Ren silently wiped the sweat from his forehead, finally noticing his body was already covered with markings.

[Bullet Time] was off, and a trace of fatigue hit his mind.

Before Ren could respond, Kanoe stepped protectively in front of him, with Senjuro joining her and glaring at Kyojuro.

Ren gently patted Kanoe's shoulder. "It's fine."

He could tell Kyojuro only wanted to enlighten him. If things got out of hand, Kyojuro would definitely intervene.

As for this "other technique" Kyojuro wanted to teach? Ren already had a vague idea of what it might be.

"Give me a moment," Ren whispered to Kanoe before sitting cross-legged on the ground.
