Chapter 13: A Very Excited Builder
Luu Luu was many things: the leader of Geofu, one of the seven princess knights of Celestain, a good friend, and a very excitable person. But one thing everyone could agree on—even the dwarves working for her—was that she was a buildoholic. She could craft anything and everything with an enthusiasm that was contagious.
Over the past few days, Claudia had visited her several times. First, she had shown Luu Luu her new armor, and the princess knight had squealed with delight. Then, when Claudia handed her the magical crystal, Luu Luu nearly had a small heart attack from sheer joy. But nothing compared to her reaction when she finally laid eyes on the sword Calibur. At that moment, she began vibrating with excitement, unable to contain herself any longer.
For the next five days, she was locked in her forge, tirelessly working to replicate the legendary sword. Her friends and the dwarves in the nearby smithy watched in concern, fearing that Luu Luu would end up working herself into exhaustion.
From outside her door, the sound of her manic laughter echoed through the corridor.
Celestine shook her head, crossing her arms. "The first time in a few years I leave my city, and this is what is happening."
Claudia leaned against the wall, looking amused. "She's just passionate about her work. Give her a moment, and I'm sure she'll emerge with something extraordinary."
Celestine raised an eyebrow. "Extraordinary? Or just extraordinary amounts of smoke and noise?"
The door swung open, revealing Luu Luu covered in soot, with her eyes sparkling like stars. "Claudia! Celestine-sama! You have to see this!"
Claudia perked up. "What did you create this time?"
Luu Luu rushed past them, dragging the princess knights and Goddess into her workshop. The walls were lined with weapons and tools, each one more intricate than the last. "Look! I made a new version of Calibur, but with added enchantments! It can channel elemental magic now!"
She proudly displayed a glimmering sword, its blade shimmering in hues of blue and gold. Claudia gasped, and Celestine's eyes widened in surprise.
"It's beautiful!" Claudia exclaimed, reaching out to touch the blade.
"Yes! But that's not all!" Luu Luu continued, her tail wagging furiously. "I've also created these!" She gestured to a series of shields lined up on a nearby workbench. Each shield was adorned with intricate designs, emanating a faint magical aura.
"They're enhanced with protective spells and can absorb magic attacks!" Luu Luu beamed. "Imagine what we could do with these in battle!"
Celestine couldn't help but smile at Luu Luu's enthusiasm. "You've outdone yourself again. If only we had more builders like you in Geofu, we could expand our defenses overnight."
Claudia looked at Luu Luu with admiration. "How do you manage to come up with such innovative designs?"
"I just think about what would be useful!" Luu Luu replied, bouncing on her toes. "And then I add a sprinkle of magic and a lot of hard work! Oh, and of course, I listen to the weapons! They always tell me what they want to become!"
Celestine chuckled, shaking her head in disbelief. "You really are one of a kind, Luu Luu. But you do realize you need to rest too, right? Overworking yourself isn't good for anyone."
Luu Luu waved her hand dismissively, still bubbling with energy. "Rest is for the weak! I'm on a roll! Plus, I have a surprise for Aiden and the goblins too!"
Claudia's curiosity piqued. "What kind of surprise?"
"A brand-new training facility! With all the gear I've created, we can turn Aether into a hub for knights and goblins to train together! Imagine the camaraderie we could foster!"
Celestine looked intrigued. "That does sound like a great idea. Aether would benefit from improved defenses, and the goblins would love the opportunity to train alongside the knights."
Claudia smiled. "Then let's get started on it! With Luu Luu's skills and our combined efforts, we can make Aether an even better place!"
Luu Luu clapped her hands together, her excitement infectious. "Yes! Let's do it! We can gather everyone and—"
Just then, the ground shook slightly as a loud crash echoed from the other side of the forge. Luu Luu paused, her ears perking up.
"Oh no… what did I forget to reinforce this time?"
Celestain sighed, her eyes narrowing playfully. "Let's hope it's not your latest experiment."
As they all rushed toward the sound, laughter and camaraderie filled the air, the bonds of friendship growing stronger with each shared adventure.
Luu Luu then looked at the reflection of Calibur in the blade she had just created. "Still, this copy is nothing compared to the original," she muttered, disappointment creeping into her voice.
In a moment of frustration, she raised the sword high and—snap!—the blade shattered in her hands, leaving her wide-eyed in shock. "Oops!" she exclaimed, staring at the broken pieces of metal scattered on the floor.
Claudia and Celestine exchanged glances, trying to stifle their laughter.
Luu Luu quickly turned her attention back to the original Calibur, its shimmering blade radiating with power. "But what a beauty you are!" she cooed, lightly brushing her fingers along the blade's edge. "How did he even create something so magnificent?"
With determination igniting her spirit, Luu Luu stood tall. "I need to meet that slime—Aiden! I must know how he crafted this sword! There has to be some secret technique, some hidden method!"
Claudia giggled, watching as Luu Luu paced back and forth, her tail swaying energetically behind her. "Are you planning to interrogate him or ask him nicely?"
"Both!" Luu Luu replied, her eyes sparkling with excitement. "If he can make something like this, just imagine what else he could do! I have to learn from him!"
Celestine chuckled, shaking her head. "You'll be the first person to ever ask a slime for a master class in sword-making."
Luu Luu nodded vigorously. "Absolutely! Slime or not, if he can create weapons with such power, he's worth learning from! Besides, I can teach him a few things too!"
With newfound resolve, Luu Luu grabbed her tools and began to tidy up her workspace, her mind racing with plans. "Let's head to Aiden's village! I want to see his workshop and figure out his secrets!"
Claudia stoped Luu Luu. "You do remeber where Aiden village is right".
Luu Luu just looked back at her. "Yes In the Neutral Area".
Celestine just sigehd. "Will does he still want to meet me"
Claudia bown down to the goddes reborn. "Not yeat, he said he will need a bit more time he was planning something to suprise you"
Luu Luu stopped and looked at her. "Planning something?"
Claudia paused, her brows furrowing slightly as she recalled Aiden's words. "Yes, he mentioned he was planning something special, but he didn't go into details. He wants it to be a surprise for you, Celestine."
Luu Luu's eyes widened with curiosity, her tail swishing back and forth. "A surprise? For Celestine? What could it possibly be? I can't even imagine what he's cooking up!"
Celestine placed a hand on her chin, her expression contemplative. "Knowing Aiden, it could be something quite unique. He's always full of surprises."
Claudia nodded, her excitement bubbling over. "And he's really good at crafting things! Whatever it is, I'm sure it'll be amazing."
Luu Luu clapped her hands together, a gleam of determination in her eyes. "Then we need to make sure we don't interrupt his plans! But that doesn't mean I can't learn from him in the meantime!"
Celestine smiled softly, appreciating Luu Luu's enthusiasm. "Just be careful not to push him too hard. He may be a slime, but he's got a lot on his plate."
Luu Luu nodded vigorously. "Of course! I'll be polite and respectful, but I won't hold back when it comes to learning. I can't wait to see what he's been working on!"
Claudia chuckled. "Just don't break anything again like you did with the sword!"
Luu Luu waved her hand dismissively. "That was an accident! I'll be more careful this time. I promise!"
Celestine shook her head, a light smile gracing her lips. "You're always so eager, Luu Luu. It's one of your most admirable qualities."
As they continued their journey towards Aiden's village, the anticipation in the air was palpable. Each step brought them closer to Aiden, the slime with the incredible talents that had captured their interest and sparked their creativity.
Luu Luu's mind raced with ideas, envisioning all the possibilities that lay ahead. "I wonder if he has any new inventions or materials we haven't seen yet. I can't wait to see his workshop! Maybe I can even help him with his projects!"
Claudia giggled. "Just remember to give him space to work on his surprise for Celestain. That's the main priority."
"Of course! But that doesn't mean I can't learn a thing or two while I'm there," Luu Luu replied with a grin, her excitement infectious.
Luu Luu looked at Claudia. "So when are we going"
Claudia just sigehd. "I can't go I have not been in my home for a while..I miss my husband so I will takeing my leaves for a while".
Luu Luu just blibked. "Then I will be going, i mean it will only...2 week's...is Maia free"
Claudia just looked at Luu Luu. "No she is busy handling her kingdom of Ansur and working with Kuroinu"
Luu Luu looked at them. "Shit...and let me gess Vault is also out of the question, who gave the idea of each of us princess knight to run a kingdom dum idea".
As then they heard sniffles as they saw Celestain crying like an anime Character in a comical way.
Celestine looked at them. "I didn't know you girls though my Idea was dum".
Claudia looked at she goddes. "No Goddes she didn't mean it right
Luu Luu quickly jumped in, waving her hands defensively. "Yes! I mean, it's a brilliant idea, but… you know, a bit overwhelming sometimes!"
Celestine sniffled, wiping her tears dramatically with the back of her hand. "I just wanted us to be strong leaders for our people!"
Claudia stepped closer, trying to comfort her. "And you are! You're doing great, Celestine. But sometimes, it would be nice to have some support from the others."
Luu Luu nodded enthusiastically. "Exactly! It's not that we don't appreciate what you've done, but it can be a lot to handle alone. A little help now and then wouldn't hurt."
Celestine took a deep breath, her expression softening as she realized the truth in their words. "You're right. I just want what's best for everyone, but I can't do it all by myself."
Claudia offered a warm smile. "We all want the same thing, but teamwork makes the dream work, right?"
Luu Luu perked up. "So, can I go to Aiden's village alone, then? I really need to learn about that sword!"
Claudia sighed, her concern lingering. "Just be careful, Luu Luu. The Neutral Area can be unpredictable. Make sure you don't bite off more than you can chew."
"Don't worry!" Luu Luu said, practically bouncing on her feet. "I'll just borrow some materials and come back with something even better than Calibur!"
Celestine watched her with a mixture of admiration and exasperation. "Just remember to be respectful to Aiden and his villagers. They may be different from us, but they have their own ways."
"Of course, I'll be on my best behavior!" Luu Luu declared, though her enthusiasm hinted otherwise.
As Luu Luu prepared to leave, Claudia couldn't help but smile at her friend's determination. "Good luck! I'll be here, missing you and wishing I could join you on your adventure."
Luu Luu gave her a thumbs-up, a determined grin on her face. "I'll bring you back something amazing! You'll see!"
With that, Luu Luu set off towards the Neutral Area, her excitement radiating through her every movement. Celestine and Claudia exchanged glances, both feeling a mixture of worry and hope for their friend as she embarked on her quest.
Meanwhile with Aiden as he was seating on Radomira lapp, as his slime body was moving.
Radomira looked at him. "So how did created Calibur"
Aiden moved to the desk. "Will smile, after Absorbing so many crystals and mats from the Monster dungeons, I analytics the structure, speed up the manufacturering process, imagine the sword, speed up the enhancement process with magic, and thanks to Great Sage I made the sword".
Radomira just looked at him. "So you basically pulled Emiya Archer from Fate".
Aiden chuckled, his slime body rippling with amusement. "You could say that! It's not exactly the same, but I did take inspiration from various sources. My own experience combined with the materials allowed me to create something special."
Radomira tilted her head, intrigued. "So, it was all about understanding the materials and using your magic to manipulate them? That sounds like a complex process."
"Exactly," Aiden replied, his voice filled with enthusiasm. "I had to analyze each material's properties—strength, durability, and magical conductivity. Then, I imagined the sword in its perfected form, which is where the enhancement magic came in."
Radomira nodded, impressed. "And you think Luu Luu will be able to replicate it?"
Aiden shrugged slightly. "I hope so. She's skilled, and with the right materials, I believe she can create something similar. But the challenge will be understanding the concept behind the sword's creation."
Radomira leaned closer, her curiosity piqued. "What if she adds her own flair to it? Would that change the outcome?"
"Absolutely," Aiden said, his eyes sparkling with excitement. "Every craftsman has their own style, which influences the final product. If Luu Luu infuses her own creativity, the sword might turn out even better than the original!"
Radomira smiled at his enthusiasm. "You really enjoy this whole creation process, don't you?"
Aiden nodded, his slime body pulsating. "I do! There's something incredibly satisfying about taking raw materials and turning them into something beautiful and functional. It's like alchemy, but with a twist!"
Just then, a gentle knock interrupted their conversation. The door creaked open, revealing King, who stepped inside with a curious expression.
"Sorry to interrupt, but I've heard some interesting things about this sword, Calibur," he said, glancing between Aiden and Radomira. "Could you share a bit more? It seems to be causing quite the stir among the knights."
Aiden turned his attention to King, ready to explain. "Of course! I was just telling Radomira how I created it. If you're interested, I can break down the process for you too."
King grinned. "I would love to hear it. Anything that can improve our craftsmanship is worth learning about!"
With that, Aiden dove back into the details of his creation process, his enthusiasm drawing King and Radomira into a fascinating discussion about swordsmithing, magical enhancements, and the nuances of crafting in their unique world.
