Xia Chen also received updates about the events at Schicksal Headquarters through Ana.

Apparently, after becoming an A-rank Valkyrie, Kiana gained newfound confidence and hosted a feast for everyone. Naturally, she had to borrow money from Ana to cover the expenses.

Kiana's previous status as a student at the Far East Branch didn't provide her with substantial income, considering the branch was perpetually facing financial losses.

Combined with her hearty appetite and numerous desired purchases, she never managed to save much.

Xia Chen couldn't help but sigh in relief.

Kiana's reaction was promising; he could sense her overwhelming emotions after completing something significant. It indicated that she was gradually accepting her identity as 'Kiana.'

Upon returning to Coral Island, Xia Chen faced Fu Hua multiple times but hesitated each instance.

In the end, he decided not to inquire about Cheng Lingshuang, fearing it might reopen old wounds.

It was evident that Fu Hua likely knew of Project Stigma but did not approve. Moreover, she may not have been privy to its full scope.

However, these concerns were not his responsibility.

After all, he wasn't a scientist; even if he understood Project Stigma, it held little significance for him.

What truly mattered was the data from the Galactic Ladder.

Regarding the conjectures on technology and Honkai thresholds by Chen Jiayu, they had already established preliminary data models. All that remained was waiting for the next Honkai outbreak to validate them. Conversely, the Thousand Fists Union...

The human community's variables were vast, making it challenging to construct comprehensive data models for such large-scale fluctuations. However, his primary role was ensuring the safety of this data.

Xia Chen quickly devised a method, enabling Rin to memorize the information related to the Galactic Ladder and the Thousand Fists Union. While he might not fully comprehend the data, one never knows when it could prove useful in the future.

Moreover, Xia Chen's loyalty to fate wasn't unwavering.

In modern society, it's all about contracts and agreements.

Due to his encounter with the Hare, he continued using the simulator despite its mysterious aspects. The tangible power boost provided by the simulator was undeniable. For this reason alone, even considering potential terrifying consequences, Xia Chen chose to persist with its use.

Unless he wanted to accept a future where Honkai remains sealed on the moon, always looming with the possibility of resurgence.

[Honkai World Simulator activated.]

[Current Scenario: Small-scale Honkai Incident in Parallel Siberia.]

[Equipped Weapon: Red Sakura.]

[Assigned Stigmata: Ana Schariac; Sirin Ascension.]

[System generating records...]

[Day 1: You are a Valkyrie assigned by Schicksal to assist Shigure Kira in completing an investigation mission.]

Xia Chen couldn't help but shake his head in disbelief.

He hadn't anticipated such bad luck, finding himself in a parallel world again. This wasn't his first time entering a parallel world within the simulator; previously, he had ventured into one inspired by "Pokémon," becoming a trainer constantly targeted by mischievous Pokémons.

The reason he considered his luck poor was due to each parallel world developing differently, making it challenging to establish connections between them.

In the intrinsic world, knowledge from both past and future would benefit the present. However, the past and future of a parallel world held no significance for him.

Apart from the rewards being extractable, there weren't many positives.

Nevertheless, since he found himself here, Xia Chen decided to make the best of it.

Pushing aside his complex thoughts, he focused on assessing his current situation.

He felt the flying craft gently touch down, followed by the cabin door opening.

A gust of Siberian cold wind swept inside.

Xia Chen's expression involuntarily darkened.

Within this biting chill, he sensed a strong presence of Honkai Energy.

"Siberia is highly saturated with Honkai Energy, causing Schicksal's communicators to malfunction at times. Kiana, we need to be extra cautious from now on."

Shigure Kira's words caught Xia Chen's attention.

Next to her stood a fifteen-year-old girl:

Kiana Kaslana.

"No way..." Xia Chen's heart began racing.

Xia Chen seemed to have formed a direct assumption about this world. However, he still comforted himself with the thought, "What if it's just a parallel universe?"

Following Shigure Kira and Kiana, Xia Chen exited the aircraft.

His role was merely to assist Shigure Kira on her investigation mission, while Shigure herself aimed to train the current B-rank Valkyrie, Kiana Kaslana, due to Cecilia's influence.

Thus, his actual responsibilities were quite minimal.

Yet, Xia Chen couldn't feel any sense of relief.

The concentration of Honkai Energy in Siberia was exceptionally high. In his intrinsic world, such levels would likely spawn an Imperial Honkai Beast. However, neither Shigure Kira nor Kiana appeared concerned by this energy density; they seemed accustomed to it.

All Xia Chen could think was, thankfully, not living in this world.

Despite that, his heart involuntarily quickened with excitement.

"Kiro-sama, Miss Kiana."

Pausing briefly, Xia Chen spoke up, "I believe we should proceed with caution. Powerful Honkai Beasts may very well exist here in Siberia."

He cautioned them.

Shigure Kira blinked, reassuringly saying, "Don't worry. Bringing Kiana here means I've prepared thoroughly for all eventualities."

She led Kiana towards the foot of a snowy mountain.

Xia Chen observed numerous Honkai Beasts and Zombies scattered around the area. Clearly, these were remnants from the Second Honkai War in this world. The Schicksal here was even more militarized than its counterpart in his intrinsic world, using these creatures for training purposes.

"Go get 'em, Kiana," Shigure Kira encouraged her junior, who had become their benefactor's protégé.

"Right."

Despite being only a B-rank Valkyrie, the young girl possessed exceptional courage and extraordinary combat talent, immediately charging into the fray against Honkai Beasts and Zombies.

Oh, according to terminology in this world, these Zombies should be referred to as "undead."

Xia Chen refrained from joining the fight, instead observing the undead and Honkai Beasts closely. Compared to those in his intrinsic world, these creatures seemed to exhibit rudimentary intelligence, capable of evading attacks and seeking opportunities to strike back.

However, their intellect still fell short compared to dogs, so there was no immediate concern about them establishing a civilization.

"If this is indeed that world," Xia Chen murmured to himself, "then..."

Before he could finish speaking, Kiana targeted a group of Zombies with concentrated fire, causing dense gunfire to trigger a minor avalanche on the nearby mountains.

Naturally, an avalanche alone wouldn't be concerning.

However, when accompanied by dragon-like roars, it became problematic.

Shigure Kira promptly yelled, "Kiana, quickly retreat!"

Without hesitation, Kiana, a Valkyrie with rich combat experience, immediately withdrew upon hearing the dragon's roar.

The concentration of Honkai Energy in Siberia rapidly escalated.

Xia Chen felt the surrounding Honkai Energy surging; its density had already reached that of the Manila Honkai event.

"System, you call this a small-scale Honkai?"

Yet, the System did not provide any response.

Dragon roars filled the entire Siberian plain.

The Honkai Beast, Kukulkan, descended.
