Haikyuu - I Am A Different Hinata!

After the game ended with Nekoma's victory, Hinata went towards Kuroo.

"It was a great game, could we play another match?" Hinata asked.

"Another one?" Kuroo questioned with a confused look on his face.

"Oh, of course we can play one more, that's what practice matches are for, right?" Nekomata said.

"Perfect!" Hinata said while heading back with Nekoma's players to drink water before the next game.

"Hey, coach..." Asahi said. 

"What is it? Is there a problem?" Ukai asked.

"Well, as we observed from Nekoma's game, I think it would be worth testing Hinata as a wing spiker and letting me play as middle blocker," Asahi said determinedly.

"Are you sure?" Ukai asked.

"Yes! We all saw that when he left the court we lost considerable strength, not to mention his receives are good, we lose a lot by not having him in defense during rotations, so... PLEASE, DO THIS!" Asahi pleaded.

"Asahi..." The Karasuno players thought, shocked by the scene.

"Alright! Then in the next match, Hinata will play as wing spiker and Asahi as middle blocker. That shouldn't be a problem for you, right?" Ukai said to Hinata.

After this decision, the game took place as dusk approached, with Hinata as wing spiker the game was even more competitive than the other one and ended with a score of 2-1 for Karasuno.

"Look at them, they're all exhausted from the matches," Takeda observed.

"No wonder, most of the sets lasted for a long time!" Ukai said.

"Gather up!" Both team captains shouted, and then Coach Nekomata came to talk with Karasuno's players while Ukai gathered with Nekoma's players.

"His grandfather and I are old acquaintances..." Nekomata said while watching Ukai talking to Nekoma's players.

Hinata was organizing some things with Kageyama when Inuoka came towards him.

"Shoyo, you were incredible! I thought you played as middle blocker but as wing spiker you were even more impressive! Your spikes went like BANG!" Inuoka said excitedly!

"Oh, BANG!? And when you spike what does it sound like?" Hinata asked.

"SOMETHING LIKE BOOM!" Inuoka continued.

"Then when I block it's something like CLAP!" Hinata said.

"I THINK IT'S MORE LIKE POOF!" Inuoka said.

"Why is he encouraging this craziness!?" Kuroo asked while watching the scene.

After finishing cleaning the gym, both teams were saying goodbye in the late afternoon light.

"See you, my friend!" Tanaka said shaking hands with Yamamoto with tears in his eyes.

After watching Daichi and Kuroo shaking hands frantically with each other just like Ukai and Naoi.

"Today we're tied but next time I'm going to wipe the floor with your face!" Ukai said.

"Got your first victory ever against Nekoma and think it'll be that easy to do it again? No way!" Naoi replied.

Then Hinata went to Kenma.

"Hey! Kenma, it was a good match, wasn't it?!" Hinata said.

"a little..." Kenma said in a indifferent tone.

"Does that a little mean not as fun as playing a random game in the middle of the night?" Hinata asked smiling.

"Something like that..." Kenma said.

"Well, next time we meet I'm going to beat you at volleyball and any game you choose!" Hinata provoked.

"Can't wait..., but it won't happen." Kenma said, seeming bothered after Hinata said he would win against him in any game.

After saying goodbye to Nekoma's team, Karasuno's players went to the bus to return to their school.

"Hey! Asahi!... I usually call you a coward but this time you had a brave attitude!" Nishinoya said.

"I won't hide behind titles without even deserving them, and in the end what matters is winning with my friends - and if I need to play even as a setter, I will!" Asahi replied.

After arriving at the gym, Karasuno's volleyball club members gathered and sat on the floor.
