Chapter 78
Chapter 78
“Damn it…”
Si woo looked around, unsure exactly where he was. He was in a place surrounded by nothing but stark white walls.
If it weren’t for the glass window in front of him, he might have felt as if he were losing his mind.
Recalling his recent memories, he tried to guess why he was here.
He remembered the fight with Longinus in the park. He had resisted with all his might, using the power of the Holy Grail, but he was ultimately defeated.
And now…
Judging from the view beyond the glass, this was likely a hidden place within the academy.
Though he couldn’t be certain.
Longinus had claimed she was protecting him from the Apostles, so it was possible he was in a completely separate space, far from the academy.
Regardless, he wouldn’t learn anything while trapped here.
He had attempted to escape countless times.
However, the white walls and glass were so sturdy that no attack could break through.
In the end, Si woo decided to conserve his strength, not wanting to exhaust himself pointlessly.
He needed to be ready for any opportunity to escape.
Just then, someone entered the room beyond the glass.
A small figure with purple hair—Longinus.
The sight of her alone made his teeth clench with rage, but the mere fact that someone had come gave him a glimmer of hope.
He had to gather information from her.
“So, is this what you mean by ‘protection’? Locking me in a white prison?”
“It’s the safest place. The outside world is dangerous.”
“And if the Apostles find this place? I’ll be dead before I can resist, and the Holy Grail will be stolen.”
Despite the logic in his argument, Longinus merely shook her head calmly.
“They will never find this place.”
“…”
He hadn’t managed to gain any useful information yet.
Any small piece of information would do; he had to figure something out.
“How long has it been since I lost consciousness? Have the Apostles already invaded the academy?”
“I can’t tell you.”
“Why not?”
“I’m not allowed to say.”
Her evasive answers made Si woo grit his teeth in frustration.
He couldn’t just stay here like this. He needed to meet Hana as soon as possible.
“Why can’t you say anything? Did the committee order you to keep quiet? You’re nothing but a puppet following their commands.”
At his words, for the first time, a faint hint of emotion showed in Longinus’s eyes as she frowned.
“I am not a puppet.”
“Yeah, right. Then why are you doing this? In the end, it’s all because of the committee’s orders.”
Their argument continued through the glass, both of them staring each other down.
Longinus, frowning, finally responded.
“I was only asked to do this.”
“Oh, now you call orders a ‘request’?”
“It wasn’t the committee who asked me.”
A clear denial.
Though it could be a trick, she seemed to be telling the truth.
From what he’d seen of her so far, she didn’t seem like someone who relied on deceit.
Feeling a surge of curiosity, Si woo asked cautiously, “If it wasn’t the committee, then who asked you?”
She looked him in the eye and answered.
“Kim Si woo.”
“…What?”
Her bizarre response left Si woo speechless.
Longinus kindly repeated herself.
“You asked me.”
“What nonsense are you talking about?”
He had supposedly made this request?
No matter how much he tried to recall, nothing came to mind.
Longinus, who had been speaking so strangely, suddenly fell silent and stared at him, her head tilted in confusion.
“Who are you?”
“…”
Is she crazy?
Then again, she hadn’t seemed normal from the beginning.
Not only was her name unusual, but she had always been shrouded in mystery.
Feeling an unsettling chill, Si woo decided to abandon the conversation.
It was clear he wouldn’t be able to extract any useful information from her.
As he sat down in his chair and lowered his head, she left him with one last cryptic statement.
“You won’t have to wait much longer. He’ll be here soon.”
“Who? Explain yourself properly!”
Unable to hold back his suppressed anger, he shouted, but by then, she had already vanished beyond the glass.
Once again, Si woo was left alone.
Feeling helpless in this white prison, he repeatedly pounded on the glass, until he finally collapsed from exhaustion.

“What a refreshing morning.”
Someone muttered as they watched the dawn.
The twelve Apostles had finally gathered in one place, all of them admiring the beautiful scene from the sky.
“Indeed. The perfect weather for a war.”
Beneath them was a miniature view of the academy.
A dragon flapped its wings as it flew high above.
The time for war had finally arrived.
Each Apostle gazed at the academy below, each with their own unique expression.
At the front, the Black Goat spoke.
“It begins. The destruction of the academy.”
With his declaration, the dragon opened its mouth, unleashing a white flame.
The academy’s protective barriers, facing an attack akin to a natural disaster, began to melt away.
A massive magic circle then appeared in the sky, covering the entire area.
The barrier, which had started to regenerate, was blocked by the overwhelming magic from the circle, leaving the sky wide open, exposing its vulnerabilities.
“Let’s go.”
Leading the way, Black Goat and ten Apostles leaped from the sky.
The sight of Apostles descending from the sky stirred a commotion below.
Once they all landed, Black Goat extended his arms and shouted.
“Retrieve the Holy Grail and kill everyone you see!”
With his proclamation, the war began.
The Golden Lion was the first to move.
With a chilling laugh, he mercilessly slaughtered the students on the streets.
“Ha ha! Yes! This is it!”
Of course, the academy didn’t sit idly by.
Realizing that Apostles had infiltrated, heroes rushed to stop them.
Countless attacks rained down on the eleven enemies.
Blue Shark raised a wall of waves to block the attacks.
Then Green Horse drew his sword and sliced through his foes in a single blow.
The academy, overwhelmed by their sheer strength, was rendered helpless.
In an instant, the peaceful streets transformed into a nightmarish scene of blood and corpses.
Watching the battle from a distance, Purple Fox muttered nonchalantly, seeming unimpressed.
“What’s this? It seems too easy. Looks like the newbie and I can slack off a bit, right?”
“The teacher will scold you.”
“Hm. That’s a bit scary.”
Once the surroundings were roughly cleared, Black Goat addressed the Apostles.
“Spread out and find the Holy Grail. Capture the imposter if possible, but kill anyone else on sight.”
“Got it.”
“Understood.”
Following Black Goat’s orders, the Apostles scattered, each searching for the Holy Grail.
White Sheep wandered alone, exploring the area.
She didn’t kill anyone directly. Instead, she continued to revive the dead and set them loose.
Someone eventually blocked her path.
Even so, White Sheep remained unperturbed and asked in a casual tone.
“Do you happen to know where the Holy Grail is?”
“I never thought the Apostles would actually invade this far.”
A boy in a school uniform, presumably a student, muttered with a sinister smile.
“Good… I’ll test my new powers on you. You look weak, even for an Apostle, so I should be able to win.”
“It seems you don’t know.”
“Die!!”
The boy screamed as he recklessly charged at her.
He was incredibly fast. White Sheep tried to back away and use her powers, but her opponent was just a bit faster.
A straightforward punch.
Was it body enhancement? As she calmly assessed his ability, White Sheep noted something strange.
His fighting skills were poor, yet his physical strength was overwhelmingly superior.
If he had trained normally, his abilities should have developed more evenly.
His attack pattern was simple, just repeated punches.
But the sheer speed and power made it genuinely threatening.
White Sheep enhanced her body with her abilities, dodging each attack calmly and countering as she went.
Using a staff of light, she struck her opponent’s exposed neck with precision.
“Ugh!”
Her opponent flew backward.
For a moment, even White Sheep was startled.
She had intended to pierce his neck with all her strength, yet his neck remained intact.
It was as if she had struck metal instead of human flesh.
His physical resilience far surpassed that of any ordinary academy student.
Watching him lie motionless, White Sheep decided to ensure the job was done by unleashing her power.
“…”
Though the battle was one-sided, White Sheep felt a sense of unease.
The enemy’s force was unusual.
