Just from her ability to command a group of soldiers, it was evident that she held at least a minor leadership role. She likely served as part of the Disciples' strategy to intercept cloud knight reinforcements.

Unfortunately for her, she encountered the Astral Express Crew, who had accepted Jing Yuan's commission to support Fu Xuan.

With a straightforward punch, Bochang effortlessly shattered her.

After all, this foxfolk medic was a wicked woman; meeting Bochang's specialized attack was no coincidence. Her demise was well-deserved.

Several wolf-like warbeasts had their throats slit by Bochang.

Despite being manifestations of the Abundance Sprite, these warbeasts lacked the eerie regenerative abilities of Mara-Struck entities.

With ease, Bochang dispatched them instantly, requiring no follow-up strikes.

The others also displayed their formidable prowess.

Apart from one elite gorilla-like warbeast that posed some challenge, the rest of the monsters were relatively weak.

Bochang and his companions swiftly dealt with the charging warbeasts, taking less than a minute to resolve the situation.

Meanwhile...

On the ground, the Cloud Knights and alchemists from the Alchemy Commission began sitting up, still disoriented and unsure of what had transpired.

Even the cloud knight who previously "staged" a collision with Bochang thought he was dead. However, upon hearing the ongoing battle sounds around him, he found himself utterly bewildered. Hastily, he struggled to sit up, trying to comprehend the situation.

As he managed to raise himself, the battle between Bochang's group and the warbeasts neared its end.

The final blow was delivered by Qingque, as he hurled his Emperor's Jade Token, instantly incapacitating a wolf-shaped warbeast.

Then...

Welt Yang observed the recovering cloud knights and asked, "Does anyone know Master Diviner's whereabouts? We were summoned here as reinforcements by the General..."

"Master Diviner...should be at the camp ahead, but...why am I here? I clearly remember being Mara-Struck."

"I should have died; why am I still alive?"

The dozen or so Cloud Knights murmured among themselves, recounting their experiences. No one doubted Welt Yang and his companions' identity, given the battlefield strewn with warbeast corpses - clear evidence they were allies.

"Huh? What exactly happened? Did I just take a nap? Why did I wake up lying here?"

One medic from the Alchemy Commission appeared utterly bewildered.

The awakened Cloud Knights spontaneously organized themselves to oversee these medics.

Although the Alchemy Commission had been infiltrated and controlled by the Disciples of Sanctus Medicus,

not everyone there was a member of that sect.

For instance, Bai Lu remained unaffected.

Many innocent individuals were caught up in this turmoil.

Consequently, the Cloud Knights could not indiscriminately kill all the Alchemy Commission's medics. However, they couldn't trust them either, as some might still be affiliated with the Disciples of Sanctus Medicus.

Thus, they became a ticking bomb needing constant supervision.

The battle concluded.

March 7th observed the melted ground from the fire lotus and remarked, "Bochang, you're quite violent."

As they defeated members of the Disciples of Sanctus Medicus along the way, Bochang and his team swiftly reached the Cloud Knights' encampment.

Unfortunately, their timing was less than ideal.

Fu Xuan had led scouts ahead to gather intelligence and was currently away from the camp.

Thus, Bochang's group could only take a brief respite there.

The appearance of the Disciples of Sanctus Medicus significantly demoralized the Cloud Knights.
