Chapter 25: Blackwood II
(Drakken's POV)
I looked at the map, "I see...." I said, "So the Brackens reside in Stone Hedge....right here?"
I pointed at the spot on the map.
Lord Blackwood nodded, "Yes." He said, "That is where they reside."
I ran my finger across the map and on another spot that was marked "Riverrun."
"Here." I said, "That is your Lord Paramount's seat?"
"Correct." He said again, "Why do you ask?"
I then ran my hand down to a spot above the river next to Stone Hedge, "This spot looks good." I said, "Lure them here."
"Lure?" He asked me
"That's what I fucking said." I scowled, "Lure them here and I'll take care of the rest."
"Well, the thing is...." He said, "We haven't really done anything that will warrant a vicious response."
"Oh for crying out loud." I said as I looked at Mya who stood next to him, "You. You know any of the Brackens?"
She looked at me, "Uh...Yes, I know one of the Lord's nephews...." She said, "Why?"
"Go and kill him." I said, "That will incite some battle moods,"
"You can't be serious!" Blackwood said, "Why would you condemn my daughter to something like-"
"Shut your mouth." I said, "You made a deal, Blackwood. Keep it. Something has to happen to piss these fools off. In the meantime, gather your men, I will give them my blessing."
"Your blessing?" He asked me, "What does that mean?"
"Don't fucking worry about it." I said with a chuckle, "Just gather your men."
"H-How do you want me to kill him?" Mya asked me
I looked at her, "I don't know." I said, "Use your sorcery, shoot him with your arrows, drive a blade through his throat like you did to me. You can choose. If you don't comply, I might as well slaughter all of you right here and now, get this over with."
"Mya....." Lord Blackwood, "Please, just do as he says."
Mya nodded, "Fine.."
"Good girl." I said with a smile before clapping, "Now then...."
"Let's start a war!"

Two days later, I was standing on a small hill right outside the forest behind me. I boringly looked at the clearing in front of me, perfect for a battle. I understood that this wouldn't be a large-scale conflict, even a quick and bloody battle would be enough to satisfy my plan.
In front of me, in the dirt, I had drawn a large circle in the dirt, representing the soon-to-be battlefield. I was looking at it, gauging whether or not it was going to be an accurate scale.
"Meh." I said, "Would be good enough, I suppose."
Lord Blackwood walked up behind me, "Mya has sent word..." She said, "She did as you requested and left the note. The Brackens are sure to have rallied their men by now...."
"Where is she?" I asked as I placed my hand on my chin, looking down at the circle
"She's hidden." He said, "I do not wish to endanger her. Are you certain that this will work on our favor?"
"Your men?" I asked
"In the trees, all of them." He said
"Good." I said as I looked down, "How fares their mark?"
"G-Good, I suppose...." He said, "What did you do them?"
"Gave them my blessing." I smirked, "You worry too much."
I then heard some footsteps behind us. I turned to see two young men walking up to us.
"Father." One of them said, "Our men are in position. I still don't understand why this is happening. How could you let this scum manipu-"
"Quiet, Tytos!" Lord Blackwood exclaimed, "Do not speak out of line!"
"Out of line?" The young man said, "You do all this so you can protect your bastard?! How can you-"
"Quiet." I pointed at him
He was then forced to the ground by my telekinetic force, his face crushing against the ground as the other young man took a step back in surprise.
"Ah!" the other one said, "Tytos!"
"W-what the hell?" Tytos grunted
"Spare him!" Lord Blackwood said, "He's a fool, my son...."
"A little lesson wouldn't hurt." I said as I looked at the other one, "and this one?"
"My nephew..." He told me
I dispelled the telekinesis, leaving the boy alone.
"Hm..." I said before turning around, "Control your men, Lord Blackwood."
"My apologies." He said
Then, a man quickly ran up to us, "Lord Blackwood!" he called, "Mya has sent me to inform you that the Brackens are on the move!"
"How many of them?" Blackwood asked
"She says that it's 3,000 men. They will be here in less than thirty minutes!" He said
"Great!" I said with a smirk and crouching down, "Let us begin."
With my finger, I drew three small boxes on my side of the circle, a bit parted from each other horizontally.
"What are you doing?" Blackwood asked me
"Worry not." I told him, "Send three hundred men ahead. Separate them into three groups, a hundred each, spread out across the field. They will hold the position."
"W-what? three hundred??" I heard the boy exclaimed, "Why would you-"
"I told you to be quiet." I glared at him, "Do you wish to lose your head?"
"Silence, Tytos!!" Lord Blackwood exclaimed, "Do as he says. Now!!"
"I will now show you...." I said with a smirk, looking down at the circle, "What a God of War is....."
I placed my hand on the middle of the circle, focusing my power on it. There was a faint glow on the outline of the circle, a dark red one.
"It has been a while since I had to do this with incantations..." I muttered, "But I guess it cannot be helped...."
"Sixty Days of Bloodshed, Under The Skies of Primordius...."
The red glow got brighter as I felt my power spread throughout the field in front of us, stretching out throughout hundreds of meters worth of land.
"Rains of Fire, Rivers of Blood, Mountains of Corpses..."
I closed my eyes and focused even more, feeling a bit embarrassed that I was this weak, having to use incantations for my Sorcery.
"Spread the Blessing of The God of War throughout Time, two armies, five sacrifices....."
I then raised my hand up above the circle, a bright red mark on my palm. Then, right after a few seconds passed, feeling power coursing through my hand, I slammed my hand back on the middle of the circle.
"War Sorcery: Sol'Tyr's Battlefield"
There was a bright red flash of light that erupted from the circle, releasing a small shockwave that hit the men behind me, stumbling them.
I then felt it, the spell was successful. My power was spread out throughout the battlefield and so long as I had control of this area, anything was withing my power.
I smirked, feeling a bit of a tingle in my fingers, "Yes...." I said as I stood up and began to chuckle, "So it begins....."
"Nothing but bloodshed...."
