Chapter 20: ENTRY 01/??? The Dwelling Sanity Of The Mechanical Angel
Entry #01/???
In the realm where the line between man and machine blurred In a dimly lit chamber, where corroded metallic walls covered an abandoned facility, the mechanical angel began its chronicle.
The soft hum of gears and the occasional whir of servos were the only sounds in this sanctuary.
With the metaphysical glow of artificial light, the angel's form stood, an intricate fusion of steel and synthetic magical flesh.
"If someone created a clone of you and it died, would you be, technically speaking, considered the original?" pondered the angel, as a symphony of gears in perpetual motion kept working inside her.
"No one knows it except you"
The angel's gaze, or rather, the red optics that replaced eyes, reflected a somber expression. The energy wings in her back, once majestic in their design, now stood silent.
"So I should be the original..."
Yet, the uncertainty wavered as if the machine doubted the validity of her claims.
"A lie is only a lie if the truth is brought to light," A rhetorical question or perhaps a self-imposed paradox.
The sins of the flesh... "SAVED" by the machine benevolently bestowed upon me.
...
"But I never asked to be saved... Nor blessed," the angel lamented, with its voice carrying resentment.
"The flesh is weak, but it can be strengthened," whispered the angel, a faint echo of hope. Yet, the bitterness in its tone betrayed a profound disillusionment. Deep inside, she knew flesh contained its limitations.
"Why did my path have to be tainted with despair? WHY DID I... have to turn into this blasphemous copy of life, an unholy abomination that is just a mere silent scream from life," the angel whined, its metallic form quivering with emotions.
"But I don't blame them. I blame myself. Because it was my fault."
"Because I was weak..."
Silence enveloped the chamber, the mechanical heart pulsating in a forgotten labyrinth. "...I just miss being 'alive,' to feel alive, to remember old times..."
"And to not be one with the divine."

Authors note:
I decided to try something when I foreshadowed Thalassa's history. It was just a piece that was connected in a twisted way, but then I wondered Why I should foreshadow it. I could write them as lore.
So the thing here is I'll explain random pieces of lore about the system, characters, events, and important stuff from the past, future, or present.
I will have this dynamic for now. From time to time, I'll drop pieces of lore. Mainly those who I won't explain in the series or are just too weird.
