Under the night sky of Earth-3, two figures clashed, their singular goal: to win.
"Arghhhhhh!" Cisco yelled, charging forward recklessly, or so it seemed to Gypsy. Scoffing at the amateur display, she barely gave it a thought before thrusting her hand out, unleashing a beam of energy.
Cisco's heads-up display flashed a warning, predicting the attack's trajectory. He sidestepped just in time, though the energy grazed him. Fortunately, his energy shield absorbed most of the impact, nullifying its lethal force.
Gypsy, caught off guard, barely had time to react before Cisco countered with a sudden burst of power. The force sent her flying backward several meters, skidding to a halt as she gritted her teeth against the pain.
She steadied herself, her expression a mix of frustration and defiance. "It's not too late to stop this fight, Cisco," she said through clenched teeth. "The dinner offer is still on the table."
Gypsy, caught off guard by Cisco, now wore a more serious expression. Rising to her feet, she stared intently at him.
"You've shown yours. It's only fair I show mine," she said.
Extending her arms sideways, she formed a breach and vanished into it. Cisco tensed, turning left and right, trying to anticipate her next move.
Suddenly, a flash of light from his blind spot grabbed his attention. But it was too late. A vibration beam struck him, sending him sprawling to the ground. The force rattled his very bones, though his energy shield absorbed some of the damage.
"Damn, that hurt," Cisco muttered, wincing as he scrambled to his feet. He barely turned in time to see Gypsy aiming another blast at him. On instinct, he dove to the side, narrowly avoiding the attack.
But there was no reprieve. Gypsy unleashed a barrage of beams, keeping Cisco on the defensive and giving him no chance to counter.
Panting heavily, Cisco ducked behind a tree, using its trunk as cover while trying to catch his breath. But before he could regroup, a flash of light erupted nearby—a breach tearing open before him.
Gypsy emerged with precision, her special move already in play. She fired a beam at Cisco, who barely managed to leap aside in time. The tree exploded into splinters, leaving him painfully aware of how poor his choice of cover had been.
Scrambling to his feet, Cisco realized Gypsy was relentless. She had shifted her tactics to something far more aggressive, closing the distance in an instant. Her attacks came in rapid succession—tens of blows landing on Cisco in mere moments.
Untrained in combat and without experience to fall back on, Cisco found himself at a severe disadvantage. He tried firing vibrational blasts to create distance, but Gypsy deflected them with ease or forced him to stop before he could fully charge them.
In minutes, his face bore bruises, and his movements slowed under the mounting injuries. A well-placed kick from Gypsy sent him sprawling to the ground, gasping for air.
Cisco gritted his teeth in frustration. He was losing—badly. His body ached from multiple injuries, while Gypsy stood unscathed, barely winded.
The prototype forcefield he had hastily developed was the only reason he'd lasted this long. Without enough time to properly refine it, its limitations were glaring. The sheer number of attacks he had endured was gruesome, and even now, the field was faltering.
"You're tougher than I expected," Gypsy remarked, a trace of amusement in her tone. The fact that Cisco had lasted this long was surprising. By now, most would have fallen to her relentless melee and energy assaults. Yet here he was, battered but still conscious and defiant.
Cisco didn't bother with a reply, his glare burning with resentment.
"Normally, I wouldn't extend this offer to anyone," she continued, her voice cool and deliberate. "But I'll make an exception for you. Forfeit now, and I'll spare your life."
Her words hung in the air, but Cisco didn't hesitate. His mind was elsewhere, focused on a single thought. "What about HR?" he demanded, his voice sharp with bitterness.
Gypsy's expression didn't waver. "He still comes with me," she said, her tone as cold as ever.
Cisco's jaw tightened. He forced himself to his feet, his body trembling but his resolve unwavering. "If that's the case," he spat, "I'd rather die!"
With a roar, he charged at her, his anger propelling him forward. But in an instant, a searing crimson beam slammed into his chest. The impact sent him hurtling through the air, the wind knocked out of him as he landed meters away.
Coughing, he spat out a mouthful of blood, his lungs screaming for air as pain surged through his body.
Sensing the danger of the moment, Cisco scrambled to pull out the serum Wally had given him. Without a second thought, he jabbed it into his neck, emptying the entire vial in one swift motion. A strange, soothing chill spread through his veins, coursing into his bones and muscles.
The agonizing pain vanished almost instantly, replaced by a surge of vitality. Strength flowed back into his limbs, and he could feel his vibing abilities intensify. It was as if his senses had been sharpened, his body revitalized.
The sound of approaching footsteps snapped him back to reality. Cisco quickly took advantage of the situation, pretending to crawl away in pain, masking his regeneration.
"I gave you a chance, Cisco," Gypsy said solemnly, her voice tinged with regret. "You were the one who didn't take it." She reached down to grab him by his hair, her movements decisive but reluctant.
But something felt off—her instincts screamed a warning. Unfortunately for her, it was already too late.
Just as her hand reached for him, Cisco whipped around with a fierce shout, "Yah!" He extended his arm, releasing a continuous wave of vibrational energy.
The force hit Gypsy like a speeding truck, sending her flying backward like a ragdoll. She tumbled across the ground for tens of meters, crashing into debris as Cisco kept up his attack.
Only when he was fully satisfied did he lower his arm, letting the energy dissipate. His chest heaved as he exhaled, adjusting to the invigorating power now coursing through him.
He wiped the blood from his chin, a smirk forming on his face. "Not bad," he muttered to himself, already feeling the confidence of his newfound strength.
After several agonizing seconds, Gypsy dragged herself out of the rubble. Her limbs trembled, her vision blurred, and pain radiated through her chest like never before. Blood trickled down her face, her pride stinging more than her wounds. Never in her life had she imagined being reduced to such a pitiful state—especially by an amateur like Cisco.
She glared at him, but her expression shifted to one of curiosity. How was he still standing? The attack she had used should have immobilized him, leaving him unable to continue. Yet there he was, steady and seemingly unharmed.
"Gypsy, let's end this now," Cisco said, trying to mask the slight tremor in his voice. "You're in no shape to keep fighting. Just call it—declare me the winner."
Gypsy ignored his plea, her determination unwavering. With sheer willpower, she pushed herself to her feet, her body swaying under the strain. Summoning her last reserves, she disappeared into a breach, reappearing mere inches away from Cisco in an attempt to land a decisive blow.
But to her shock, Cisco anticipated her move. Before she could fully exit the breach, he lunged forward, spearing her mid-motion. Both of them tumbled into the breach together, vanishing from sight.

On Earth-1, Team Flash was in chaos. Alarms blared, and the room buzzed with tension. Only Wally and Julian seemed calm enough to think clearly. Suddenly, Cisco's suit tracker pinged back online, triggering an alert.
"Julian, access any nearby cameras," Wally ordered, his voice steady amidst the commotion.
The team quickly crowded around as Julian worked, pulling up the feed. Moments later, the screen displayed the battlefield. There stood Cisco—tall, steady, and completely unscathed. Gypsy, meanwhile, struggled to stand, her legs buckling beneath her. Despite her efforts, she collapsed back to her knees, staring up at Cisco in disbelief.
Team Flash erupted in cheers. HR banged his drumsticks excitedly, while Iris and Caitlin embraced in relief. Wally grinned widely. "He did it. Finally."
Gypsy gasped for breath, her arms hanging limply by her sides. "I've lost," she admitted, her voice barely audible. "My life is yours to take."
Cisco blinked, stunned by her declaration. "No, no, no—that's not how we do things here," he replied, shaking his head firmly. He had never intended to kill her.
"How about instead... I take you out for din—" Before he could finish, Gypsy swayed on her feet, her body giving out. Cisco darted forward to catch her, cradling her gently as she lost consciousness.
He stared down at her, a small smile creeping across his face. He had won. And now, he had to figure out what came next. Deep down, he silently thanked the person who had made his victory possible. Moments later, Barry arrived.
