Chapter 68: King's Landing; The Unification

The Silver Moon Legion began its advance on King's Landing. Their approach was a spectacle of overwhelming might. Dragons soared high above, their majestic forms silhouetted against the crimson dawn. Beneath them, columns of soldiers marched in perfect unison, their silver armor glinting like mirrors. The road to the capital seemed to tremble beneath their disciplined steps.

In the heart of the column, Alex rode his black dragon, its scales absorbing the sunlight like a void. Their combined presence radiated an air of inevitability.

As the Legion approached the city, the defenders on the walls faltered. Catapults and scorpions were manned, but the sight of dragons circling above and the seemingly endless army below made even the most hardened soldiers hesitate.

In Blackwater Bay, where Euron Greyjoy's fleet prepared for attack, several scorpions aimed at the approaching dragons circling the Red Keep. They fired as the dragons glided near, but the bolts were deflected by the dragons' impervious scales. More ships launched their volleys, but the heavy iron arrows, though menacing, lacked the power to injure Alex's dragons.

The commander of the dragon riders signaled, and several dozen riders turned, diving toward the fleet. Dragons unleashed torrents of flame, consuming everything in their path. The water itself seemed to ignite, turning the bay into a sea of fire. Soldiers who leaped from their burning ships found no refuge, as the flames clung to them like oil.

The bay echoed with the screams of the dying, transforming it into a vision of hell. Euron Greyjoy, along with his men and ships, sank to the bottom of the sea.

Cersei Lannister, standing atop the Red Keep, watched the bay in terror. Beside her, Qyburn whispered strategies, though his usual confidence seemed shaken.

"We have the wildfire reserves," Qyburn suggested, his voice quivering. "If we ignite the caches beneath the city, it could—"

Cersei silenced him with a glare. "And destroy the city I rule? No. We will hold the walls. Let them break themselves against our defenses."

Alex landed his dragon near the city gates. As he dismounted, he waited for Daenerys and Jon to approach. Alex received their salute as they planned the complete takeover of the city.

In the Red Keep, Cersei sat on the Iron Throne, her golden hair gleaming in the light cascading through the window behind her. Her armor was ceremonial, a stark contrast to the practical gear of those who truly led from the front. Behind her stood the Mountain, a silent threat.

"You come to beg for my surrender?" Cersei's voice was cold, her tone mocking as she addressed her brother below.

"No," Tyrion replied, "I come to offer mercy from him."

Cersei laughed, a harsh, mirthless sound. "You think I fear them? My walls are strong, my army loyal. You will gain nothing but ash and blood."

Tyrion stepped forward, his voice laden with emotion. "Sister, listen to reason. This isn't about pride or power anymore. The people of this city don't deserve to die for your stubbornness."

Cersei's eyes narrowed. "You dare lecture me about the people, little brother? You, who murdered our father?"

Tyrion failed to convince her, and as Cersei stubbornly rejected the suggestion of surrender, even people in her camp began to waver.

The Silver Moon Legion stood ready. The gates of King's Landing remained closed. Alex sighed, his expression a mix of disappointment and resolve.

"She made her choice," he said quietly.

Raising his hand, he gave the signal for the assault. The dragons roared as one, their fiery breath igniting the sky. The final battle for King's Landing had begun.

King's Landing glowed in hues of gold and crimson as the Silver Moon Legion began their assault. But this was no ordinary siege. Alex had no intention of reducing the city to rubble with fire and blood. His strategy was one of precision and overwhelming control, meant to dismantle the walls of resistance without destroying the heart of the city.

Perched atop his black dragon, Alex hovered high above the city gates. Extending his hand, he unleashed a wave of energy, directing it toward the massive stone walls. The ground trembled, and the air shimmered with power. The outer walls of King's Landing cracked and crumbled as if an invisible hand had ripped through them. Entire sections collapsed with a deafening roar, leaving vast breaches for the Silver Moon Legion to march through.

The defenders atop the walls faltered, some fleeing while others stood frozen in disbelief. The sight of the walls, once thought impenetrable, falling without a single blow from a battering ram, shattered their morale.

Through the breaches, the Silver Moon Legion advanced. Their discipline was unmatched; they moved with clockwork precision, their silver armor gleaming under the morning sun. The dragons circled above, casting long shadows over the streets.

Dragons blasted the stationed scorpions on the walls and the soldiers shooting arrows, while Alex's ground forces avoided indiscriminate slaughter. Citizens were directed to safety, while resistance was swiftly neutralized.

His magical morality crystals floated among the soldiers, glowing green or red as they passed judgment on the defenders. Those found guilty of heinous crimes fell to the Legion's blades, while others were spared and restrained.

In the Red Keep, Cersei paced the Throne Room. Her once-unshakable confidence had given way to panic. The sound of explosions and the shouts of the invading army echoed through the halls. Qyburn stood by her side, his face pale.

"My queen, we must retreat," Qyburn urged. "The secret tunnels—"

"No!" Cersei snapped, her voice rising. "I am the Queen of the Seven Kingdoms! I will not abandon my throne!"

The doors burst open, and Jaime Lannister entered, his armor tarnished and his expression grim. "Cersei, it's over. Come with me while you still can."

Her eyes widened in shock. "You dare side with them?!"

"I'm trying to save you!" Jaime shouted. "This isn't about power anymore. It's about survival!"

Before Cersei could respond, the doors slammed open again. Alex entered, flanked by Sansa, Daenerys, and Jon Snow. His presence was commanding, his armor radiating an ethereal glow.

Cersei glared at Alex with defiance, though fear flickered in her eyes. "So, the great conqueror comes to claim his prize."

Alex regarded her calmly. "I heard the tyrant queen is beautiful, but your soul reeks with malice. It disgusts me to even look at you."

Cersei trembled as she felt the gaze of the person in front of her piercing through her very soul. Her lips curled into a bitter smile. "I have nothing left. If you want to kill me, then do it now."

Alex stepped forward, gazing straight at her. "Get down and kneel to your emperor." The Mountain, Gregor Clegane, blocked Alex as he swiftly swung his sword at him. The people in the room gasped in shock, but before they could react, the attack halted mid-air as an invisible force held the sword in place.

Alex glanced at the abomination in front of him as his energy enveloped the Mountain, lifting him into the air. Everyone watched in horror as his body began to disintegrate into thin air.

Alex looked at the shocked Cersei as he uttered a single word: "Kneel." Exerting his mental will, Cersei walked in front of Alex and prostrated herself at his feet, and so did everyone in the room. At his signal, the Silver Moon Legion entered the throne room, surrounding Cersei and her supporters.

As the sun climbed higher, the citizens of King's Landing emerged cautiously from their homes. They saw not a city in ruins, but one under new governance. Soldiers directed aid to the wounded, while food and water were distributed to the starving masses.

Alex addressed the people from the steps of the Red Keep, his voice carried by magic to every corner of the city. "The time of kings and queens is over. The whole of Westeros will be united as an empire. Today marks the birth of a new era, an era of justice and unity. No longer will you suffer under the yoke of tyranny.

"For your own good, please cooperate with my people. They will not hurt you if you are a good person or a bad person who is willing to reform.

"In my empire, no one will starve anymore. I promise you, as your new emperor, that the rights of every citizen are equal.

"Offer your service to the empire, and you will live in luxury; defy its laws, and you will suffer terribly.

"Let us build a new future—for you, for your children, and for their children after!"

The crowd listened in silence, their fear slowly giving way to hope.

One person shouted, "Long live the Emperor!" and the shout grew louder as many more joined in. The whole city shook as the people cheered and celebrated.
