Tian looked at the golden screen, dumbfounded. The system had actually recognized butterfly-making as a skill and unlocked Auto Clicker for it. "Now that I think about it, the system should not be so simple. This system is all about repeating the performed action, so arts and crafts should be the main focus, like blacksmithing, alchemy, or formation mastery. This is actually an all-rounded system that can help me get stronger and earn a fortune."

Tian sighed. Unfortunately, he didn't have any interest in arts and crafts, nor was he interested in toiling away as a blacksmith, alchemist, or formation master. He had done enough studying, labor, and jobs in his previous life, so the idea of doing the same in a new world was almost nauseating for him.

"I would like to see the world and experience the story that this world, this universe, has to offer, and maybe for that god, try to change the ending," Tian thought to himself as he looked at the things that were unlocked.

In the settings tab of Auto Clicker, the option to adjust speed was unlocked. Right now, Tian tried to adjust the slider, and he was able to crank it up to 1.5 times the speed. It was somewhat faster than his usual practice.

The next thing that was unlocked was that he was now able to adjust the number of cycles he wanted to perform for the techniques. A new option allowed him to choose how many cycles he would like to perform in one go. Tian highly anticipated this feature because every time he performed the techniques, he would be dead tired. Now he knew that the system wasn't so simple.

There were definitely more features that he would unlock when the time came.

Tian decided to take it slow and continue cultivating as per his usual practice.

Unlocking the system was a pleasant surprise, but as he was taught in Buddhist teachings, he decided not to rush things. There was no immediate crisis, and since he could control the speed at which he executed the Bronze Body Sutra, he decided to limit the number of cycles to three per day.

This way, he wouldn't burn too much energy and would be able to progress steadily. Tian cultivated daily and would focus on bronze body sutra. He would also do everyday work with other older monks and help young monks manage various places like farms, wells and kitchen.

Soon,half a month passed, and as Tian finished the last set of Bronze Body Sutra, his body underwent a magical transformation. Strong muscles were visible under his monk robes, and his tendons were like strong, thick ropes coiling around his bones like small dragons rolling in the clouds.

Although he was 10 years old, he looked far more mature than his age. His body was developing at a rapid pace, and he was considered a genius by the older monks in body-refining techniques.

He had asked around and found out that the sects in the outside world had qi-refining techniques, which were the primary way for people to get stronger. The qi in Lingyun Kingdom was thin as it was a third-rate power in Su State. He was astonished to find out that a small Su State was as large as real-life China in terms of area and housed several big powers, Lingyun Kingdom being one of them.

Tian, who had successfully cultivated the first level of Bronze Body Sutra, was the most ordinary cultivator among the people of the world.

As he finished the set and his body completed the strengthening process, he felt a strange sense of surging power inside him.

It was different from just his body being strong. He felt as if his muscles were undergoing a transformation. The spiritual power of the world was getting infused into his muscles, and he felt as if his body would continue to get stronger.

After feeling the fake sense of power for a while, the sensation finally stopped as a golden notification appeared in front of him.

As the various items unlocked, Tian was overwhelmed by the number of notifications. There was a whole new world before him as he looked at all the different items he had, and as he looked at the various tabs, he finally understood why people with gold fingers were able to soar to the heavens in a short amount of time.

The shop function was simple. He could use Upgrade Points to buy various items. There were spirit stones, weapons, armors, and various other items. All of the stuff was way out of his reach as he looked at the Upgrade section. Considering he earned only one Upgrade Point per level-up of a technique, it would be a far-fetched idea to try to buy anything in the near future.

He then explored the Daily Mission tab, where there was a single mission displayed.

He then looked at the Upgrades tab, and to his surprise, he found a large upgrade tree there. All the upgrades were for the system itself, and he felt dizzy looking at all the options.

There was a dedicated upgrade tree for speed. Another upgrade tree was to upgrade Auto Clicker's basic functions. There were also several upgrade trees where the symbols were greyed out. This meant there was a lot more to the system than he had imagined.

When he saw the cost, he gasped. To enhance the speed of Auto Clicker to 2 times the normal speed, it required 10 points. Further upgrades were locked and couldn't be seen. There was a whole tech tree for the assimilation of different techniques and upgrades regarding various techniques.

The sheer number of options made Tian realize that although he was in a novel world, the system was the real deal. There was a tech tree for upgrading the system itself, but the cost made him realize that looking at that tech tree would be useless at this point in time.

He then looked at technique upgrades. The cost to upgrade Bronze Body Sutra was 10 Upgrade Points.

Tian estimated that the Bronze Body Sutra would evolve by itself when it reached the maximum level of 5.

So there was no need to focus on that upgrade. After looking around and seeing so many upgrades, he decided it was best to focus on one thing. When there were too many options, right now, the best way for him to get stronger was to progress fast in his cultivation.

The only thing stopping him from earning a huge amount of experience was the lack of nutrients in his body. He couldn't practice the Bronze Body Sutra more than four to five times, as it would consume too much energy.

"Looks like the system understands my predicament and has given me such a good daily mission..."

Tian swiftly left for the practice ground as he arrived in front of the practice dummy.

"Let's focus on completing the daily mission and getting the spirit stone. Maybe it can compensate for the lost energy and help me break through the second level of Bronze Body Sutra faster."

He said as he readied his fist and tensed his muscles. His small fist, like the strike of a hammer, struck the thickest part of the wooden log of the belly of the dummy. There was a visible dent on the dummy, but the sturdy wood endured the impact of the fist.

Tian found out that if he used Auto Clicker, he would continuously strike the wooden dummy until his fist turned red and all the strength in his body was exhausted.

He then tried to adjust the settings. It was too easy and practical as he could adjust the settings for Auto Clicker with but a thought. He set the number of clicks to 1 and speed to 1.5 times.

As he struck the dummy again, this time he felt visible changes to the way his body executed the technique under the influence of Auto Clicker.
