“I experienced all the despair in my past and destroyed the dried corpse of a baby in the end. It should be the corpse of the God of the Past. It was absorbing everyone’s memories.” The normal Gao Ming turned to the young man who gave him the present and shook his head. “Your uncle was not behind the door. He was probably eaten by Past already.”

Gao Ming’s directness made it hard for the young man to accept it. He shouted and yelled.

Only the doors of Present and Future remained on the wall. Those who went into the Door of the Past probably would never return anymore.

“Everlasting Apartments have already changed. Even if you didn’t really kill Past, you have severely injured it.” Liu Yi held the bloodred badge. Her chilly gaze warmed up slightly.

Hearing Liu Yi, the leader of Team One pulled up his sleeves to look at his wrist. His hand that wore the watch surfaced with faded ghost tattoos. The mud figurines inside the building couldn’t fully suppress their power anymore.

“The power given to us by the ghost tattoo is returning. However, I don’t feel any sense of security. If anything, the place feels even more dangerous.” The leader of Team One glanced at Liu Yi. “Do you share the same feeling?”

“This anomaly involves two figurines. They share a very complicated relationship. They are not a unified unit.” Liu Yi shared some internal information that she had perhaps gotten from Gao Yun.

“What do you mean?”

“The scariest thing in the world is everything that you hated in the past will show up again under the cover of the future. You can’t escape it. You have become the worst version of yourself and have trapped yourself in a fixed spot.” Liu Yi reached out to touch the bleeding wall. The walls emitted sounds of crying. “After the past disappears, the future will soon appear. We don’t have much time.”

The pressure on them just loosened when horrid wails came from upstairs.

“Is someone massacring the tenants? Is it Yuan Hui and the rest?” The kind Gao Ming raised his head. “It’s hard for us to regain some power. Instead of working together, have they really chosen to side with the Gods?”

“Ignore them and focus on the two remaining doors. The exit should be among them.” Liu Yi became aloof again. After leaving Han De Private School, her whole personality shifted. She must have experienced something life-changing. Other than rebellious Gao Ming, nothing could move her heart.

“Are we going to open more doors?” The normal Gao Ming pouted. He was very scared of these doors.

“I’ve searched the entire building. Other than these three doors, there are no other exits.” Liu Yi confirmed. “The things behind each door should be different. Since the Door of the Past had the corpse of the Past, the Door of the Present might have the Gods in their current state.”

“It is possible.” Doctor Lee nodded. “Of the three doors, we only managed to open the Door of the Past. The other two doors didn’t react the same way.”

“I still have other things to do. I won’t stay for the exploration.” The normal Gao Ming walked to hide behind the kind Gao Ming. The memories filled his brain so much that he felt like it was about to explode.

“You’ve done more than enough. Leave the rest to us.” Liu Yi walked to the Door of the Present. She took out a letter and tossed it through the hole in the door.

“Was that your present?” The normal Gao Ming was surprised. Everyone showed such care for their presents, but Liu Yi didn’t seem to care about hers.

“Don’t be stupid.” The leader of Team One shielded the two Gao Mings away from Liu Yi, “There was a riot on the fourth floor earlier. I saw her filching many things from the dead bodies. This woman has been collecting other people’s presents.” The door consumed the present given by Liu Yi. The irregular divine patterns on the door started to gather. They slowly morph into the silhouette of a person. The door handle slowly moved. The silhouette gained long hair and a pretty face. She wore a casual suit and even reconstructed the large breasts.

“It has become Liu Yi?!”

The door swung open on its own. The room was dark. Everyone gathered at the door and looked at Liu Yi nervously. She was also confused. There was no monster behind the door. It didn’t force her to enter it as well. The door was left open as if anyone could enter it.

“The Door of the Past was constructed based on the memories of the people who entered it. Could this door lead to the present reality?” Ou Yang Susu suggested.

“You sure are optimistic! How can things be so simple?” Doctor Lee grumbled. He was replied with his wife’s eye roll and a weak elbow strike.

Liu Yi stared at the dark and slowly reached her hands towards it. Just as her fingertips were about to reach into the door, she suddenly pulled them back!

Everyone saw that a pale hand had reached out of the darkness from the other side of the door. It appeared to want to grab Liu Yi’s hands.

Since it failed to grab Liu Yi, it slithered back into the dark.

“What was that? It seemed to want to drag me through the door.” Liu Yi lowered her head to look at her hands. The five fingers that reached out from the darkness were similar to her own. Even the locations of the scars were the same.

Everyone was shocked by this development. The Door of the Present didn’t close. It appeared like it would only close after it consumed everyone present.

“Should we try the other door?” Fan Li didn’t dare to approach Liu Yi, afraid that she might think he wanted to shove her into the door.

“Okay.” Liu Yi took out a girl’s hair tie from her pocket. She tossed it through the Door of the Future. Similar to the Door of the Past, the door opened from the inside. Before she could react, Liu Yi was dragged into it by a strong force.

“This is not right!” The leader of Team One scratched his chin. “Before the Door of the Past was destroyed by Gao Ming, she didn’t even want to get close to the three doors. She collected so many presents but didn’t want to attempt any of the doors before. However, ever since Gao Ming destroyed the first door, she became so much more active than the rest of us.”

“Liu Yi should have hidden something from us.” The kind Gao Ming also sensed the desperation in Liu Yi. “Is there something she needs behind the doors?”

“No. I don’t trust her.” The Leader of Team One touched his ghost tattoo. After a short hesitation, he took out a bloody present and entered the Door of the Future.
