"Master..."
When Luo Qing didn't respond, Theresa couldn't hold back any longer. Her hands clasped around his neck, and she leaned in to kiss him.
In the darkened living room, the two on the sofa moved closer together under the shared blanket, their intimacy palpable.
"Master..."
After a moment of kissing, Theresa, her face flushed, pulled back slightly and burrowed deeper into the blanket. Her voice came out muffled.
"Master, you're... still full of energy, aren't you?"
"..."
Feeling Theresa's movements beneath the blanket, Luo Qing was at a loss for words.
Where had she learned these advanced techniques?
Ever since she started hanging around Makoto, her skills had become... suspiciously refined.
Theresa's teasing stoked a fire in him, and Luo Qing could hardly contain himself anymore. Wrapping his arms around her waist, he was just about to sit up and engage her in an "all-night duel" when the sound of a key turning in the doorlock startled them both.
The two froze. Luo Qing quickly feigned sleep, while Theresa dove under the blanket, burying herself completely to avoid being seen.
The door opened quietly.
A girl in a sky-blue uniform stepped into the room—Kamisato Ayaka.
Having chosen to skip the wild strip poker session earlier in favor of learning dance from Nilou, Ayaka had spent the entire evening practicing.
Exhausted after hours of training, she decided to sneak back into the house and teleport home via the "portal toilet."
She glanced at Luo Qing, noting his closed eyes.
Good, I didn't wake him.
Relieved, Ayaka opted not to turn on the lights, stepping lightly in her shoes to avoid making any noise.
But as she passed the sofa where Luo Qing "slept," she paused.
Ayaka hesitated, stealing a look at his peaceful face. Then she glanced toward the stairs.
After a moment's indecision, she took a step closer to him.
Beneath the blanket, Luo Qing's heart raced.
Did she notice us?!
He fought to remain still, subtly tightening his grip on Theresa beneath the blanket to warn her not to move.
The seconds dragged on. Something felt off.
Why wasn't Ayaka making a sound?
Feigning grogginess, Luo Qing cracked open his eyes.
What he saw shocked him.
Ayaka was crouching by his side, propping her face up with her hands. Her gentle smile was sweet enough to melt hearts.
Before he could react, she leaned in, closing her eyes, aiming a kiss at his forehead.
"Ayaka, you—"
"Luo Qing?! You're awake?!"
Startled, Ayaka jerked back, falling onto the floor in a flustered heap.
In the past, Ayaka had always left the house at night to sleep in her own room via teleportation, returning only the next morning. She'd never seen Luo Qing asleep before.
Curiosity had gotten the better of her, and she couldn't resist taking a closer look.
But her plan for a cheeky goodnight kiss had been thwarted by his sudden awakening.
"I-I..." Ayaka stammered, her face turning crimson.
"Ayaka, why are you back so late?" Luo Qing asked as he sat up, raising his knees just enough to create a small barrier under the blanket. Thankfully, Theresa's petite frame made her easier to hide.
If it had been Makoto instead... hiding her would've been impossible.
"I, uh, went to spend some time with Miss Nilou," Ayaka said, her tone evasive.
She wanted to surprise Luo Qing, so she decided not to reveal that she'd been learning to dance.
"Alright, but make sure you come back earlier next time, okay?"
"Mm-hmm, I will," Ayaka replied obediently, nodding.
"Now, it's late. You should get some rest," Luo Qing said gently, patting her on the head.
Life is all about acting, he thought to himself.
With his warm, caring demeanor, no one could have guessed there was someone hiding under the blanket, let alone that the situation had almost escalated into a full-blown battle.
Letting Ayaka go to bed was critical. The longer she stayed, the greater the risk of being discovered.
"Mm..."
Ayaka nodded but didn't make any move to leave. Instead, her gaze softened, lingering on him.
"Luo Qing... um..."
"Yes?" Luo Qing asked, forcing himself to stay calm.
"I, uh..." Ayaka's face turned redder, her voice barely above a whisper.
Oh no, she wants a goodnight kiss, Luo Qing realized.
"Of course," he said, feigning composure.
He cupped Ayaka's face gently and leaned in for a kiss.
Unlike their earlier encounters, Ayaka was no longer as shy. Within moments, she matched his pace, deepening the kiss with surprising confidence.
After a few minutes, they finally parted.
"Goodnight, Ayaka. Get some rest," Luo Qing said with a soft smile.
But instead of leaving, Ayaka blushed and hesitated.
"Um, Luo Qing..."
"Yes?"
"I... I'd like... one more kiss."
"..."
[Frustration Points from Luo Qing: +1]
"Alright..." he sighed internally.
As their kissing grew more passionate, Theresa's movements under the blanket became more restless. Luo Qing felt like he was being torn apart.
This is torture!
"Okay, but this is the last one," he said.
"Mm..." Ayaka nodded, leaning in once more.
Their second kiss lasted even longer than the first.
"Goodnight, Ayaka. Now, back to bed, okay?" Luo Qing said gently.
But Ayaka had other ideas.
"Luo Qing, can I sit with you for a while?"
Her hopeful gaze betrayed her desire to stay close, to cuddle and share sweet nothings.
"Uh..."
[Frustration Points from Luo Qing: +1]
Luo Qing was starting to panic. Theresa's movements were growing louder, and any more delays could spell disaster.
Just as he was scrambling for an excuse, the hallway lights flicked on.
Both of them turned toward the stairs, where Makoto stood, her arms crossed.
Dressed in a dark purple silk nightgown, her eyes glimmered faintly with violet light, her presence radiating authority.
"Ayaka, that's enough for tonight. It's time for bed."
"Ah, yes... Sister Makoto..."
Though reluctant, Ayaka had no choice but to obey. She cast one last longing glance at Luo Qing before following Makoto upstairs.
As they ascended, Makoto glanced back at the sofa.
Her piercing gaze seemed to cut through the leather and see straight to the hidden Theresa beneath the blanket.
"You shouldn't stay up too late, Luo Qing," she said softly, her tone laden with meaning. "We have an early morning tomorrow."
