Chapter 32: The Vice Captain Of CoreFury
Astrea collapsed after he said, "We won," Roy said, "Klaus, get him to Lumis; he needs help, as he is seriously injured." Klaus replied, "Yes, sir," and lifted Astrea onto his shoulders, ascending to the 9th underground floor.
"Now it's just you and me," Roy remarked. The Guardian countered, "You know you can't win this fight without your holy relic or spirit form; your mana domain alone won't be enough." Roy added, "I would rather die than use those ever again." He then declared, "Star magic double partizan lance!"
The guardian responded, "Oh, you can use your partizans independently without using them together?" As they attacked from opposite sides, the guardian employed black magic eternal shadow, covering himself in a black sphere. Despite being pierced, the guardian survived. Roy questioned, "How are you alive?" The guardian explained, "My only reason for existence is protecting the orb; even if you stop me, others will come to use it for evil. I must protect it at all costs."
Roy expressed reluctance, saying, "I wanted to avoid this fight if possible." He unleashed "Star magic celestial burst" and followed it with "Star magic eternal slashes." Despite the guardian's efforts, Roy continued, "Looks like you aren't as invincible as you thought." He charged with "Star partizan charge," piercing through the guardian's defenses.
The guardian attempted "Black magic burst," but Roy pierced through the dark beam, ultimately defeating the guardian back on the 9th floor. While Lumos healed the unconscious Astrea, Roy declared, "Here is the orb; let's get out of here." Outside the dungeon, Roy concluded, "Let's finish this mission with a bang." He unleashed "Star magic star burst," causing the entire underground dungeon to collapse.
Klaus, astonished, asked, "Sir, how did you do that?"
