Harem With Venom In Marvel/Dc

Chapter 47: Chapter 47: Daughter?

Kino pushed the door open once again, and the scene before him made his eyes widen in astonishment.

It was a spacious kitchen, and Bruce Wayne stood at the stove, wearing a neatly pressed suit and an apron, skillfully preparing breakfast.

"You're here. Do you want some breakfast?" Bruce asked calmly and naturally, without turning his head.

"Yes, I'll have some. Thanks."

Kino composed himself and walked over to sit at the dining table, but his gaze remained fixed on Bruce's busy figure.

Watching Bruce's faint smile at the corner of his lips, Kino felt a moment of surreal disbelief.

"...Did I travel to another parallel universe?" Kino murmured to himself, his face full of disbelief.

[Clearly not,] Venom's voice echoed in his mind.

Kino rubbed his eyes, confirming once again that what he saw was real and not an illusion.

He could never have imagined that Gotham's Dark Knight, the legendary Batman, Bruce Wayne, would have such a domestic side.

Bruce soon placed a meticulously prepared Western-style breakfast in front of him. The sandwiches were arranged neatly, and the egg yolk of the fried eggs glowed with a perfectly enticing color.

As Kino took a bite, satisfaction appeared on his face, and he couldn't help but praise, "Impressive, Bruce. You actually have these skills."

"I studied culinary arts at Le Cordon Bleu. It's a world-renowned culinary institution. You are the third person to taste my cooking."

Bruce spoke without looking back, his hands still busy tidying up the kitchen.

"Who were the first and second?" Kino asked curiously, still chewing his food.

"Alfred and my daughter, Damian."

Bruce's voice was steady and calm.

"Oh... Daughter!" Kino was so shocked that he nearly choked on his food. His eyes widened in disbelief.

At that moment, Alfred walked in, bringing Damian along. Dressed in a casual suit, the small figure now carried a livelier aura, far removed from the cold and distant demeanor she initially had.

Seeing Kino, Damian walked directly over and sat beside him.

"You delivered me, yet you didn't even bother to check?"

Bruce, still focused on preparing breakfast, placed a plate of food in front of Damian, thoughtfully including a glass of milk.

"How was I supposed to check? Strip her down? If Talia had even left her with long hair, I would have noticed something!"

Kino sighed helplessly, recalling how Damian had charged at him shirtless when they first met.

"Who would have thought it was a little girl? That's not how it was written in the comics."

"Mother said long hair was inconvenient for assassination missions." Damian spoke expressionlessly, her young face carrying a maturity and coldness that didn't match her age.

The adults in the room all stiffened upon hearing that. Their expressions darkened as they exchanged glances.

Kino shook his head and continued eating. It wasn't his child, so whether it was a boy or a girl didn't matter to him.

"I need your help with something." Bruce removed his apron and sat across from Kino, his expression serious.

"What is it? Just say it." Kino replied casually.

"I want you to be Damian's godfather and take her with you."

Kino's hands froze, and the kitchen fell into silence, the only sound being Damian's utensils lightly clinking against her plate.

"Too much trouble. I refuse," Kino stated without hesitation.

"Take a look at this first." Bruce took a folder from Alfred and handed it to him.

Kino opened it and found a document—a medical formula.

It was a healing serum.

While he couldn't understand most of the technical jargon, the summary at the bottom explained everything:

It removes the insanity effect of the Lazarus Pit while retaining its healing properties, though not as potent as the original. It can heal most injuries except those to vital areas.

"This was part of our previous deal," Kino noted.

"Look further down," Bruce prompted.

Kino flipped the page, and his gaze was immediately drawn to a bold title—

Wayne Enterprises 20% Stock Transfer Agreement.

Wayne Enterprises was a business giant, not only in Gotham but also globally, with extensive and deep-rooted influence. Owning 20% of its shares was a massive fortune.

Kino's lips twitched. This felt eerily familiar.

"Why do you billionaire geniuses always like giving away stocks?"

"You mean Tony Stark, Iron Man?" Bruce raised an eyebrow. He had read some Marvel comics recently.

"Yes. I already have this serum and 20% of Stark Industries' shares. Plus, I've taken control of the League of Assassins. I don't lack money." Kino folded his arms, looking indifferent.

"It's not about money. With Wayne Enterprises' technology and resources, we can set up production lines for advanced weapons and medical laboratories. As long as you provide the blueprints and formulas, we can manufacture anything in the shortest time possible." Bruce's tone was sincere.

Damian continued eating her breakfast silently, as if none of this concerned her. She didn't seem to care that she was being treated like a product up for negotiation.

"We agree."

Before Kino could respond, Venom appeared in its humanoid form, picked up Damian, and rubbed against her affectionately.

"A soft, fragrant human child!" Venom exclaimed excitedly.

Damian stiffened and cast a pleading look at Bruce.

Bruce simply observed Venom for a moment before choosing not to interfere. Alfred's expression was complicated—his lips moved as if he wanted to say something, but in the end, he remained silent.

Seeing this, Damian lowered her head, her small fists clenched tightly to hide the disappointment in her eyes.

"Fine, I'll agree!" Kino finally relented. It was rare for Venom to show such an intense liking for anything.

Bruce nodded at his response and then turned to Alfred. "Alfred, please help them pack."

Alfred acknowledged the command and led Venom and Damian out of the room. As their figures disappeared, the room fell into silence.

"You should know that the Marvel Universe isn't exactly safe. Why do you want me to take your child there?"

Kino frowned, looking at Bruce with confusion.

Bruce remained calm as he answered, "Yet you still chose the Marvel Universe over the DC Universe."

His words made Kino pause.

"That means the DC Universe is even more dangerous than the Marvel Universe. Or, you believe that no matter what crisis arises in the Marvel Universe, you can survive."

Kino remained silent for a moment. Indeed, whether it was the Hell Bracelet serving as a refuge or Lucifer from the Marvel Universe as his trump card, he always had a way to stay alive.

"...You're right. In the Marvel Universe, no matter what happens, I may not be able to save the world, but I can keep myself and those around me alive."

"That's enough. I just want her to live an ordinary, carefree life."
