Chapter 9: It will become a dragon later!
“Oh, so lovely!” Chu Kelian exclaimed, her eyes shining as she gazed at Diancie. The little creature’s dazzling diamonds, adorable face, and pristine white dress had captivated her attention completely.
Diancie was stunned by Chu Kelian’s expression and hopped back a few times to maintain some distance, blinking in confusion at her.
“Boss! Is this also a pet from your store?” Chu Kelian hurriedly inquired as Guxin approached.
Guxin smiled and confirmed, “Yes, this is my partner, Diancie, but it is not for sale.”
Bai Qianqian was equally astounded by Diancie’s beauty. “Really? Can’t we negotiate the price…?”
“Miss, there’s no need to ask,” Lin Sheng interjected, glancing at Chu Kelian casually. “Diancie has already offered five million outside, but the boss didn’t even entertain the idea of bargaining.”
Chu Kelian was shocked. Even before she could finish her sentence, Lin Sheng revealed that interested buyers were already willing to pay five million for Diancie. The price was the same as before Diancie came to the pet shop.
Diancie’s exquisite appearance was irresistible, and its ability to jump into Pure Land added to its allure.
“Five million may not be a small sum, but Boss, are you willing to sell?” Chu Kelian pouted and asked Guxin, her expression suggesting that she didn’t consider five million to be a significant amount. Her demeanor seemed genuine.
Lin Sheng looked at Chu Kelian in astonishment. My goodness, she’s an incredibly wealthy and beautiful woman.
“No matter the amount, I won’t sell. Diancie is priceless to me and a beloved family member,” Guxin replied with a smile. He brushed off the idea, finding it absurd to consider selling Diancie.
Several hundred or even several million for Diancie? It is utterly ridiculous.
“That’s a shame,” Chu Kelian sighed. Her admiration for Diancie’s beauty is evident. “Boss, what about this little fox?” She asked, her eyes lighting up as she pointed to the six-tailed fox yawning on the table. “It’s so cute! And it has six tails!”
Lin Sheng’s expression tightened as he quickly picked up Vulpix, who seemed confused, and declared ownership to Chu Kelian. He had already borrowed money from his cousin.
“By the way, Boss, give me your payment code,” Lin Sheng said, fearing he might be late.
Chu Kelian playfully rolled her eyes and said, “Tsk, it’s like I’m going to rob him,” she quipped, finding Lin Sheng quite hopeless.
“Alright, Diancie, get the payment code,” Guxin said to Diancie while eyeing Chu Kelian. “This is a big client! She’s truly Bai Qianqian’s sister, and she’s also rich and beautiful.”
“Beauty, are you here to buy a pet too?” Guxin inquired.
“Yes, do you have any available?” Chu Kelian nodded, her interest in Vulpix growing even stronger.
“Of course! Let’s draw first. Since you’re a friend of Miss Bai Qianqian, you should be familiar with the process,” Guxin suggested, handing Chu Kelian the store manager’s Pokedex.
“I do, but Boss, you don’t have those extremely ugly pets here, right?” Chu Kelian looked at the Pokedex, blinked her eyes, and asked Guxin.
“I can’t guarantee that, as everyone’s aesthetics are different, but I can assure you that all our pets are unique,” Guxin hesitated momentarily, unsure of what Chu Kelian would draw.
“But we’re here to do business, so we naturally want to meet the customers’ demands.”
“So if you draw a Pokemon that you don’t like, you can pay to draw again, although I wouldn’t recommend it personally,” Guxin said with a smile.
“That’s not a problem,” Chu Kelian’s delicate face lit up with a smile. As for money, she didn’t care.
Well, she’s a legendary RMB warrior, after all!
“Sa~ Bai Qianqian, grant me good luck!”
Chu Kelian stared at the Pokedex in her hand and muttered incomprehensible words that made Bai Qianqian cover her face. She clicked on ‘go.’
Lin Sheng, who had paid with the QR code handed over by Diancie and paid for it, looked over curiously, wondering what kind of Pokemon this rich beauty would draw.
The black shadow flickered constantly and finally stopped.
“Huh? What’s this, a little lizard?” Blinking her eyes, Chu Kelian looked toward Guxin, who was installing energy cubes for Lin Sheng.
“Boss, can you help me see what this is?” Asked Chu Kelian.
Guxin raised his eyebrows and walked over and said, “Wow, you’re really lucky, Miss. It’s called a Charmander.”
Guxin looked at Chu Kelian with admiration. Damn, two of the three iconic starter Pokemon from the Pokemon series had been drawn in a single day.
“Charmander?!” Chu Kelian’s beautiful eyes lit up.
A dragon?
Lin Sheng and Bai Qianqian were extremely shocked.
“Emmm, it’s not what you guys think, it’s just called Charmander, but that’s not right either…”
Guxin was shocked for a moment, then wanted to explain, but as he spoke, he realized his words were slightly off.
Although Charmander and its final evolution, Charizard did not have the Dragon type, just from their appearance, Charizard looked like a Western dragon. Moreover, Charizard’s two super-evolved X forms of the fire-breathing dragon had dragon attributes.
“If you look at the appearance after it grows up, Charmander can be considered a dragon,” after hesitating for a moment, Guxin shook his head and replied.
“Boss, are you kidding us? There are dragons?” Bai Qianqian asked in surprise.
A freaking dragon?
“Where in the world is there such a species as dragons?”
“It’s not the dragon in our Eastern mythology, but rather a dragon similar to the Western winged lizard dragon.”
“And this shop operates with integrity and will never engage in fraudulent business. What we sell here are Pokemons, not ordinary pets.”
Guxin was also not angry at Bai Qianqian’s skepticism but responded very calmly.
Dragons are mythical creatures that have never appeared, so it is normal for someone to question their existence.
If Guxin were to post a video of Charmander online and say that it would evolve into the appearance of a Western dragon, I’m afraid everyone would think he is crazy.
Well, that’s why Guxin was very calm.
But the fact is, when Charizard appears later, they will understand.
