In Fairy Tail, starts with a Super Mega Gengar

Chapter 53: Chapter 53: Gaal: Transformation of the Undead!

Hearing Gaal's question, everyone in the room turned to look.

Gildarts couldn't help but feel guilty as he said, "Nothing. The old man told us not to worry, he'll be back soon."

From the sounds over there, it seemed that many people were fine, so there wasn't much to worry about. Gildarts reassured himself.

Gaal watched Gildarts and couldn't help but smirk; could he be any more obvious about his guilt?

He probably got scared by the old man.

Gaal shook his head, not bothering to dwell on it. After telling everyone to wait for the Guild Master to return, he headed toward his magic shop.

Meanwhile, in the guild hall, Ur, Ultear, and Lyon felt a bit awkward.

Ur and Ultear were somewhat used to it—one was an adult, while the other had experienced who knows how much, so they weren't bothered by the curious stares.

It was Lyon, however, who felt his face gradually heat up as he caught Gray looking at him mockingly.

Lyon was boasting about fighting Gray, who was equally eager, confidently walking out with Lyon while stating he was definitely going to make him cry.

Ur, noticing Gray's confidence, couldn't help but feel curious and decided to follow everyone outside to see how much Gray had improved during this time.

Ultear, however, was sulking next to Ur.

Watching Gray and Lyon roll around on the ground while mocking each other in their fight, she lifted her hand to cover her face.

What was she doing back then…? Eating vinegar because of these two idiots???

It was simply a dark history. She absolutely could not admit she felt jealous of these two fools. Absolutely not!

The scuffle ended quickly. Despite the numerous creations Lyon made, they were effortlessly crushed by Gray.

Lyon ended up with a bright red face, speechless, while Ur marveled at Gray's progress: "Looks like Gaal taught you well. Gray, your strength has really increased so quickly."

Gray grinned: "Of course. Brother Gaal is incredibly strong."

Lyon couldn't help but chime in, "Hmph, Ur is the strongest."

Gray paused, scoffing slightly: "Hmph, who asked for your opinion?! By the way, Ur. Are you planning to stay? It's really lively here."

Ur nodded and replied, "I might stay for a while. But what the situation will be like, we'll have to wait for Guild Master Makarov to come back before deciding."

Gray smiled: "No problem. The old man will definitely agree."

On the other side.

Gaal's magic shop.

He unlocked the shop door, stepped inside, and closed it behind him.

After applying a few layers of sealing formations around the room, he proceeded to the basement.

Gaal pressed the Poké Ball at his waist, and Gengar was released: "Gree~"

Gaal waved his hand, revealing Rustyrose's corpse on the ground, and instructed Gengar: "Gengar, pour out all the dark attribute materials we collected before."

Gengar had been modified by Gaal long ago; generally, when it was Gaal fighting, Gengar would scour for items, just like it had done previously at Tumultuous Second.

Hearing Gaal's command, Gengar nodded: "Gree!"

Two stubby arms reached for its belly, and a small opening appeared on its round purple belly.

Gengar used its left hand to grab one side of the opening, while its right hand reached inside.

Soon, dark attribute materials began to spill out, including demon horns, soul stone fragments, and some unknown dark runes…

However, sensing this was a bit slow, Gengar moved, and a clone appeared beside it.

The clone exchanged a glance with Gengar and emitted a "Gree Gree~" sound, then stepped in front of Gengar, half of its body diving into the opening on Gengar's belly, nearly losing balance, as its short legs flailed.

Finally stabilizing its position, the clone dove deeper inside Gengar's belly, its short arms operating as if swimming, digging something out. One dark attribute material after another was wheeled out from Gengar's belly, quickly forming a small mountain.

Seeing that it was almost done, Gaal instructed Gengar to stop.

Gengar nodded, and the clone that had plunged inside disappeared, with the opening on its belly returning to normal as it stood beside Gaal, curiously watching.

Gaal raised his hand towards Rustyrose's corpse and visualized what he wanted to manifest. He then directed his focus at Rustyrose's body and activated the 'Arc of Embodiment.'

Buzz—

A silver-white Arc of Embodiment magic circle lit up beneath Rustyrose's corpse.

Above the circle, a layer of mystic purple formation appeared, which was unlike any formation Gaal had learned; it was formed from the 'Arc of Embodiment' and all of Gaal's telekinetic energy was applied to that layer.

Carefully observing the operation of the mystic purple formation. As the mystic purple formation brightened, Rustyrose's corpse rapidly began to dissipate, transforming entirely into the purest energy that merged into the formation.

The small mountain of dark attribute materials nearby was also drawn in, trembling. Soon, several pieces of material flew out from the pile, including soul stone fragments, the heart of a specter horse, and fragments of a demon's skull…

With each material integrating into the formation on the ground, the mystic purple formation glowed brightly. A skeleton soldier slowly emerged from the formation, standing before Gaal, as the mystic purple formation faded.

The skeleton soldier's eye sockets burned with green soul flames, standing respectfully before Gaal.

Observing the skeleton soldier, which was largely unchanged from his memories, Gaal lifted his hand to absorb the soul flame from its skull and then severed it, leaving only a small piece of the soul flame returned.

The skeleton soldier's aura instantly weakened. Gaal's will surged, crushing the skeleton soldier before him.

The soul flame in its skull extinguished, yet the main soul flame in Gaal's hand remained unchanged as he tossed a part of it away.

The crushed skeleton soldier rapidly reformed, but the soul flame in its eye sockets dimmed significantly. It was evident that it had exhausted a considerable amount of energy from the severed soul flame.

Gaal nodded with satisfaction. It should be known that in the Fairy Tail World, there were no types of magic like that of skeleton soldiers, undead knights, or bone dragons commonly found in various films from Gaal's past life.

However, the 'Arc of Embodiment' could create what Gaal envisioned within the world's rules, manifesting the magic he had in mind based on various materials, thus allowing him to create this never-before-seen undead transformation array.

Watching the re-materializing skeleton soldier, Gaal stroked his chin and reached out to take back the soul flame from its eye sockets, causing the skeleton soldier to freeze in place.

Afterwards, Gaal signaled to Gengar to see if it could attach itself to the skeleton and control it.

This was mainly because he had used the soul stone in the transformation array, a process that was too brutal; he had only managed to collect a few pieces while dealing with the dark guild.

If Gengar could possess it… then perhaps the giant dragon bones in the Dragon's Grave could assemble into a bone dragon army.
