began to crack and disintegrate rapidly under the magnetic energy!
Loki's eyes were full of bloodshot, as if his neck was being strangled. His limbs were struggling violently and he could clearly smell the breath of death!
So, facing Mike who was nearby, fear surged from the bottom of his heart like a tide.
He doesn't want to die yet!
