Chapter 32: Let the war start
The next day arrived, as Both Celestia and all 7 of her Princess Knight where there, as there was the holographic image of Aiden, as there was badly drawn man of will everything.
Aiden just looked at them. "Don't laugh".
Aiden's face was stern as he gestured toward the holographic map that displayed the fractured territories. The image was, indeed, poorly drawn, with jagged borders and uneven sections, but the essence of the conflict was clear. Each section represented a different power: Celestine's Kingdom to the top, Olga's Dark Lands on the left, and his own Neutral Area in the middle. The Orc problem was clearly a threat to all of them, and Aiden's focus was sharp despite the ridicule.
Celestine and her seven Princess Knights stood before him, silent for a moment, trying to contain their laughter at the crude map. But the laughter soon died down, and the gravity of the situation sank in. The stakes were high, and no matter how much they mocked Aiden's art skills, the war effort was something none of them could afford to treat lightly.
Olga's holographic image chuckled, still unable to resist poking fun. "You have so much power, and you can't even draw a decent map. Maybe you should leave that to someone else," she teased, a smirk evident in her voice.
Maia, one of Celestine's knights, joined in with a chuckle. "Yeah, the slime that can make weapons out of nowhere can't even sketch a simple map." She was clearly amused by the irony of it all.
Aiden's expression twitched, a visible tick mark appearing on his forehead. He had grown used to the teasing, but this was not the time for humor. His patience was thin, but he bit his tongue for the moment. "Alright, alright. Shut up, all of you," he snapped, clearly done with the jokes. "Here's the real issue, and I don't care if the map looks like it was drawn by a toddler. Look at the bigger picture."
He pointed to the map, highlighting the three territories. "This Kingdom is divided into three parts. Celestine's seven kingdoms to the north, Olga's Dark Lands to the left, and the Neutral Area in the center where I have the most control. The Orc problem affects all three of us. If we don't do something about it quickly, we're all going to be caught in the crossfire."
Celestine's gaze shifted from Aiden's hologram to the map, her expression serious now. "So, what's your plan to deal with them?"
Aiden's eyes narrowed, his tone cold and focused. "We need to push the Orcs out of the territories and neutralize their threat. But we can't just rush in without strategy. If we hit them head-on, they'll only regroup and fight back harder. We need a calculated approach. Celestine, your knights will handle the western front in Olga's Dark Lands. Olga, you'll use your monsters to push the Orcs away from the southern borders of your lands."
Olga, still in her holographic form, nodded with an air of authority. "Fine. But you'll owe me for this, Aiden," she said, her voice dripping with her usual arrogance.
Aiden barely acknowledged her comment, his eyes focused on the problem at hand. "I know. And as for my part, I'll send my Goblins and Inferno Wolves to handle the middle and eastern fronts. We'll sweep the Orcs out of the Neutral Area and prevent them from re-entering any of the territories. Once we have a stronghold, we can push into their main base."
There was a moment of silence as everyone absorbed the plan.
Celestine crossed her arms, her expression thoughtful. "And you think that will be enough? The Orcs have a large army, and if we underestimate them, we might just end up strengthening their resolve."
Aiden's voice remained steady. "I'm not underestimating them. But we have the advantage. The Orcs are fragmented right now. If we push them hard enough, we'll break their coordination. Olga and I will maintain a two-pronged attack on their central forces, while you and your knights will focus on controlling their supply routes and cutting off reinforcements."
The seven Princess Knights exchanged looks, clearly processing the scope of Aiden's strategy. Some of them seemed doubtful, others nodded in agreement. It was a bold plan, but it had potential—if they could execute it correctly.
Aiden continued, "After we've dealt with the Orcs, we'll need to start rebuilding the territories. Celestine, you'll need to establish a provisional government to ensure that the Dark Lands are reintegrated and stabilized. Olga, you'll keep control of your territory, but you'll have to adhere to the peace treaty. If you don't, I will intervene."
Olga didn't look pleased with the idea of being monitored, but she didn't argue. "I'll play along for now," she said reluctantly. "But don't think for a second that I'll be your ally forever, Aiden."
Aiden didn't react to her threat. "You don't have to be my ally. But if you want to survive, you'll need to cooperate."
Celestine, finally breaking her silence, spoke up. "This is all very ambitious. But if we do this, the Orcs won't just disappear. They'll fight back. How long are you prepared to keep this up?"
Aiden's gaze hardened. "As long as it takes. This isn't just about fighting Orcs. It's about eliminating the chaos and bringing order to these lands. We all have something to gain from this—if we succeed."
With that, the meeting came to a close, and the plans were set in motion. The tension was high, and the stakes were even higher. There was no turning back now. Each party had agreed to their roles, and now, the real battle for control of the territories—and the future—was about to begin.
Olga looked at Aiden. "So what do you suggest, where are the orcs coming from".
Aiden looked at them. "Will they are definitely not form the dark lands, I have seen your orcs, and Celestine Kingdom has no Monsters".
Olga smirked as she looked at him. "Which mens they are your people, they are from the Nuteral area".
Aiden rolled his eyes. "Again, any that survived I am taking them, I believe they are mind control".
Olga's smirk deepened as she watched Aiden's reaction, her eyes gleaming with a mixture of amusement and suspicion. "Mind control, you say? You think someone is controlling them? How quaint," she said, her tone dripping with sarcasm.
Aiden, visibly annoyed by her mockery, stood firm. "Yes. And I'm not the one who's been sending Orcs into my territory. These creatures are definitely not acting of their own free will. Someone's pulling their strings, and whoever it is wants to destabilize all three of our kingdoms."
Celestine, who had been silently listening, leaned forward, her brow furrowed in thought. "So you believe this is some sort of coordinated attack? Someone using the Orcs as pawns?"
Aiden nodded. "Exactly. It's not just random raids. Whoever is controlling them has a clear goal. They're trying to create chaos, to weaken our territories by turning us against each other. If we don't stop them, they'll succeed."
Olga raised an eyebrow, her expression turning more serious now. "And you think that someone is in your kingdom, Aiden?"
"Perhaps," Aiden replied, his gaze narrowing. "The Orcs have been using my territory as a staging ground for their raids. It's either someone inside my domain or someone manipulating them from the outside. Either way, we need to find the source."
Maia, who had been quietly observing, finally spoke up. "If it's in Aiden's territory, we'll need to send scouts to look for any signs of a hidden force or any unusual activity. There's no telling where they're hiding."
Aiden agreed, his expression resolute. "I'll send Kotarou and his team to investigate the area. They're good at tracking things down without being noticed."
Olga's holographic image flickered slightly, and she seemed to consider the implications. "So, if we eliminate the mind controller, the Orcs will fall apart? You're confident of that?"
"I am," Aiden replied firmly. "Once we sever the connection, the Orcs will stop fighting. But we need to act quickly. If the mastermind behind this is still controlling them, it won't be long before they send even more troops to reinforce their forces."
Celestine nodded thoughtfully. "Then we'll have to move fast. The longer we wait, the more time the enemy has to regroup."
Olga's smirk returned. "And what do we do once the Orcs are neutralized? We'll be left with Aiden's goblins and inferno wolves, and my dark elves. I'm not trusting anyone else with this power."
Aiden shot her a sharp glance. "We'll divide the territories as we agreed upon. You keep the Dark Lands, Celestine will keep her Kingdom, and I'll control the Neutral Area. The Orcs are a problem for now, but once they're gone, we'll need to stabilize the region."
Olga didn't seem pleased by the idea but didn't argue. "I'll tolerate it for now. But remember, Aiden, you and I aren't allies forever. If you step out of line, don't expect my cooperation."
Aiden didn't flinch. "I don't need you to be my ally. I just need you to keep your word for now."
The tension in the room was palpable as each of them prepared for the coming battle. The war wasn't just about the Orcs; it was about maintaining control, power, and influence over their respective territories. But as the conversation moved forward, it became clear that the real challenge lay ahead—figuring out who was behind the Orcs and their mind control, and how to deal with the fallout once the enemy's puppet strings were cut.
The meeting ended, as Aiden sat down as he saw Radomira.
Aiden looked at his girlfriend as he spoken. "You know what to do, destroyed Kuroinu when you get the chance".
Radomira then smirked. "And make sure to make it look like an accident, you don't have to repeat we both know what will happen in the future, but tell me how will you get there souls".
Aiden srugged. "Great Red will help, I will find a spell, and I can feel the 4th barrier inside of me Brekaing ans great red is more close to breaking, that why I am speed running this".
Radomira's eyes narrowed with understanding as she processed Aiden's words. "So, you're planning to harness the chaos and use it to your advantage... You plan on breaking through the barrier and using Great Red's power to collect their souls."
Aiden nodded, a determined look in his eyes. "Exactly. I can't afford to waste any time. Every step I take gets me closer to the power I need. Once the Kuroinu are out of the way, I'll be one step closer to ascending."
Radomira leaned against the wall, folding her arms with a smirk. "You always have a plan, don't you? But the Kuroinu... They're not just some random group. If you mess with them, it won't just be a political shift. It'll cause ripples across the entire world. Are you ready for that?"
Aiden's expression remained cold, his mind focused. "I know the stakes. I've already calculated the risks. They're nothing but pawns. It's time to remove the distractions and focus on the bigger picture."
Radomira gave a soft laugh, clearly amused by his unwavering confidence. "Always the strategist, huh? But do you really think Great Red will just give you the power you want? He's not exactly known for being cooperative."
Aiden's eyes glowed faintly, a flicker of power running through him. "I've made an arrangement. Great Red will help me, whether he likes it or not. He doesn't want to be trapped in that barrier any more than I do. It's a mutual benefit."
Radomira raised an eyebrow, clearly impressed but also skeptical. "You really think you can control that power? It's not just any power, Aiden. Great Red's energy is wild, chaotic. You're not just playing with fire, you're handling a force that could burn everything down if you're not careful."
"I know," Aiden replied, his voice low and serious. "But it's a risk I'm willing to take. Once I break through the barrier and gain control, nothing will stop me."
Radomira smiled, a mix of admiration and something darker in her gaze. "I like this version of you. Determined, focused. I'll make sure the Kuroinu are dealt with, no traces left. You focus on your... ascension."
Aiden leaned back in his chair, his mind already spinning with the next steps. "Good. I'll need you to be quick. The sooner we deal with them, the faster I can move forward."
Radomira turned to leave, her smirk never fading. "Don't worry, I'll make it look clean. Just be ready for what comes next. The Kuroinu won't be the only problem you'll face when the dust settles."
As she disappeared from the room, Aiden sat there, the weight of his plans pressing down on him. Time was running out, and every decision, every move he made, would bring him closer to his goal. But he knew the risks, and he was willing to face them. Nothing would stand in his way—not the Kuroinu, not Olga, not even Great Red.
The path ahead was dangerous, but it was the only path worth walking.
