Lin Yan agreed without hesitation.

"Very well, then. See you tonight."

With that, he left the Thousand Gold Auction House.

He knew that Xuan Su was still working, so since his business here was concluded, he had no reason to continue disturbing her.

Xuan Su and Xia Zhilan had not made him wait at all. In fact, just as Lin Yan arrived, he saw the two women already standing there, elegantly dressed in exquisite gowns that accentuated their legs.

Their presence immediately drew the attention of passersby.

Many people couldn't help but steal glances at them.

After all, both women were stunningly beautiful and held significant status in Yan City. Seeing the two of them together in such a setting made them the undeniable center of attention.

Lin Yan quickly stepped forward and, with a polite smile, addressed them.

Lin Yan shook his head lightly. "Trouble? Not at all. In fact, I consider it an honor to dine with such distinguished ladies."

Hearing this, Xuan Su broke into a melodic, delightful laugh.

Then, with a teasing smile, she continued, "To be honest, I have another small request."

Lin Yan smiled and responded, "Please, Manager Xuan, go ahead."

Xuan Su playfully said, "I just feel like… the way we're addressing each other is too formal. You keep calling me Manager Xuan, and I keep calling you Mr. Lin Yan… doesn't it feel a bit distant?"

"If you don't mind, I'd rather you just call me 'Sister Xuan or just Xuan'. And in return, I'd like to call you Lin Yan."

Without hesitation, Lin Yan nodded and replied, "Alright, Sister Xuan. Then I shall do as you say."

Hearing him call her 'Sister Xuan', Xuan Su's smile grew even brighter.

She immediately beamed with satisfaction and said, "Little Brother Lin Yan, that sounds so pleasant."

"Zhilan, you should address him as an older brother as well. After all, he's probably older than you by a bit."

Lin Yan turned toward Xia Zhilan with a smile.

She, too, chuckled softly. Though she seemed a little awkward, she hesitated only briefly before softly saying,"Big... Big Brother Lin Yan…"

There was no unnecessary pretense, but Xia Zhilan's slightly shy demeanor made her appear even more charming.

Soon, the waiter arrived with the dishes.

As Lin Yan, Xuan Su, and Xia Zhilan dined together, they engaged in lighthearted conversation, making for a pleasant atmosphere.

For her, the true goal of this meeting was simply to help Xia Zhilan build rapport with Lin Yan.

She simply genuinely appreciated his talent, strength, and personality, believing he was someone worth befriending. Thus, she took the initiative in fostering a connection.

Lin Yan headed straight back to the inn where he and Lin Dong were staying, while Xuan Su and Xia Zhilan returned to the Thousand Gold Auction House.

On their way back, the two continued discussing Lin Yan. After all, this interaction had given them a much deeper understanding of him.

Xuan Su glanced at Xia Zhilan with a knowing smile and asked.

"He's extraordinarily talented, highly knowledgeable, composed, and has a great personality. Overall, he's definitely someone worth forming a connection with."

Xia Zhilan pondered for a moment before giving her thoughtful response.

Xuan Su nodded approvingly.

"He really is an impressive young man."

However, after saying this, she suddenly smirked mischievously and looked at Xia Zhilan with playful eyes.

"But… this is the first time I've seen you give someone such high praise. You two are about the same age, after all…"

Xia Zhilan's face instantly turned red, and she shot Xuan Su a slightly irritated look.
