Chapter 136: Hogwarts, Please Graduate Soon, Ch 69.5
Before the people even arrived, a rich and powerful roar accompanied the sound of hooves. The Phoenix, enraged, attempted to take flight, but Wayne managed to calm it down.
Soon, a dozen centaurs leaped through the bushes and landed in front of Wayne.
These centaurs, both male and female, were exceptionally tall, each holding bows and arrows, looking incredibly fierce. However, when they saw the scattered remains of spiders, the charred ground, and the remaining Acromantula lined up to squeeze out venom, they were taken aback.
Upon noticing Wayne and the unicorn beside him, they immediately raised their bows and aimed them at him.
"Hunter, release the unicorn!"
Wayne replied, exasperated, "Are you blind? Have you ever seen such a small hunter as me?"
"Also, don't you recognize my school uniform? Although he's larger than most first-year students, he's still just a child—barely even reaching one meter seventy!"
"Wizards are cunning; who knows if you're using Polyjuice Potion to sneak in as a young wizard?" said the leading centaur, still cautious. He surveyed the area; the sight of so many corpses made his veins bulge with tension. Coldly, he added, "I don't care if you want to hunt Acromantula, but the unicorn must be let go."
This unexpected demand almost caused Aragog to spit blood in anger. What does that mean? So, it's a crime for our spiders to exist? Just because they look ugly, they don't deserve rights?
"Are you really asking for it?" Wayne's expression suddenly turned icy. "Do I need your permission for what I do?"
"Lower your bow and arrow!"
While Wayne usually treated his classmates with kindness and humor, that was because they were peers and spoke to him respectfully. But this… was a different matter altogether.
This was simply based on Wayne's upbringing.
His system, the Demon Lord System, means he is a demon lord too!
Now, a group of creatures that weren't even human were still aiming their bows at him after he explained his identity.
This was pushing Wayne's anger over the edge.
Dark clouds swirled above as the air grew heavy. The centaurs stomped anxiously, yet their bows remained trained on Wayne, showing no sign of retreating.
"Release the unicorn and leave this forest!"
"This is not a place for you to be!"
The centaur leader warned again, and as his words fell, the bowstrings had already begun to tense.
"A group of extraordinary beings living under someone else's roof really think of themselves as the masters?"
Wayne scoffed, waving his wand, causing the arrows to undergo a shocking transformation.
To the astonished eyes of the centaurs, the bows in their hands turned into serpents that sought to devour them, coiling tightly around their arms. With gaping mouths, the snakes aimed for their necks and bit down hard.
Amidst the chaos, the centaurs struggled to shake off the snakes, but the constriction only grew tighter.
The sharp fangs sank into their necks, eliciting cries of anguish.
Aragog watched this scene, and even his seven legs that had been struggling stopped moving involuntarily.
And you dare to call yourself a Hufflepuff? If it weren't for Slytherin, I would send you a bucket of eight-eyed giant spider venom every year!
