I Became an Unknown Professor at the Academy

Chapter 115

It was early in the morning.
Claire’s eyelids fluttered. Soon, her hazy blue eyes opened, still a bit dazed.
Her vision was blurry, and her body felt sluggish and her back ached. Her lower abdomen throbbed, and her thighs ached.
Claire, still half-asleep, cautiously lifted her head. There, she saw Baek Woo-jin’s peaceful face, eyes closed.
She blinked a few times, staring blankly at him, then slowly buried her face in his chest.
As she inhaled his scent, her heart fluttered with excitement. She tightened her embrace around his waist, not wanting to forget the sensation of his warm skin against hers.
‘It wasn’t a dream…’
His breath on her hair, the beating of his heart, and the defined muscles under their intertwined limbs told her that last night was real.
Claire’s face, which had been relaxed and happy with her eyes closed, suddenly flushed bright red. As her mind cleared, the memories of yesterday became more vivid.
She remembered how he had held her down, and how she had panted and begged him to wait, crying that her head felt strange. They had looked into each other’s eyes, sometimes like wild animals, and other times, she had straddled him, moving her hips as he guided her.
‘I want to die…’
Overwhelmed with embarrassment, Claire’s face turned crimson. But despite her shame, her body was growing warmer.
The intense pleasure, unlike anything she had ever experienced before, was causing significant changes in her body and mind.
“Ah…”
Claire, who had been rubbing her thighs, still bearing the marks of their lovemaking, lifted her head.
‘Training…’
She wanted to stay in his arms forever, but she knew it was too much to ask.
Claire carefully wiggled, trying to figure out how to get out of his arms without waking him.
Thump.
Something touched her lower abdomen, something soft and squishy, yet unmistakably the same thing that had tormented her relentlessly yesterday.
Claire swallowed hard. She knew she should get out of bed and prepare, but her body wasn’t cooperating.
Her heart raced, and she slowly moved her hand down his waist, carefully bringing it to the gap between them.
“You’re up early.”
“@#^!&!&”
Claire heard the voice of her beloved, the one she wanted to hear the most, yet the one she least wanted to hear right now. She jerked her body and blurted out unintelligible words.
“You’ll fall.”
“Ah, oh, ouch…”
His sturdy arm wrapped around her waist, and she couldn’t resist. She was pulled back into his embrace.
“How’s your body?”
“I-I’m fine…”
She bit her tongue and hid her face in his chest. She felt so embarrassed that she wanted to bite her tongue and die.
Suddenly, the arm that had been supporting her head moved, lifting her chin slightly.
Before Claire could react, Woo-jin’s lips gently touched hers.
It was a light kiss, almost like a greeting. His warmth seeped into her, and the tingling in her tongue subsided. It was a gentle and tender kiss, unlike the one from the day before.
“Are you calm now?”
“Y-yes.”
It was a lie. She felt like her heart was about to burst.
“Is that so? I was going to do it again if you needed more.”
“Ah…”
Claire’s eyes widened at his playful response, and she opened her mouth to speak.
“What’s wrong?”
“You’re teasing me.”
Claire pouted and turned her head away, and a faint smile appeared on Woo-jin’s face.
He pulled her close, and Claire, startled, wrapped her arms around his neck.
“Professor…”
Claire blushed as she recalled the events of yesterday while looking into his golden eyes.
Even after calling his name so many times in bed, she still felt excited and shy.
“From now on, when we’re alone, call me by my name.”
“Yes.”
Claire quietly snuggled into his arms as they entered the bathroom.
.
.
.
“Then, I’ll see you at the mansion.”
Claire quietly left the room, tucking a strand of hair behind her ear that he had gently arranged.
With each step, her lower body throbbed and ached. She could have easily healed the pain with her divine power, but she chose not to.
She didn’t seem to like the pain, but Claire considered it a part of the mark he had left on her.
“Hehehehe~”
“…”
As soon as Claire came down the stairs, she heard Lee Yesol’s lewd laughter and quickly composed herself.
“Executioner.”
“What is it?”
Claire responded curtly as she headed for the door. Yesol watched her superior’s retreating figure and spoke.
“I’ve assigned the paladins and priests to night patrol.”
“…”
Claire quickened her pace.
“And I’ll have the bedroom door replaced with one engraved with a soundproofing seal.”
A thick, heavy temple door crumbled into pieces.
.
.
.
Not long after Claire left, a most annoying being appeared.
Without any warning, it manifested with a mischievous smile, perched on the bed, and just laughed without saying a word, as it’s doing now.
“If you have nothing to say, get lost.”
After what happened yesterday, I needed some time to recover before facing Baek Hana. Naturally, this required concentration, and the creature in front of me was a significant distraction.
【How rude! You, the man who took my precious daughter’s innocence!】
“…”
I didn’t feel the need to respond. Apparently dissatisfied with my reaction, the creature puffed out its cheeks and jumped onto the bed.
【What’s that supposed to mean?!】
“Shut up.”
Yesterday, with Claire by my side, the pain had been dulled, but after she left, the damaged parts of my body began to ache. Every time the creature shouted, my head throbbed, and I grew more irritated.
“If you don’t have a specific reason to be here, leave. I’m not in the mood for your antics right now.”
【Hmmph!】
The creature didn’t seem to have a specific reason for being here, so I didn’t feel the need to respond. It seemed to have expected this reaction, so it quickly shifted its attention elsewhere.
【Are you not going to erase this?】
The long scar on my back. If anyone saw it, they might mistake it for the mark of a beast’s attack.
“No.”
As long as I remain myself, I will never erase it. It’s a mark she left on me…
【Approved!】
“…”
I didn’t say anything. The creature didn’t seem to expect a response, so it slowly climbed down from my shoulder and stood at the foot of the bed.
【When I first made a deal with you, I thought you were a dangerous disaster waiting to happen.】
“You’re right.”
In reality, if the emptiness within me were to awaken, it would be far worse than a disaster.
【So, I thought, why not take the opportunity to get rid of you?】
“And now you’ve changed your mind?”
【Yes. The main reason is that if you were gone, our Claire would be sad.】
“I’ll have to thank her later.”
【Ugh…】
The creature pretended to retch, as if it had internal organs, which it didn’t.
【I wanted Claire to be happy, but I didn’t want to see her so lovey-dovey…】
Bwiar shrank to the size of a fairy and rubbed her hand over her mouth as she stood up. She wiped away the mischievous look on her face and said,
【I don’t know exactly what you’re planning, but I don’t think it will lead to a bad outcome. Most importantly…】
Once again, a faint light emanated from Bwiar’s body. When the light faded, Viar, in her true form as a woman, stood before me.
【In the process, even if my child is sad, she won’t fall apart.】
Bwiar’s hand touched my cheek.
【Thank you for your consideration. I promise to do the same for you if the opportunity arises.】
“If you remember.”
【Yes. If I remember.】
Bwiar smiled faintly and slowly lowered her hand from my cheek.
【But do you know?】
Her figure gradually faded as she tapped her left cheek and smiled softly.
【The first person who left a mark on you wasn’t her…】
It was me.
