GIVE YOU MY HEART [BL]

Chapter 63: HARUKA'S NEW PLACE

-Levi POV-

It's the weekend, and today is the day I promised Haruka to come to his place. Now, here I am standing in front of his new place building. Dumbfounded. I know he said it's a place I'm familiar with, but I didn't expect it to be here. A penthouse in a certain hotel, huh? Hahaha. Based on the location provided, there is only one hotel.

"Sir, are you sure this is the location you entered? This is the Ackerman Hotel Building. Your friend should just tell you that he's staying at the Ackerman Hotel." My driver spoke. Yeah. Exactly. I'm here in front of the Ackerman Hotel. So, his new house is a penthouse here, huh?

"Yeah, this is it. Let's go. Please bring the painting also." I said and made my way to enter the hotel lobby.

"Good evening, Director. What's bringing you here today, sir?" The manager of the hotel welcomed me.

"Don't worry. I'm not here for work. I'm just meeting a friend staying here." I replied, uninterested.

"Alright, sir. Please have a great time." He said that and bowed. Great time? I'm going to get Haruka to explain this to me first. I made my way towards the penthouse private elevator. He did tell me the elevator code to his house, btw.

"Give me the painting. You can leave for now. I'll call when I'm done." I said to my driver and took the painting from him.

"Yes, sir." He bowed and then left.

I press the elevator code to reach the top floor. Then, I arrived in just a moment. I made my way towards Haruka's house. Right, the only penthouse on this floor for the east wing. There's still a lot of boxes outside. Here I am, standing in front of the door. I press the doorbell. A few seconds later, the door swung open, revealing Haruka.

"Ah, you're finally here." He said that with a straight face. That's all he just said?

"Don't just ah, you're here, me. You better explain." I said that with a cold voice.

"Explain to you about what?" He asked me with his innocent face expression. Really?

"About why didn't you tell me earlier that you're moving in here?" I stare straight into his eyes.

"Alright, alright. I'll tell you later, okay? For now, why don't you help me move those boxes inside?" He said, pointing at the boxes there.

"You better explain that to me properly." I said that and got those boxes inside his house. Luckily there's not much, so we managed to get those boxes inside faster.

"Well, thank you. It's going a bit faster with your help." He said while putting the last box at the corner.

"Why didn't you ask the worker who brought your things to move those boxes inside when they're here?" I asked. Now that I think about it, it's a bit strange.

"I don't like letting a stranger come inside my house. Unless I'm not moving in yet. That's why I asked for your help." He replied, making himself towards the kitchen.

"What are you gonna do?" I asked.

"Making something for you to drink. I bought black tea the other day. Would you like it to be hot or cold?" He asked me.

"Why did you buy black tea? I heard you only drink Japanese matcha or oolong tea." I didn't answer his question.

"Well, because you'll be coming today. I figured you would like to have black rather than chocolate. So, hot or cold?" He asked me again. That's the reason? Doesn't he feel weird buying that just because I prefer tea over hot chocolate? He never cared about that before.

"Well, hot. I don't really drink iced tea." I replied, and he just nodded. Straight away, prepare the tea.

"Here." He put the cup on the table. Black tea, which is mine, and he's having iced chocolate. He took a seat not far away from me on the sofa.

"Thank you. So, are you going to tell me or not?" I asked him, breaking the silence.

"Ugh. You really can't wait, right? Honestly, my grandfather didn't say that much. He just told me that your grandfather suggested it to him and came up with the idea of sharing the gift between them. He said that this place is much closer to the main Auclair Residence and your grandfather did provide everything already, so I can just move in." He explained to me, but that doesn't convince me. That's not what I wanted to know, actually.

"Alright, I get that. But what I actually want to know is, why didn't you tell me that you're moving in here?" I asked, looking straight into his eyes.

"Well, surprised. Haha." He said that with an awkward laugh. Seriously, is he trying to act adorable right now? He has never acted like this before. This is crazy. I think I'm getting hard right now.

"Ahem. Well, nevermind then. This time, because it involves my grandfather, I let it slide. So, can I take a look around the house?" I asked him, trying to change the topic.

"Sure, you can. But after we finish unpacking my things." He said that it was like nothing.

"Are you seriously asking me to help you unpack your things?" I asked him for confirmation.

"Yeah. After all, I did ask you to come help me unpacking, not just to send the paintings." He replied. Now that he said that, I do remember him mentioning it.

"Alright, sure. Let's get started then." I said that and finished my tea. He finished his drink too, and then we got started.

-2 hours later-

We're done unpacking his things, and it finished earlier than expected. Well, maybe that's because he didn't bring that much. Of course he doesn't have to. The house is already provided with everything, so he actually just needs to bring his personal belongings. After all, he just asked me to arrange all his books on the shelf btw. I couldn't believe most of the boxes contained only books.

"It didn't take that long with someone's help." He said that after taking a seat on the sofa.

"Right. You should be grateful that I'm here to help." I said that sarcastically.

"Yeah, you're right. Thank you." He said it with a faint smile, but that's enough to make me happy.

"Where did you put the painting?" I asked, just remembered about that.

"In my room, of course. Wouldn't want people to see it if they came. Well, are you hungry? what would you like to eat?" He changed the topic just like that, as quick as ever.

"Anything you want to eat. I don't mind. Even so, I prefer your cooking." I replied with a smirk.

"I haven't gone grocery shopping yet, so my fridge is empty. I cannot cook. So, let's just order something. What do you want to eat?" He asked me again.

"What about you?" I asked him back and looked at me with a glare.

"I'm not really hungry, but you're my guest. So you choose." He protested.

"Well, I'll eat whatever you're going to order." I said.

"I'm being serious, Levi. You're my guest, so please tell me what you want to eat." This time, Haruka said it firmly.

"And I'm serious too. I'm okay with anything, so you can just order anything." I said with a low voice.

"I'm going to order pizza then. What flavour do you eat?" He asked me.

"I can eat all the flavours just fine. So it's up to you." I replied.

"Alright then. I'm going to order now." He said and then took his phone to look through the delivery apps. And after a few minutes, he's done.

"I'm done placing the orders. Now, shall we?" He asked me while I'm still looking at my phone.

"Yeah?" I asked him in confusion. What does he mean?

"I thought you asked me to show you around earlier. Or maybe you're not interested anymore?" He said that with an annoyed face. Ah, I almost forgot about that, actually.

"No. I mean, of course I wanted to look around. Let's go! I wanted to see your bedroom first." I said that excitedly.

"Then let's look on the second floor first." He said, making his way towards the stairs, and I just followed him from behind.

"There's not much to show, I think. The small living room, or, we could say, the seating area on this floor, is complete with a TV and everything else. There are 5 bedrooms and 6 bathrooms. Wait, why am I telling you this? Of course you already know since this hotel is our first project together. Well, on this floor, there are 3 bedrooms. This is my bedroom." He said, pointing at the last bedroom on the floor.

"Can I enter? Well, if you don't mind." I asked for permission.

"Well, you can take a look. There's not much in there, btw." He replied, but then still opened the door.

"Oh, you put the painting here. I'm glad that it's in your room. Maybe you will remember me every time you look at it." I said that with a grin and continued to look around.

"I just put it there because I don't want anyone else to see it. After all, your nickname is there. That's enough here. Let's take a look at another room." He said, dragging me out of the room. Omg, he's holding my arm right now.

"This is the library." He showed him the next room.

"You have this big library, but why did you ask me to arrange your books on the shelves in the living room?" I asked him and then took a look around.

"Because I like it that way." He replied shortly.

"You wanted to show everyone how many books you owned?" I said that to him, rolling my eyes.

"No. That's just how I like to arrange my place. The office room is next. There's not much to see. And then the closet room. This is the gym room. Well, that's all here, so let's just take a look outside." He said that and then brought me outside to the rooftop.

"As you can see, this is the rooftop garden, just like we discussed. Come with the BBQ area and also the outdoor kitchen, outdoor family gathering space area, and also the outdoor swimming pool. Would you like to take a look around the garden then?" He asked me.

"Hmm, maybe not since I already know the design." I replied. Well, I pretty much know the design already, so maybe there's no need to.

"Then, let's take a look downstairs again." He said and made his way towards the stairs, and we went down together.

"Well, as you can see, the main living room has the piano and everything. And the outdoor space with the Eiffel Tower view. The second living room for small occasions. Oh, and we have the powder room in between them. Then, the kitchen, next to it, the formal dining room, and there's also a small dining room for small occasions. There's two bedrooms on this floor, both are attached to the bathroom. And we have another bathroom with the changing room here for the guest to use. Next, we have the indoor pool, then there is the game room, attached with the bowling alley, and also an indoor basketball court. Then the karaoke room, and lastly, the movie theatre. That's all." He said and then took a seat in the movie theatre.

"I can't believe you're living in this big house alone." I said with my eyes still looking around the theatre.

"And believe me, I don't even want to live in a house this big. I told my grandfather many times already. Seriously." He sighed. Well, that's to be expected. He doesn't really like big places like this anyway.

"Why not? You got most of the entertainment here. I bet you don't even have to go out for this. And, did this theatre allow us to watch all the cinemas' now-showing movies also?" I asked, but I could already guess the answer.

"You're right. And if you're thinking that was your grandfather's work, you're right also." He told me before I could ask, and I just chuckled.

"That just sounds like my grandfather. You're lucky. You can simply watch whatever you want. Well, still, you should watch it with someone." I said that to him, looking at him with a smile.

"Say, do you watch anime?" Out of nowhere, he asked me.

"Well, I never watched any of them. But I do know some of them, like Naruto or One Piece." I said, raising my eyes because I'm not sure whether the titles are correct or not.

"There is a new anime movie showing in the cinema right now. Would you like to watch it with me?" He said that suddenly, and that clearly made me shocked.

"You've been acting a bit weird today, you know?"
