Infinite travels of existence

My eyes slowly flutter open as I feel the sun begin to beam onto my eyes. I quickly stretch while making sure that I do not wake up the cute Viking next to me. I look to my right and see heather sleeping while leaning onto my shoulder. I begin to stroke her hair as I let her sleep soundly, I look over at windshear to see she has eaten the food I left for her and is awake and looking over at me. I smile at her and wave with my hand that is not stroking heathers hair. Windshear responds by wagging her tail as if she were waving making me laugh softly. 

I feel a bit of movement on my side as I look, I see heather stirring in her sleep making me smile softly as I see how cute she is in her sleep. For the next 20 minutes I just sit and watch her sleep enjoying the sight until she slowly begins to awaken. She rubs her face into the side of my arm until she opens her eyes and sees what she is doing making her freeze for a moment. Her eyes move to mine as she sees me smile down at her. Her face burns red as she begins to blush as she quickly let's go and moves to the other side of the couch.

"Hahaha you okay heather? Also, you look very cute when you blush." I try to stop laughing and keep my voice level as I see the blushing girl run away. 

"Shut up Lila!" She yells as she hides her face behind her hands in an attempt to hide from me. I can't hold it anymore and begin softly laughing at her reaction. She grabs a pillow from the couch and hurls it at my chest as it just hits it lightly and bounces off. I just raise my eyebrow at her as I look at her and watch her stick her tongue out. 

"You are a damn cute child." I say with a soft smile as I look at her and her smiles back. "Did my father give you the information?" I ask while looking at her wondering whether my father wanted the villains dead before he gave her the information.

"Yep, I understand how this place works and how to use it all." Her words are quiet and shy as she looks around the room and sees all the technology that she now understands. "And I also know that you are the daughter of the god of the multiverse, and finally." She stops for a moment and takes a deep breath as I see the blush covering her face grow instead of fade. "That we are fated mates." I smile at this happy that she understands everything.

"So do you accept me as your mate, and do you accept my offer to one day travel the multiverse?" My words have a tinge of worry as I look at her wondering what her answer will be and whether she accepts or not. 

"*sigh* yes I accept it all." Her words while quiet do not hide the soft smile on her face. I quickly run over to her and engulf her in a hug and spin her around in the air after I lift her off the couch. She lets out a started scream as I spin her around. I laugh softly as I set her down happy that I finally have her. "I also know that you are part dragon" This takes me by surprise as I thought my father would have me tell her about this. I look into her eyes and see that she truly accepts me as her mate. I smile as I deactivate the hiding skill allowing all my dragon features to be revealed including the horns and tail which wags softly behind me. Her eyes widen slightly as she looks over my body.

"You are beautiful." Her words are filled with admiration and love as she looks at me. 

"Thank you darling. you look lovely too." I say as I ruffle her messy bed head making her huff in annoyance but still lean into my hand. "Now what would you like for breakfast?" 

"Can we have pancakes. From what your father showed me they look delicious, and I would love to try them." I smile and nod as I walk over to the kitchen and begin to cook us some pancakes. As I cook, I see in the corner of my eye that Heather is checking on windshear and seeing that she is perfectly healthy and loving her new home and bed. I grab a tub of sea slugs from the fridge and give it to heather allowing her to feed them to windshear as she waits for me to finish cooking the pancakes. Heather quickly finishes feeding windshear and returns the bucket to the fridge and sits at the side table next to the cooking area as she watches me cooking. I smile as I plate a couple of the finished pancakes and place them in front of her. "Maple syrup?"

I laugh softly as I grab some out of the cupboard and drizzle it onto her pancakes. As I watch her take her first bite I smile as I see the absolute joy and extasy after taking her first bite. I get lost in her smile as she continues eating every pancake I give her. "Do you like them?"

"God yes I love them." Her words are slurred out as she tries to speak with a full mouth and utterly fails to do so. "So, what are we going to do today?" 

"How about we go for a fly and try to find your brother?" I ask as I know she wants to try and reconnect after the idea I gave her of why her brother did what he did. 

"Mmhmm sure I might be able to learn more, and I also would like to learn about my brother." My head nods up and down as I smile at her and continue placing pancakes on her plate allowing her to at least have this morning without having to worry about her brother. She looks at me grateful that I am giving her the chance to see her brother and distracting her before we have to leave to meet him.
