Chapter 54: Interstellar Elves
The briefing room fell quiet as the discussion of the Krill infiltration plan came to a close. Admiral Ozawa shifted his focus, eyes narrowing with curiosity.
"So, tell me about your guest on this ship," he asked, breaking the silence.
Captain Ed Mercer exchanged a brief glance with Kelly, who nodded in acknowledgment. He knew the admiral would be intrigued by Alex, given the strange nature of his arrival and his apparent powers.
"Well," Ed began, leaning slightly forward, "he's an elf. You know, like in the myths, magical race, loves nature, carries a bow in the forest, all that."
Kelly chuckled softly. "He's not exactly what you'd expect, though. He's... well, way more high-tech than we are."
Ed nodded, his expression thoughtful. " He's from another universe, or maybe another galaxy. We're still figuring it out, but technologically, he's on a completely different level. I mean, we've never encountered anything like him."
Admiral Ozawa's eyes narrowed, clearly intrigued. "Another universe? Quite the claim. But if he's as advanced as you say, we should consider the possibility of cooperation. An alliance, perhaps."
Ed leaned back in his chair, considering the admiral's words. "That's what I'm thinking, too. He's an emperor according to him, but he is on vacation, they may have knowledge that could change everything we know."
Ozawa nodded, tapping his fingers thoughtfully on the table. "Agreed. But we can't afford to let this opportunity slip. If there's even the smallest chance of forging an alliance or gaining access to their technology, we need to seek cooperation."
Kelly smiled. "We'll try our best, Admiral."
Ozawa's lips curled into a small smile. "Good. Make him feel welcome. A mind like his may be more willing to cooperate if it feels respected." He stood, giving Ed a final nod. "I'll leave it to you, Captain."
Meanwhile, in Alex's quarters, a ring lay quietly on the table. Alex, however, was far from idle. Inside his ring world, he was immersed in his latest project.
In the vast expanse of Min Heimer space, Alex's work was progressing at an astonishing pace. He had already designed and constructed 3,000 Admiral-class ships, each a colossal 1,800 meters in length and 600 meters in width.
Majestic and sleek, these ships shaped like streamlined spearheads are the epitome of advanced engineering.
Alongside the Admiral-class ships, Alex had created 2,000 Cruiser-class vessels, 600 meters long and 200 meters wide. Similar in shape with the Admiral class but sharper in the bow of the ship, made them look as though they could pierce through the stars themselves, and even if they did, the one to explode would be the star and not the ship.
Alex created 500 Exploratory-class ships, each 150 meters long and 50 meters wide. Their teardrop design made them small, highly maneuverable, and just as fast as the larger vessels. It has a spatially extended laboratory and specimen cargo hold inside.
Their hulls were forged from Mithril and Silmarillion crystals, providing both unmatched durability and a visual elegance that belied their formidable nature. The ships' engines were powered by a compressed energy source Alex had perfected, with help from the energy provided by Lily, allowing the ships to achieve incredible speeds, up to 300 light-years per hour.
But these ships were more than just technological marvels; they were weapons of unimaginable power. Designed with purpose, each ship was equipped with cutting-edge defense systems, energy output capabilities, and propulsion far beyond anything known to the galaxy.
Alex didn't stop at the ships. He created their crews, elves, male and female, each with silver hair, pointed ears, and beautiful features. As with the first elves he created, Alex imbued each one with a specific set of skills tailored to their role on the ship. Some were engineers, others navigators, and still more were trained for command, security, or medical duties.
The elves were not automatons, they had free will. They could engage with one another, pursue hobbies, and build relationships just as any sentient beings would. But their skills were critical, each one a vital role in the machine of the fleet.
Each Admiral-class ship would be staffed by 500 elves, while the Cruiser-class ships would carry 100. There would be one captain, four commanding officers on each ship, two chief security officers, two chief medical officers, one helmsman, two chief engineers, and a host of other specialists for engineering, medical, and miscellaneous roles.
Exploratory vessels, however, have 30 crew members, one captain, one chief of security, and one chief medical officer. The majority would be scientists, specialists in engineering, medical personnel, and miscellaneous roles.
Yet, the elves had one crucial advantage over other civilizations: magic. While Alex's ships were powered by advanced technology, the elves themselves wielded extraordinary magical abilities that were woven into the fabric of their service.
Commanding officers had the knowledge of entire star systems at their fingertips, able to communicate directly with Alex. Engineers wielded repair magic that allowed them to maintain the ships, in ways no human technology could achieve.
Navigators possessed the ability to peer into the future, using foresight to chart courses through unknown space with uncanny precision. The security teams were equipped with lethal magic, capable of devastating force. Medical teams wielded light, rejuvenation, and even resurrection magic, ensuring that no crew member would be left behind.
Alex's work wasn't done, however. The fleet and its crews were placed into hibernation for now, waiting for the right moment. Alex planned to create a suitable planet base, far from the reach of the Planetary Union, where his elves could establish a new society, possibly in another galaxy.
When the time came, Alex would create a gate leading to the outer edge of the Milky Way in his original universe, a place where his fleet could begin its exploration.
Each ship and crew would venture into uncharted realms, gathering knowledge, technology, and forging alliances across universes. Alex's goal was to establish a network of gates, each linking a different universe, a path for exploration between worlds.
As Alex's fleet of ships slept in the quiet of Min Heimr space, he reflected on the future. He would not just create new societies. Perhaps one day, his fleet would cross paths with Thanos, or wage war against the Xenomorphs in an alternate universe. It was a future filled with endless possibilities, and Alex felt excited thinking about it.
