Hogwarts: Please Graduate Soon

Chapter 130: Hogwarts, Please Graduate Soon, Ch 68.5

With the aid of his magical flow, Wayne just needed to practice his other spells until they reached an advanced level to increase his magical power. Therefore, his recent training focus was to advance those spells that had still been at the intermediate level. The results were quite good; in the past half month, he had already elevated five or six spells to advanced.

In the system's evaluation, his magical power score had increased from 0.8 to 0.9.

 "Shatter!"

A blue light spell struck a steel plate, shattering it into a dozen pieces, and Wayne's magical power had slightly increased again. This meant his Shattering Spell had also reached an advanced level.

Suddenly, as Wayne was about to leave the room of requests, he felt a stirring in his heart as the Phoenix called to him.

In the familiar flames, the Phoenix flew out, urgently calling out.

With hesitation, it said, "A unicorn is about to give birth; it needs my help."

Wayne immediately understood her meaning and quickly responded, "Where? Take me there."

Grabbing Wayne by the hair, the Phoenix activated her teleportation ability once more.

In an instant, the two appeared in the Forbidden Forest.

Wayne didn't pay attention to the noise in his mind, instead focusing on a tree where a pure white creature with a spiral horn was lying. With a large belly, it was clearly the unicorn that the Phoenix mentioned would soon give birth.

The Phoenix flew above the unicorn, releasing sacred flames to alleviate its pain.

 "Thank you."

The unicorn let out a weak whinny, as if it were calling for help.

"No, what can I do to help?"

Wayne felt a bit dazed; he hadn't studied midwifery at all.

If Newt were here, it might be a different story.

However, Wayne soon understood why the Phoenix King had summoned him.

Rustling sounds came from the dense jungle, and suddenly a faint light appeared in the shadows, illuminating the chaos around them.

After a flurry of movements, a large number of spiders began to surround them from the trees and the ground.

These spiders stood nearly a meter tall, with eight eyes and eight long, slender legs. Below their eyes were massive, poisonous fangs, along with long, sharp mandibles.

With such prominent features, Wayne immediately recognized the source of these spiders. They were Eight-Eyed Giant Spiders, a level 5X magical creature.

While a single Eight-Eyed Giant Spider was nowhere near as powerful as a fire dragon, their breeding rate was alarmingly high; a single brood could hatch in six to eight weeks. The terrifying numbers, paired with their incredibly lethal venom, made many wizards prefer to face fire dragons rather than these spiders.

Fire dragons would avoid their nests, but Eight-Eyed Giant Spiders… they would eat humans!

These Eight-Eyed Giant Spiders didn't launch an attack; instead, they organized themselves into a tight formation, closely watching Wayne and the unicorn, their primal hunger evident.

Suddenly, the spiders parted to create a path, and a spider even larger than a house crawled forward.

"Jie jie jie… I didn't expect to find a little wizard along with the unicorn."

"It looks like this meal just got an upgrade."
