I Can Evolve Infinitely In Marvel!!

Chapter 2: Chapter 1: Marvel and Mercenaries

It was 10 PM in New York, the city alive with neon lights that gleamed against the night sky. The pulse of the city never slowed, its vibrancy felt even in the dark.

A figure, cloaked in black, flew low against the sky, blending into the shadows as he sped past towering skyscrapers. His presence was unnoticed, a part of the night itself.

As the man passed a familiar building—the iconic Stark Industries—his gaze lingered. This wasn't the world he once knew. No longer an ordinary man, he was now a player in the dangerous Marvel universe, where superheroes, gods, and extraordinary powers shaped everything.

In this world, even the bravest could fall. If he were without power, he'd have to hide, to stay far away from the chaos of New York. Ordinary humans had no place here, not with the looming threats, like the one caused by the "purple sweet potato spirit" snapping his fingers.

But he wasn't ordinary anymore.

He had awakened the Void System of League of Legends, a force that granted him abilities like the Void Predator, Kha'Zix. He could blend into shadows, render himself invisible, and tear through steel with ease. The power he had now allowed him to evolve with every absorbed energy, making him a force to be reckoned with.

His name was no longer what it had been in his past life. He was now Harvey Ambelaka, orphan turned mercenary, and the darkness was his ally. He wasn't afraid of it, nor of what it could do to him. After all, in a world like this, one either adapted or perished.

Harvey landed silently in front of a lavish Brooklyn mansion. He entered smoothly, the door opening easily with the key he had kept on hand. As he stepped inside, his phone buzzed in his pocket.

The messages were routine—payments for mercenary jobs. He smiled as he read the latest: "Death, after deducting 5% of the foundry fee, the remaining money has been safely transferred to your account. We look forward to our next cooperation."

His bank balance flashed a comforting sum of 163.24 million dollars. This wasn't a life anyone could achieve by being ordinary.

The man who had once been Chu Wei, a native of china, was now living a different life, surrounded by wealth earned from his work as a mercenary. Using his powers, he could slip unnoticed into any place, taking any job, whether it was assassination or protection.

His transition from an orphan in the streets to a powerful, wealthy individual had been swift. He didn't just survive in this world; he thrived. He used his abilities to complete dangerous jobs for the highest bidder, whether they were from military governments or wealthy elites. And with every job, his wealth grew, making him a key player in the underground mercenary world.

He sat on his couch, taking a glass of wine, as he scrolled through dark web listings. The tasks were varied—assassinations, heists, sabotage. There was one mission that caught his eye: "Eliminate a high-ranking Afghan military official. Minimum reward: $10 million, maximum: $50 million."

Harvey paused, his finger hovering over the tablet. He recognized the target and knew this mission was important. But the price was tempting. This was the kind of job that would cement his reputation further.

However, he wasn't in a rush to take it. Tony Stark was about to begin his Iron Man journey, and Harvey knew that New York would soon be full of chaos. It was time to prepare. He had already invested in Stark Industries and various properties, securing his future in the chaos that was about to unfold.

Before he could settle into his plans, another message pinged on his phone. "Mr. Death, we have a designated mission for you."

It was rare for a mercenary to get such a message, but it happened to those with a reputation—Harvey was one of those. His codename, "Death," was known across the mercenary world for completing the impossible. No matter the target, no matter the challenge, when he took a mission, it was done.

Harvey didn't hesitate. "I know the price. Let me know the time and place."

Across the world, a man with an eyepatch and a confident demeanor sat back in his chair, his hands steepled in thought. Nick Fury had heard the rumors of this mercenary— "Death"—and he was intrigued. Fury had his own plans, and he needed someone like Harvey to carry them out.

He typed a response: "We'd like to meet before finalizing the mission. The details are... sensitive."

Harvey's reply came swiftly. "As long as the money is there, so am I."

Nick Fury knew that this was the beginning of something bigger. The mission, though, would be more than just money. It would be a stepping stone to something that could change the course of everything.

And so, the stage was set. Harvey Ambelaka, the mysterious and powerful mercenary, was about to cross paths with the very people who would soon change the world—starting with Nick Fury and the Avengers.
