After saying farewell, he left with taking another taxi. Carol did ask if he needed to borrow her car but he politely declined. There could be an emergency at the restaurant, it would be foolish to take the car with him.

Beside, he was enjoying riding in public transport. He didn't know how it would be in the bus as he had never ridden one but in taxi, his privacy was guaranteed. The only issue was him fending off odd questions from the driver.

They would assume he was famous or have he worked in any movies or worked as a model. Fortunately, these were the extent the questions would go to, if it was a female driver he didn't know what would happen to him!

He was thinking about where to go next when he received a sudden phone call. He thought maybe it was Jane informing him that they cracked everything. It's only been three to four hours but Jane was known for her immaculate work.

But the name flashing was of someone else, someone he didn't expect to receive a call from.

" Hello? Darren? What's up?" He answered and expected him to pitch some crazy getaway like usual but what he heard made him furrow his brows.

" Hey, hey, calm down first and tell me what's going on? Is someone attacking you? Where are they coming from? Give the address and make sure to hide somewhere safe, I will be there shortly." Samuel mind was on alert so hearing his frantic voice, he thought Darren was under attack.

It wasn't uncommon for him as he liked to mess around with girls and would often find himself in complicated situations but now that he had Emma, she would never forgive him if he ever looked in the direction of other girls!

We were wearing mask but since I have attended many movie ceremonies with him, they connect the dots easily. It might be a rumour when they saw us at the event but the public scene seem to be impossible to explain beside if you were there we could have avoided the situation but now both our families are demanding answers." Emma explained as best as she could but Samuel still thought it wasn't a big deal.

Emma might not be from a wealthy family but she earned enough herself to retire her parents and create wealth that would last her a life time. Not to mention there were two future installment which would give her the most amount of money.
