Kong Pili's eyes widened, she couldn't believe that someone was daring enough to kidnap them from the front of the shop. She opened her mouth to scream but the woman who had kidnapped her chopped her on the back of her neck.

"Damn this darned thing," cursed the woman who was hired by Sister Qiao as she looked down at Kong Pili. "She is quite sharp."

The other woman who was following behind snorted and said, "We are lucky that no one was paying attention because of the fuss that mer made, if that mer hadn't caused such a diversion we couldn't have caught them."

The woman who spoke first began to speak but before she could say anything, she saw one of her partners walking over with two mers.

"Why did you bring them with you?" She asked with her eyes widening in anger. "Didn't I tell you that only these two girls will be good enough, Big Dou?"

Big Dou looked around, with her eyes flickering like a rat, she gazed at the people who were eyeing them and patted Yu Mai on the back as if she was helping him fall back to sleep.

"Big Xun, just look at how pretty these two mers look," said Big Dou with a lick of her lips. "If we sell them then we will not have to worry about money for a while."

Big Xun turned furious upon hearing the words of Big Dou but she said nothing as they were still in public. The four women rushed back to the abandoned thatched hut where Sister Qiao was waiting for them.

On the other side, Master Xiao roamed around the street for a while. He looked at the hairpin in his hands and felt content, at least he would be able to use this to coax his sister well.

He walked around the street for a while before returning to the shop, when he saw Yu Jiao Yu and Yu Le, he remembered the slap that Yu Le had given him and his expression which had brightened turned gloomy once again.

Yu Le rolled his eyes when he saw this, he truly had no desire to even speak with this mer much less get into a quarrel with him.

However, just because he didn't want to find trouble it did not mean that trouble would not come to find him.

As soon as he took a step to head out of the shop, Master Xiao glanced at him and said, "Don't think that I will stay silent. Once we go back home, I am going to tell my wife about what you have done to me."

The way he spoke was as if he had faced some really great suffering at the hands of Yu Le.

"Sure, I would also love to tell my niece how you called her brother a money-losing thing," Yu Le shot back. He didn't even look at Master Xiao and continued walking but —

"Where is Cui Cui?" A sharp voice called out from behind and Yu Le turned to look back at his brother. He frowned and asked, "What's wrong?"

"Cui Cui, he—he is missing. And I cannot see Mai either," Yu Jiao Yu hadn't turned his back for long, he had been paying attention to the kids but just now because of Master Xiao, a big crowd surrounded them and they were pushed to one side.

However, he still continued to keep an eye on his sons. Who would have thought that despite all the precautions, Li Cui and Yu Mai still went missing?

Alarm bells started to ring in Yu Le's heart. He looked around and indeed did not see Yu Mai and Li Cui, even Kong Pili and Kong Li were missing.

"Are they not in the shop?" He asked worriedly.

"I have looked around in the shop, I thought they were pushed to one side because of the crowd but even after looking for them throughout the entire shop, I cannot find them," Yu Jiao Yu didn't put the hat off blame on Master Xiao's head but he did glare at him resentfully.

"Why are you glaring at me?" Master Xiao asked when he saw Yu Jiao Yu glare at him. "What does this have to do with me? You are the ones who did not teach your mers well, why are you putting the blame on my head? Most probably they went with some rich woman—"

"You bastard! It is your fault! You created such a loud ruckus which gave others to steal our children and you dare say such disgusting words? I will kill you! Why did you have to come with us?" Yu Le shouted as he rushed forward and caught Master Xiao by his collar.

He shoved him back and Master Xiao stumbled, his expression was no longer as goading as it was earlier, in fact, he now looked feeble chin and scared while looking at Yu Le who was looking at him with great hatred.

"What's going on?" Guo Zian stepped out, he had been looking for Kong Pili and Kong Li in the shop but he didn't find them, he thought that the two of them were outside the shop but then he heard Yu Le scream and yell at Master Xiao.

He got instantly worried thinking that Master Xiao had done something again.

"My nephews are missing!" Yu Le turned to look at Guo Zian and snarled, "It is because of this mer here, that he caused the shop to fall into chaos and someone took advantage of it. And now instead of admitting his fault, he says that my nephews went with a rich woman."

"They are not even thirteen yet!"

"Pili and Li are also missing," said Yu Jiao Yu from the side, his eyes turning red as he started to worry about his son.

Li Cui was so beautiful if he fell into the wrong hands, his life would be ruined.

So how could he not worry?

No sooner did Guo Zian finish listening to Yu Le's words, than his eyes widened. He asked, "The children are missing? Are you sure that they are not somewhere in the shop?" Though he asked this, he already had a very bad feeling as he had not seen the children inside the shop just now.

"Of course, do you think that I will cause trouble for no reason like him," Yu Le said angrily while glaring at Master Xiao? He shouldn't have brought this mer with him. Now look at what he had done.

He wanted to rush ahead and slap Master Xiao once again but as soon as he took a step forward, Guo Zian said, "Uncle Le, please calm down. We will look for the children again, surely —surely they couldn't have been taken away right ?"

If the children went missing again and that too when he was keeping a watch, what would he say to his wife?

Master Xiao didn't understand what was going on at first, in fact, he was gloating when he thought that the two mers of the Yu family had gone missing but now that he had heard that his daughters were also missing, he could not sit still.

"It is you all right? You must have hidden my daughters! You must have taken them away because you want to take revenge on me right? Where have you hidden my daughters? Bring them back! Give them back to me right now!"

As he spoke he rushed forward and tried to slap Yu Le.

Yu Le's face darkened. He caught hold of the wrist of the mer who was running towards him and then pushed him back, "Do you think I am a coward like you? If I wanted to take revenge then I would have gone straight for you instead of going after innocent children!"

Master Xiao fell on his bottom as he couldn't stabilise himself in time when Yu Le pushed him.

Without waiting for Master Xiao to say anything else, Yu Le rushed inside the shop again while Yu Jiao Yu started searching on the street.

Guo Zian and the little mers also started to look for Yu Mai and the rest.

An hour went by but none of them could find the head or tail of the missing children. Worried and flustered, Guo Zian had no choice but to call Madam Kong and Yu Dong.

"What's going on ?" Madam Kong came running along with Yu Dong. She looked really pale as she looked at her husband and questioned, "What's going on? Little Juan said that Pili and Li were taken away again."

She hoped that Little Juan had misheard her husband, how could her daughters be kidnapped for a second time?

Guo Zian glanced at Master Xiao before relaying what had happened to Madam Kong. By the time he finished speaking, Madam Kong was so furious that she wanted to kill Master Xiao then and there.
