Hentai Conquest: Starting From Kuroinu

Chapter 9: Chapter 009: Put Chain On My Neck

At the dining table, Asahi suppressed his inner embarrassment and explained the situation to Claudia and Garf while trying to maintain a calm expression.

Hearing Asahi's words, both Garf and Claudia were momentarily stunned. However, Garf quickly burst into laughter, showing no doubt about the situation and seeming quite pleased.

"This couldn't be an act, could it? Pretending to let you lower your guard and then doing something unexpected? Of course, I'm not doubting your abilities, Asahi, but I'm concerned that the dark elf is intentionally deceiving you."

Claudia, however, expressed her concern, emphasizing that she wasn't questioning Asahi's capabilities. Despite her words, her face turned red with embarrassment as she listened.

Asahi found Claudia's doubts understandable. After all, this kind of situation was too unbelievable, and even he found it hard to believe himself.

"Claudia's concern is valid," Garf nodded slightly in agreement, "but we'll need to witness it firsthand to be sure."

Garf hoped it was as Asahi described because that would further convince him that by next year, he might witness the two having children together.

"That's fine."

Asahi nodded, agreeing without hesitation. Without showing them firsthand, he had no way to prove anything. Now, he could only hope that Chloe's performance would convince the two.

The three of them headed to the room together. At the door, Asahi knocked to let Chloe know he was bringing others in, then opened the door.

Inside, Garf and Claudia saw Chloe sitting quietly on the bed, now dressed in a black, tight-fitting long-sleeved shirt and shorts. She was no longer restrained by chains yet remained calm, which made Garf believe Asahi's claim a bit more.

However, when their gazes met Chloe's, they saw undisguised hatred and disgust in her eyes. This immediately made both Garf and Claudia alert. Just as they were about to warn Asahi, they saw him approach directly.

"Chloe, restrain yourself."

The tense atmosphere shifted as Chloe's gaze met Asahi's. The hatred and disgust in her eyes vanished entirely, replaced by affection and enthusiasm. She even threw herself into his arms passionately.

The look in her eyes reminded Garf of how Claudia often gazed at Asahi. This result surprised him and made him believe Asahi's earlier explanation.

This dark elf had indeed been turned into Asahi's possession, conquered both physically and mentally.

Thinking this, Garf looked at Claudia, signaling her to relax. However, his reminder was ineffective. Claudia's perception of Chloe worsened upon seeing how she looked at Asahi and clung to him.

Garf sighed helplessly, unable to understand why Claudia seemed jealous. Chloe was merely a plaything, a slave. Why feel competitive with someone like that?

"General Garf, Claudia, as you can see, there's no issue with Chloe. You can rest assured, right?" Asahi held Chloe's waist and smiled at them. "Or is there something else you're concerned about?"

"There may be no issue for you," Claudia replied, "but she showed clear hostility in her gaze toward us earlier. Leaving her actions unrestricted is too dangerous."

"You can rest assured about that," Asahi said. "I'll keep her by my side at all times. As long as I'm around, there's no need to worry about her causing trouble. Besides, she listens to me well, right, Chloe?"

"Yes, I will obey all of my master's commands," Chloe said softly, her seductive tone causing Asahi to shiver slightly. It was simply too captivating.

"If that's not enough assurance," Chloe added, "you can put a chain on my neck and have the master hold it at all times."

"Uh…"

Asahi instinctively wanted to reject such an idea. He had no interest in these peculiar games. However, before he could refuse, Chloe tugged at the back of his shirt, silencing him.

"That might work," Garf remarked. To him, this further proved that the dark elf now completely regarded herself as Asahi's property, devoid of her former pride and temper.

Claudia, seeing this, had nothing further to say. At this point, continued skepticism would only appear unreasonable.

Reluctantly, Asahi placed a collar and chain around Chloe's neck, officially settling the matter regarding her.

"Now that this issue is resolved, Sir Asahi, shall we head to training?" Garf eagerly suggested.

With the matter settled, Garf was ready to drag Asahi off for training. Chloe, now leashed and tethered to Asahi, was delighted. This arrangement not only reassured others but gave her a constant reason to be by Asahi's side.

"Let's go then," Asahi nodded, preparing to leave with Garf. Chloe quickly followed, handing him the chain. While Garf approved, Asahi felt increasingly awkward.

The idea of walking through crowded areas, leading Chloe by a chain, made him cringe.

"I'm heading to training. Why do you want to come along? I'll take you for a walk later."

"Without you, master, I have no reason to exist. Only by staying by your side can I find purpose and meaning," Chloe replied earnestly.

Faced with this heartfelt statement, Asahi couldn't refuse and reluctantly agreed.

On the way to the training ground, Asahi maintained a deliberate effort to keep a neutral expression. However, despite his efforts, the gazes of passersby still made him feel uncomfortable. This awkwardness persisted until they reached the training ground, where it finally began to ease slightly.

At the same time, Asahi's attention was drawn to the array of training equipment in the large area. The training ground, about the size of two soccer fields, was quite astonishing.

"Such a huge training ground, is it just for us?"

Surely, other members of the Levontine family must use this space too; otherwise, building something so vast would be a sheer waste of resources.

"In the past, this place was quite lively."

Garf, with a nostalgic expression, said, "When I was young, this place was packed with people training. Many of them were exceptionally talented. The Levontine family was truly glorious back then, but now…"

Even though it was hard for Garf to accept the current state of the family, seeing the emptiness of the training ground now left him with a sense of helplessness.

Asahi secretly breathed a sigh of relief. If the place had been crowded with people, it would have been much worse for him.

"Well, from now on, your training officially begins. I'll make sure to raise your physical capabilities to their peak in the shortest time possible."

From Garf's tone, Asahi felt a sense of urgency. It was as if the training was extremely time-sensitive.

"General Garf, you seem to be in quite a hurry. What exactly is going on?"

"You've noticed, huh? Well, it's something I intended to discuss with you anyway. A war might break out in the near future. Before you go to the battlefield, I'll make sure you're fully prepared so nothing happens to you."

"Huh? A war?"

'There might really be a war? And it's happening soon? This is just too sudden.'

Asahi couldn't help but feel that his timing was off. If he hadn't chosen this particular moment, he wouldn't have stumbled into this mess. The idea of earning merit was nothing more than a stalling tactic because he believed there wouldn't be a war anytime soon. But now it was clear he was wrong. No matter where intelligent and ambitious beings exist, wars are inevitable.

"Is… is it with the demons?"

Asahi's first thought was the demon race, but Garf shook his head.

"It's with the Dark Elves. We've always had small skirmishes with them. It's only natural that things eventually escalate into war."

Hearing this, Asahi instinctively glanced at Chloe beside him. Sensing his gaze, Chloe turned her head and shook it, indicating that she wasn't particularly concerned. After all, she had never encountered other members of her race besides herself. Thus, she didn't care much about this matter. Instead, she was more focused on the possibility of Asahi heading to the battlefield, which was her primary concern.

"So, the upcoming training will be much harsher than before. I hope you're prepared."

Garf's expression turned serious. He absolutely wouldn't allow Asahi to die on the battlefield. However, this didn't mean he would stop him from going. After all, he believed Asahi's talent would ensure his survival.

"Alright…"

Asahi nodded in agreement and began a grueling day of training. Meanwhile, Chloe stood quietly to the side, watching him train under the scorching sun. Only when Asahi was drenched in sweat and collapsed from exhaustion did she step forward to support and care for him. Garf, observing this scene, said nothing. After all, it wasn't suitable for a burly man like him to handle such tasks.

As for Claudia, she had not yet returned from her daily duties. Therefore, the responsibility naturally fell to Chloe, a task she welcomed wholeheartedly.

After the day's training ended, Chloe carried the motionless Asahi back to his room. Once she closed the door and laid him on the bed, she spoke.

"Asahi, I've decided not to leave for the time being."

"Huh? Why?"

Asahi, who was ready to relax, suddenly perked up upon hearing Chloe's decision to stay.

"Because you're going to the battlefield. Knowing this, how could I still follow my original plans?"

"Sigh… I didn't expect this to happen so soon."

Asahi sighed helplessly. "Honestly, I don't want to do this. I've never even killed a chicken before, and now I'm being told that there'll be war and I'll have to kill people. My head's a mess right now."

"So, when the time comes, let's run away together. Once we're on the battlefield, we'll find a chance to escape and live in a place where no one can find us."

Seeing Asahi's aversion to war and reluctance to go to the battlefield, Chloe suggested they run away together, hoping he'd accept her plan. Just imagining a peaceful life with Asahi in an isolated place made her feel happy.

"That… I'm afraid I can't do that."

Facing Chloe's hopeful gaze, Asahi could only shake his head in refusal, leaving her visibly bitter. She didn't need him to explain—she already knew the reason: Celestine, the elf.

'What's so great about her that Asahi can't let her go.'

Chloe was inwardly furious. If she ever had the chance, she wanted to see what made that elf so special.

"I'm sorry, Chloe."

Seeing Chloe's darkened expression, Asahi apologized. He felt guilty for letting her down.

"There's no need to apologize. We all have our own thoughts. While I'm sad about your decision, I'll always support whatever you choose."

'...except for anything related to Celestine',As long as it didn't involve relationships, she would unconditionally support him.

Chloe comforted Asahi, telling him not to feel bad about it. After all, the root of the issue was timing—if they had met earlier, there wouldn't even be a Celestine.

"It's unnecessary to apologize to me for this matter. We each have our own thoughts. Although I feel sad about the decision you've made, no matter what you choose, I will always support you."

Except when it came to the matter of being with Celestine, as long as it didn't involve who to be with, Chloe would unconditionally support Asahi.

Chloe comforted Asahi, urging him not to feel guilty or apologize for his decision. After all, the primary issue was that they had met each other too late. Otherwise, Celestine wouldn't even have been a factor.

After a day's work, Claudia returned and noticed Asahi, who had undergone a day of rigorous training, being cared for by Chloe. Her expression shifted slightly—she hadn't expected such a task to fall on Chloe.

"I'll take over from here. You can leave."

Without any unnecessary words, Claudia walked up to Chloe, who was massaging Asahi's stiff muscles, and stated this. Her tone carried an air of command, which caused Chloe to cast an unfriendly glance at her before ignoring her completely and continuing her massage.

This reaction made Claudia clench her fists. She could do nothing about Celestine, but now even a Dark Elf—a slave, no less—was trying to compete with her?

"Ah? Claudia, you're back."

Resting, Asahi felt something amiss and opened his eyes to see Claudia standing there. He also noticed the tense atmosphere between her and Chloe, prompting him to speak immediately.

"Mm, I just got back."

Seeing Asahi awake, Claudia's expression softened considerably.

"Asahi, it seems today's training left your body sore. I heard from Lady Celestine that she usually uses magic to help you recover. While I'm not skilled in healing magic, I know methods to quickly relax and restore your muscles. Let me help you."

Hearing this, Asahi glanced at Chloe, noticing her increasingly unpleasant expression. Though he wanted to decline, the situation left him no choice but to accept Claudia's offer.

"Alright, then. Chloe, could you act as my cushion for now?"

"Of course."

Claudia's expression stiffened momentarily as Asahi, who had been leaning against the sofa, now lay directly in Chloe's arms, his head resting on her chest. She could see Chloe's mocking gaze, as if to say her efforts were not only ineffective but actually backfired, allowing her to gain even more.

Faced with this situation, Claudia's face briefly darkened before she quickly returned to her usual composure, as if she suddenly didn't care. This unexpected reaction surprised Chloe—how could someone so reactive earlier now act indifferent? It was odd, to say the least.

Asahi, on the other hand, was completely immersed in his current enjoyment. Whether it was Claudia's muscle massage or leaning back into Chloe's arms, where he only needed to turn his head to rest in the treasure trove of comfort, this was undoubtedly the life he enjoyed most.

'If only there weren't so many complications, life would truly be as peaceful as the goddess Lerentia described,' Asahi thought to himself, sighing at the moment.

But before he could indulge any further, he saw Garf and Klaus approaching in the distance.

Among them, Klaus looked at Asahi's current state with a scrutinizing gaze, particularly at Claudia massaging his muscles. He opened his mouth as if to say something but ultimately remained silent.

"Asahi, since you're here, I'd like to discuss something regarding the Dark Elves. It's time for you to get a bit more involved in these matters."

"Hm? What happened? Don't tell me the war started earlier than expected?"

Hearing it was about the Dark Elves, Asahi immediately perked up, knowing the issue was deeply connected to him.

"Not yet. Don't worry. Even if it starts earlier, I won't send you to the frontlines so soon."

Garf shook his head, reassuring him. At the current stage, he wouldn't risk sending Asahi into battle without thorough preparation.

"However, there's been movement among the Dark Elves. It seems they're growing restless and might want to provoke the war ahead of schedule. Recently, we've seen activity near the border—not from Dark Elves themselves but from Black Beastmen. Scouts have reported seeing traces of Dark Elves alongside them."

At this, Garf let out a cold snort.

"It's clear that the Dark Elf Queen intends to use those brainless Black Beastmen to create chaos, leaving us unprepared when the real war breaks out."
