The foxfolk medic was not an ordinary member of the Disciples of Sanctus Medicus.

Just from her ability to command a group of soldiers, it was evident that she held at least a minor leadership role. She likely served as part of the Disciples' strategy to intercept cloud knight reinforcements.

Unfortunately for her, she encountered the Astral Express Crew, who had accepted Jing Yuan's commission to support Fu Xuan.

With a straightforward punch, Bochang effortlessly shattered her.

After all, this foxfolk medic was a wicked woman; meeting Bochang's specialized attack was no coincidence. Her demise was well-deserved.

As the fractured foxfolk medic split apart, only a slight trace of blood stained Bochang's fist, while most of the crimson fluid sprayed like a mist, splattering across the ground in a specific direction.

Drops of bright red blood dripped from his knuckles.

Nonchalantly, Bochang shook his hand to clean it off.

The writhing flesh on the ground seemed not yet fully dead. Each piece extended numerous grotesque tentacles, searching for nearby blood and tissue.

As expected from the Disciples of Sanctus Medicus, possessing the power of Abundance—indeed resilient creatures.

Upon witnessing this...

Bochang unleashed another burst of fire lotuses, incinerating them completely to ash.

Once reduced to dust, there was no chance of resurrection.

This marked Bochang's first time killing a sentient being akin to himself. Naturally, he felt no guilt or remorse. Rather, the sight of the fragmented body still extending tentacles was utterly repulsive.

However, the advancing Mara-Struck Soldiers and ferocious war beasts did not pause with the foxfolk medic's demise. They surged forward, their heavy scent of blood palpable even at a distance.

Bochang stomped his foot.

White light flashed as the Horse Talisman's power radiated outward.

The Mara-Struck Soldiers collapsed uniformly, including both cloud knights and alchemists from the Medical Commission.

However, the warbeasts spawned by the Abundance blessing remained unaffected by the Horse Talisman's magic.

After all, they were born with their monstrous forms intact.

Unfazed by the fallen allies beside them,

their sole focus lay on the enemies ahead.

March 7th, Asta, and others swiftly entered combat mode.

As the warbeasts charged towards them, Bochang gripped his Vow Spear tightly and executed a sweeping strike.

The burning spearhead effortlessly sliced through the enemy's fur.

Several wolf-like warbeasts had their throats slit by Bochang.

Despite being manifestations of the Abundance Sprite, these warbeasts lacked the eerie regenerative abilities of Mara-Struck entities.

With ease, Bochang dispatched them instantly, requiring no follow-up strikes.

The others also displayed their formidable prowess.

Apart from one elite gorilla-like warbeast that posed some challenge, the rest of the monsters were relatively weak.

Bochang and his companions swiftly dealt with the charging warbeasts, taking less than a minute to resolve the situation.

Meanwhile...

On the ground, the Cloud Knights and alchemists from the Alchemy Commission began sitting up, still disoriented and unsure of what had transpired.

Even the cloud knight who previously "staged" a collision with Bochang thought he was dead. However, upon hearing the ongoing battle sounds around him, he found himself utterly bewildered. Hastily, he struggled to sit up, trying to comprehend the situation.

As he managed to raise himself, the battle between Bochang's group and the warbeasts neared its end.

The final blow was delivered by Qingque, as he hurled his Emperor's Jade Token, instantly incapacitating a wolf-shaped warbeast.

Then...

Welt Yang observed the recovering cloud knights and asked, "Does anyone know Master Diviner's whereabouts? We were summoned here as reinforcements by the General..."

"Master Diviner...should be at the camp ahead, but...why am I here? I clearly remember being Mara-Struck."

"I should have died; why am I still alive?"

The dozen or so Cloud Knights murmured among themselves, recounting their experiences. No one doubted Welt Yang and his companions' identity, given the battlefield strewn with warbeast corpses - clear evidence they were allies.

"Huh? What exactly happened? Did I just take a nap? Why did I wake up lying here?"

One medic from the Alchemy Commission appeared utterly bewildered.

The awakened Cloud Knights spontaneously organized themselves to oversee these medics.

Although the Alchemy Commission had been infiltrated and controlled by the Disciples of Sanctus Medicus,

not everyone there was a member of that sect.

For instance, Bai Lu remained unaffected.

Many innocent individuals were caught up in this turmoil.

Consequently, the Cloud Knights could not indiscriminately kill all the Alchemy Commission's medics. However, they couldn't trust them either, as some might still be affiliated with the Disciples of Sanctus Medicus.

Thus, they became a ticking bomb needing constant supervision.

The battle concluded.

March 7th observed the melted ground from the fire lotus and remarked, "Bochang, you're quite violent."

The pink-haired girl's comment referred to...

Bochang explosively punching the foxfolk medic. It was indeed gruesome, making anyone who witnessed it feel uneasy.

Had Bochang not swiftly set fire to the scene, leaving it exposed would have only intensified the discomfort.

"Just didn't fully control my strength," Bochang casually replied.

A Cloud Knight without his visor approached them.

"Excuse me... Was it this gentleman who healed my Mara-Struck condition just now? Or perhaps...the Draconic Lady?"

This Cloud Knight was the one who had earlier staged a false injury against Bochang.

Bochang still recognized his face.

Bochang vaguely recognized him.

"Not by me," Bailu promptly shook her head. Although she could treat Mara-Strike, it required...

Administering medicine directly to the afflicted individuals. Unlike Bochang, who merely needed to emit white light from his body to instantly heal them all at once—a truly astonishing ability.

"Many thanks for saving our lives, sir."

The cloud knight bowed with clasped hands, expressing sincere gratitude.

Upon hearing this, the other Cloud Knights echoed in unison:

"Thank you, sir, for your life-saving grace."

Bochang casually waved his hand and replied, "No need to thank me; it's what I should do."

With that, Bochang and his companions had no intention to linger and chat further with the Cloud Knights. After learning Fu Xuan's whereabouts, they hastily set off.

As they rushed towards their destination, they continued rescuing the knights along the way.

As they defeated members of the Disciples of Sanctus Medicus along the way, Bochang and his team swiftly reached the Cloud Knights' encampment.

Unfortunately, their timing was less than ideal.

Fu Xuan had led scouts ahead to gather intelligence and was currently away from the camp.

Thus, Bochang's group could only take a brief respite there.

The appearance of the Disciples of Sanctus Medicus significantly demoralized the Cloud Knights.

After all...

Those adversaries possessed a mysterious ability that could rapidly plunge eternal life beings into Mara-Stricken state within a short span.

During the Cloud Knights' initial assault on the Alchemy Commission, casualties were minimal. However, when their comrades suddenly succumbed to Mara-Strike, it caught them off guard, resulting in significant losses.

Nowadays...

Fear and unease pervaded the entire camp.

As Bochang's group casually walked around, they overheard numerous disheartening remarks detrimental to unity.

The captured members of the Disciples of Sanctus Medicus continued spreading their deceptive propaganda, uttering bizarre statements.
