I the King of bandits of the East Sea

Chapter 72: Chapter 72 a partner of justice

Ivankov not only secretly observed Morgan but had even made several attempts to test him, all of which led to the same conclusion: Morgan didn't have the slightest feeling of being a strong individual.

"Morgan really doesn't seem like a strong person hiding his power. On this matter, even the Navy has issued a bounty notice. His bounty is only 10 million."

"The Navy hasn't publicized Morgan's feat of cutting down Garp. But such a low bounty also shows that the Navy hasn't figured out Morgan's true nature."

Ivankov said.

Among Morgan's publicly announced crimes, there was only a vague accusation of "betraying the Navy and attacking a superior."

For such crimes, setting a bounty of 10 million was already not low.

On the other end of the Den Den Mushi, Dragon was silent for a long time before speaking:

"Morgan is indeed unusual."

"But the essence of this anomaly might not lie with him. Perhaps... it's Sig?"

This one sentence from Dragon directly enlightened Ivankov, waking him up as if from a dream.

In his mind, however, flashed the faces of several individuals full of positive energy.

It was during the annihilation battle when Sig's subordinates—the bandits—suddenly began shouting strange slogans and charging forward with greatly increased morale, reversing the situation in a short time.

Previously, he had thought that Sig's subordinates might be suitable candidates to become part of the Okama Kingdom…

But when combined with the scene of Morgan cutting down Garp, Ivankov came to a reasonable conjecture in his heart.

"This might be Sig-boy's Devil Fruit ability, something similar to Betty's inspirational power!"

Ivankov realized.

Coincidentally, he knew someone with a similar ability.

The East Army Commander of the Revolutionary Army, Belo Betty, is a user of the motivation-motivation Fruit(Kobu Kobu no Mi).

Betty can use the power of her fruit to awaken the latent strength and fighting will within people's bodies. She has repeatedly used this ability to make ordinary town residents take up arms and drive away attacking pirates with nothing but her rallying cries.

Moreover, there are also Devil Fruits that can manipulate others' bodies to fight, and such abilities are not uncommon.

For example, among the current Warlords of the Sea, two of them—the Shadow-Shadow Fruit user Moria and the String-String Fruit user Doflamingo—can manipulate others' bodies using their Devil Fruit powers.

Every Devil Fruit in the world is unique, but many fruits can develop similar techniques.

If Sig's Devil Fruit ability could achieve effects similar to the Inspirational-Inspirational Fruit, it indeed made sense.

"Is Sig an unknown Devil Fruit user? That would make sense."

Dragon also nodded in approval.

After briefly exchanging intelligence, Dragon was about to hang up when he heard Ivankov hesitantly say:

"Dragon, you'd better arrive at Shimotsuki Village as soon as possible. The situation with CP0 might be more troublesome than we imagined."

"Perhaps we should return this gift... to Sig-boy."

Ivankov said hesitantly.

"I'll come as soon as possible."

Dragon paused for a moment and didn't ask for details.

Discussing matters involving CP0's classified information over the Den Den Mushi wasn't entirely safe.

However, doubts also lingered in his mind. Ivankov's words had left him concerned.

With the Revolutionary Army's strength, it was possible to eliminate a CP0 agent.

But for Ivankov to speak like this meant that this CP0 agent's identity exceeded Ivankov's initial expectations, even to the point of worrying that the Revolutionary Army might not be able to handle the consequences.

The efficiency of the bald guy was impressive. By the next day, he had returned with a large number of purchased supplies.

Among them were also the various swords Sig had specifically requested.

The first was a Wolf Fang Sword. Rather than calling it a sword, it resembled a spiked mace. This peculiar weapon was a special order from a blacksmith's shop, made to Sig's specifications.

Since it was just for testing, the Wolf Fang Sword was forged rather crudely. But Sig didn't mind—he wasn't planning to actually fight anyone with it.

The second was a Chainsaw Sword. It was a lightweight chainsaw shaped roughly like a sword. With Sig's current physical strength, wielding it one-handed posed no problem.

The third was a Folding Knife—or rather, a folding dagger.

This was the smallest and most portable weapon in Sig's series of "Justice Equipment." Its only purpose was to unleash a perfect counterattack that would guarantee a disarmament against an opponent trying to catch the blade barehanded.

The fourth was the original longsword.

In addition to these blades, there were also corrosive acids, poisons, and the like, meant to imbue the weapons with blessings of justice.

Armed with his new equipment, Sig immediately felt a significant boost in his sense of security.

"From now on, I am a champion of justice."

Sig muttered to himself as he led his group of bandits toward Isshin Dojo.

The dojo's owner, Koshiro, was likely strong, but he seemed to have a gentle temperament. With so much justice-infused equipment in hand, Sig had no reason to be afraid.

Inside the dojo.

The dojo master, Koshiro, was conversing with Bartholomew Kuma and Ivankov.

"Speaking of swordsmanship, there is a sword master in our fleet this time. He's planning to visit Isshin Dojo in the coming days…"

As Ivankov spoke, he couldn't help but recall Sig's previous display of swordsmanship when he slashed the Sea King. That technique, so extraordinary it defied the very understanding of swordsmanship, had left him in awe.

Ivankov and Kuma, having some degree of camaraderie with Koshiro, volunteered to introduce Sig after learning of his intention to visit.

Through the side door, a ten-year-old green-haired boy, Zoro, peeked inside. As he listened to the conversation among Koshiro and the others, his expression gradually became excited.

After a short moment, Zoro dashed outside, picked up three wooden swords, and ran back inside, seemingly determined.

"Zoro, what are you doing? There are important guests coming to visit. Don't cause trouble," Koshiro's daughter, Kuina, stopped him.

Kuina, who was a year or two older than Zoro, had short, spirited hair and a delicate face. However, her skills had already surpassed the adult practitioners in the dojo.

"Kuina, the dojo is about to receive an incredibly skilled guest. He's a master swordsman, and they say he easily cut down a Sea King dozens of meters long!"

"I want him to witness my Two-Sword Style!"

As Zoro spoke, he tied the two wooden swords he was carrying to his waist, pretending to mimic the demeanor of a mature adult.

But he was still just a child, too short, with the wooden swords nearly dragging along the floor.

Kuina blinked her eyes.

"I'll go get Wado Ichimonji."

Like Zoro, Kuina was also someone who couldn't resist a strong challenge. Hearing about the arrival of a sword master made her excitement overtake her reason instantly.

Moments later, inside the dojo, Koshiro watched the two children sitting solemnly with their swords, their expressions unusually serious. He couldn't help but laugh quietly.

However, before he could say anything, the main door of the dojo swung open again.

Everyone looked up, and Sig's figure appeared at the entrance.

"Koshiro, this is the swordsman I mentioned…"

Seeing Sig arrive, Ivankov quickly began to introduce him. But as his eyes fell upon Sig's figure, his words trailed off unconsciously.

The perpetually smiling Koshiro, known for his calm demeanor, found his smile stiffening for a brief moment.
