Honkai: Man(Sludge) From Future

Chapter 114: Noldrei: I Think You Need a Disciplinary Committee.

"What about my sister? How is my sister?"

Hachiman Hikigaya was more concerned about his sister's situation. He had contacted his family, but he couldn't be sure if anything had happened.

After all, he had been slapped with the bracelet; how could he have a chance to run away?

The Academy City might not be good at other things, but it was very good at keeping all the students within one city.

This kind of execution power even made Hachiman Hikigaya wonder if there was a war going on outside, and they were just keeping them here to train.

"I don't know..."

Noldrei looked at Tesla with a blank expression. He had been playing games at home every day. Most of the work was being done by Cocolia.

As a future human, he thought he still respected the existing power structure of the primitives.

"Why are you looking at me? Aren't I with you every day? Did you let me go out? Then who is going to manage that big head and the Herrscher core? You don't care about anything and just leave it to the people below. You should call Cocolia instead."

Tesla was angered by Noldrei's suspicious gaze.

This leader who didn't care about anything was truly terrible.

'There's actually such a great leader?' Hachiman Hikigaya thought, feeling moved. In his view, a leader who didn't care about anything was already very good. What he feared was a leader who cared about everything. This could be seen by the student council members at the school.

"Do you think Cocolia would know? I can tell that woman has her own agenda. Sometimes I don't understand your primitive values, but that doesn't mean I can't tell a good person from a bad person. She's probably thinking about how much of a profit she can get from those research institutions."

Noldrei sneered. He knew Cocolia's cold-hearted thoughts very well.

"So you do know everything?" Tesla was speechless.

Noldrei then asked, "Your sister's issue isn't a big deal. How old is your sister? What grade is she in? I'll arrange for a group of students to investigate your family's situation, but these people need to be chosen by the students themselves. If we let those Japanese people do it, they'll just mess things up."

Tesla was helpless. She retorted, "Do you think those students can do these things? Are you not worried that they'll all just run away again?"

"Are you misunderstanding something?" Noldrei pointed at the new teaching building that was being built by mechs by the roadside, asking, "When you see these things, can you still bear to go back to constantly thinking about things like, 'Is the world going to have a war?' 'Why are there so many changes?' 'Is there some kind of secret?'"

"And Doctor Tesla, although you're already eighty years old, you're still naive in some aspects. I've deeply researched your primitive methods of governance. The methods of governance you use are a part of the ideology itself. Like how the government uses various ways to control public opinion, which is the greatest form of public opinion."

"Letting students visit other students' homes is just a way to appease the other students so they stay obediently in the Academy City. If you don't have any other ideas, then I can only continue asking Cocolia to do these things."

Noldrei didn't care about any of that. He was just concerned with who could complete the work.

If these people were all useless and couldn't complete this task, then they deserve to be messed around with by people like Cocolia.

Tesla was speechless. As a Doctor of Physics, where would she learn about how to govern people?

"Okay, okay, you're great! You're so righteous! I'll find people! I'll find people! You bastard!"

Doctor Tesla stormed off. She decided to go find Einstein to see if there were any better management talents.

The foundation of Anti-Entropy was about to be dug out by Noldrei.

That dog's destructive power was much stronger than a Herrscher of the Honkai.

Noldrei didn't care after Tesla left angrily. He turned to comfort Hachiman Hikigaya, saying, "Your wife, I will take care of her, do not worry!"

"Let's skip that. I don't have a wife or kids right now."

Cold sweat appeared on Hachiman Hikigaya's forehead.

He had roughly heard what was going on. The gist was that Noldrei was a future human, but he didn't care about the troubles of modern people. He just wanted to drag the present into the new era.

And these leaders on Earth seemed to agree with Noldrei's ideas.

That's why they dragged them, these students, into the Academy City.

'What is going on?!'

He lamented in his heart about how unlucky he was to have been born in the Japan.

Hachiman Hikigaya didn't know that his unlucky days were just beginning.

Noldrei then asked curiously, "It's strange, how do you guys usually resolve things like this? Oh, I get it now."

It would just be things like exposure on social media, reporting to higher authorities, and trying to use connections.

Hachiman Hikigaya knew that these actions were useless, and he didn't want to talk about this with a giant ball of light.

But Noldrei had a new idea. He thought for a moment and said, "If you let students manage other students, what would you do to prevent the students who become managers from doing stupid things?"

"Ah? That…"

Hachiman Hikigaya didn't expect such a strange and grand question to be waiting for him. He felt very depressed.

"How about this? I'll figure out a way to give you students the authority to manage yourselves, and then let you contact people to manage the Academy City. What do you think?"

'You're not even considering whether these students have the ability to do it?'

Hachiman Hikigaya gritted his teeth just listening to it. He thought that it was going to cause chaos at the school.

But Noldrei didn't think so. In fact, he felt that the members of an organization should manage themselves. How else would they be able to represent their own interests?

As for the problems that would arise in the middle, they should face and solve them themselves.

If they couldn't even deal with such conflicts, then how could Noldrei trust these people in the future when they faced crises like the Great Honkai, or nuclear war?

"You're not worried? Many of the students don't know anything and are going to do something bad?"

Hachiman Hikigaya didn't believe that the Japanese government could do a good job, nor did he believe that the students could do well by themselves.

"Why worry? Do you think the other students are idiots, and would just sit by and watch a small group of people use their power to ruin their lives?"

Noldrei's words were somewhat cold. He had already predicted that there would be divisions among the students.

"You should know, right? The differences in family background will cause the students to divide among themselves. I just don't want these primitives to deceive the students anymore. I'm going to tear away these realities and show them the bloody truth."

"You must decide on the best new human organization. Only then will you be able to face the problems ahead."

"Consider it me having high hopes for you! Don't worry, nobody will die."

He laughed as he patted Hachiman Hikigaya's shoulder, and then followed Tesla's footsteps, leaving the small park.

A gust of cold wind poured into Hachiman Hikigaya's neck.

He blankly looked at the scene before him, for the first time having the urge to escape from this place.
