At this time, the banquet was about to begin, and the shareholders behind Delphi began to feel a little irritable.

The backup support they had been looking forward to has not come yet, which made them more than impatient. Even calm and cool Delphina began to curse Samuel for being late. She knew he would be here but when became a question.

" That bastard is no better than my brother. Sheltering five models, anyone could tell what he is up to. I will surely teach him a lesson for this humiliation." She had to act rational because with him they wouldn’t have right to sway the board.

She honestly thought he was trying to act cool like those superheroes that would arrive in rhe nick of time to make their entrance more impactful. Wasn’t it enough to have a godlike face? Was he that hungry for attention? It was suppose to be her day not his!

Sharon was also absent, she promised to be here for support but until now she was no where to be seen. Did he went to the city to pick her up? It would make sense for his absence.

Bernard knew something was up seeing his daughter fidget looking all of the venue like she was trying to find someone. He honestly thought his daughter would put up some resistance showing her stubborness but all he could see was a nervous girl grasping at anything to survive.

He was disappointed to say the least but there was also some regret in his eyes. He was delaying the announcement thinking about his daughter’s surprise. She was never the one to back down from a challenge.

But now it seemed that it may be his own wishful thinking? Could it be that his daughter was just holding up a tough posture, ready to accept defeat? He shook his head and stopped thinking about it.

Meanwhile Alan Arjo was full of spirits, and even when he looked at his sister, he had already assumed the posture of a winner.

However, Alexis beside him was sitting on the sidelines with a sneer on her face. But she too looked around for Samuel’s presence. She had to admit she missed looking at his handsome face.

And where exactly was Samuel? He was just entering the venue along with Sharon. Delphina had been right all along. They wanted to come together to support Delphina.

They laughed and talked along the way. As it was evening and with two large parties the whole city was buzzing. The traffic situation was more bad than usual so it took them more than an hour to reach the venue.

He was already late dealing with Anastasiya and Nicole. He had to drop Nicole off at Mayra’s place while leading Anastasiya back to get her bike.

Her vintage BMW was something she wouldn’t want to end up at black market. He had already talked to Fabian, the owner of famius diner that they visited and asked him to take care of it.

She firmly told him that she would surely see him before he left the country. He wasn’t thrilled with it as she was a crazy lady but he also knew she was too beautiful for him stay away.

It was better for him to keep his distance so that his lingering feeling die down so that theu could be in equal footing for their deal. After his work had been done, he would promptly leave the city to sort out his mess with Liliana’s sister.

He gave his keys to the valet and walked around the car to open the door for Lady Sharon.

"Thank you. I never knew people were so interested in my date." Sharon chuckled grabbing his hand.

Samuel presence had already arouse onlookers attention. He was like a dazzling star in the parking lot, even the valet were looking at him with a blush on their face.

Only recently did Samuel realise he had same effect on all genders. It would make sense since he was involved with Mayra and Kayla. If they could be attracted to him despite their taste it was very plausible it would work the other way too.

" Do you want me killed? Delphina would really do it if she find out I was hitting on you." He added leading her outside.

He tried hard to not glance at her low cut dress that was showing her ample breats. Sharon might not be a conventional beauty but she had a aura of caring noble lady about her which had way for people to open up voluntarily in front of her.

Not to mention her bombshell figure, she was wearing a emerald green dress which was accentuating her curves. Her hourglass figure must be the reason why she and Delphina were together.

She also smirked while choosing her dress carefully selecting matching her dress with Samuel’s eye colour. It was her to show her appreciation.

" Were you? I never felt it but I can feel your feverent eyes burning my body. I obviously chose the right one." She said as they walked hand in hand toward the entrance.

" Alright, I am guilty. I never knew you were hiding such weapons underneath your usual clothes. I was quite surprised when I first picked you up but now I know the reason why Lady Sharon is so popular." He asked.

" Well, flattery would not get you anywhere. Let’s go we have to make a entrance." She patted his hand, interlocking her hands with his.

" I already have my hands full. It’s been a rough week to say the least." He said with a sigh.

" Yeah, I heard about it. Whatever happened to them?" She asked.

" It’s a long story. Why don’t you and Delphina follow me back for the afterparty. It would be fun rather than staying here for this corporate fiasco." He asked.

" I might just take you on that offer but you have to convince Delph. Although she is strong on the surface she could get quite nervous in unfamiliar crowds."

" Fine, let’s leave this after we torn off this party to pieces. We have much more important things to do tonight." With that they entered the venue with smiles plastered on their faces.
