Chapter 57: Archery
Amber was looking at Aether, as she was blinking as she looked at they were at the training area, to be more correct it was dht Archery side of the Knight of Favonius
Amber blinked as she looked at him. "You want me too teach you Archery".
Aether nodes his head as he spoke. "Yeah, I want you too teach me".
Amber looked at him as she spoke. "Don't you know how to use it, your a prince".
Aether scratched the back of his head. "Will funny story".
Flash back
As it shows a Kid Aether, as he was weairng a royal outfit as his teacher was teaching him how to shoot a bow at the wooded target, as it goes flying then it bounced of, as then bounced to a few trees as it goes to the back to the his teach and will the arrows went up the Archery Teacher Ass
End of Flash Back
Aether then looked at Amber holding the same golden bow. "After that day no one wanted to teach me Archery, I learned other weapons like the Spear and even learned how to use crossbow".
Amber just blinked as she spoke. "Ok but why me".
Aether srugged a he smiled at her. "Your the best Mondstandt has that is why, plus you my girlfriend".
Amber blushed as she looked at him. "Hey you can't just say".
Aether then continued. "Plus your only one of what 20 archer that actually are archer in Mondstandt that are knight, you are quick and kinda stay in the whiled".
As then Aether saw the Crit System
[ Host, Unless you want a arrow up your ass by your girlfriend, stop saying what you are saying to Amber ]
Aether once again looker at his crit system and looked at Amber who was getting bad and drawing her bow. "And um, you are cute and nice and fun to be around".
Aether's words were met with an unsettling silence, and he could feel Amber's gaze intensifying. The air around them seemed to shift, the quiet crackle of the bowstring making the tension palpable.
Amber took a deep breath, her fingers tightening on the bow as her eyes narrowed. "Really? You think that'll get you out of this?"
Aether, realizing the impending danger, quickly raised his hands in a defensive gesture. "Wait, wait, I didn't mean it like that! I was just—"
But Amber was already pulling the bowstring back, her usual cheerful demeanor replaced with a determined look. The arrow was aimed directly at him.
"Are you sure you want to continue this conversation, Aether?" she asked, her voice a mixture of teasing and warning.
Aether's eyes widened, a bead of sweat forming on his forehead as he raised his hands even higher, trying to appease her. "Okay, okay! I'm sorry! I just wanted to compliment you, but I think I messed up there."
Amber's lips twitched, almost as if she was about to laugh, but she kept the bowstring taut. "You really know how to make things interesting, don't you?"
Aether gave a nervous chuckle, stepping back a little. "Yeah, I've been told that before."
Amber finally released her grip on the bow, the arrow flying past Aether's ear and embedding itself deep into the target. The impact was strong, a clear sign of her expertise, but there was no physical harm to Aether.
"That's better," Amber said, lowering the bow and giving him a playful smirk. "But next time, I'll aim for something else, got it?"
Aether let out a relieved sigh, his heart still racing from the near miss. "Got it. Definitely learned my lesson there."
She walked over to him, tapping the golden bow against his shoulder lightly. "Now, as for your archery lesson... let's start with the basics. No more distractions, okay?"
Aether nodded vigorously, his usual carefree demeanor returning. "No distractions, I promise."
Amber grinned, obviously enjoying the shift in the mood. "Good. Now, let's see if you can actually hit the target without sending the arrow to a tree or—" she paused, glancing over at the other archery targets, "—without nearly impaling yourself again."
Aether scratched his head, feeling a bit embarrassed. "I'll try my best. Though, after that whole arrow incident, I don't think I'm ever going to live that one down."
Amber laughed, her voice light and full of amusement. "Don't worry, I'll make sure you don't forget."
As she guided him through the steps of aiming and shooting, Aether couldn't help but smile. Despite his awkwardness and the ridiculousness of his past, Amber was patient with him. And that meant more to him than he cared to admit.
Aether pulled the string, as he looked at Amber. "Is this good".
Amber looked as she spoke. "Yes, you have Anemo Vision right, will then again your Wizard, so just follow the wind and shoot".
Aether noded as he pulled the string of his golden bow, as he pulled the string fully but too much the arrows glowed with a golden glow as eh sent flying.
[ Host has crit in accuracy, host has created in Archer, Host has Crit in Attack, Host how amber Aime was not correct, 1 million times crit effect started multiplying, heaven's defining good luck Actived ]
The arrows when flying it missed the targets but hit a wall, as went through like bullet it went flying a few more and hit a tree and cut in half as it then stopped at the lake as it killed a slime.
Aether just looked at Arrow which only the Archon's knew where It was to hide the system he just spoke. "Will this Bow is strong".
Amber blinked in disbelief as she watched the arrows soar across the training area, barely even grazing the target before they continued on an unpredictable journey, tearing through walls, trees, and even striking a slime in the lake with deadly precision.
Her jaw hung open, eyes wide with shock. "That... was not what I expected."
Aether, looking equally stunned, scratched the back of his head awkwardly, trying to hide the unease he felt from the system's unexpected feedback. "Uh... I guess I overdid it?"
The golden bow in his hands seemed to hum with an almost eerie power, the aftereffects of his shot still rippling through the air.
"That's an understatement," Amber finally managed to say, her tone a mix of awe and concern. "You almost destroyed half the training grounds in a single shot. That's... insane."
Aether glanced over at her sheepishly, trying to avoid making eye contact. "Well, at least I didn't hit anything important, right? Just... the usual stuff."
Amber let out a breath, trying to regain her composure. "I'm just trying to figure out how the heck you managed to shoot with that much force. You're not even using Anemo Vision to guide the shot like you should."
Aether, his thoughts racing, quickly tried to deflect the topic. "It's the bow, I think. It has some kind of strange power."
Amber's eyebrows furrowed in thought, eyeing him curiously. "The bow's power? But I've never seen anything like this in Mondstadt. What kind of weapon even does that?"
Before Aether could respond, the sound of heavy footsteps echoed from the distance. Eula, having been training nearby, approached them with a skeptical expression.
"Is everything alright?" she asked, her gaze shifting from the distant target to Aether, who was still holding the golden bow.
Amber glanced at Eula, then back at Aether, a smile tugging at her lips. "Well, we're just getting started with Aether's archery lesson... and, um, things got a little out of hand."
Eula raised an eyebrow, clearly unimpressed. "From the looks of it, things have gone completely out of hand."
Aether cleared his throat, trying to explain. "It's just that... this bow, it has a kind of mind of its own. I didn't even mean to hit all those things."
Amber added, trying to downplay the situation. "Maybe it's just a really, really powerful bow. No harm done, right?"
Eula sighed, her arms crossed as she examined the damage. "I'll be the judge of that. It might be a bit more than we bargained for. Still, I suppose this will give me an opportunity to test out my ice techniques."
Aether smirked, hoping to avoid the further consequences of his unintentional destruction. "Yeah, maybe you can freeze the lake and catch the slime for later."
Amber rolled her eyes but couldn't help but laugh at the absurdity of it all. "You're lucky Eula's in a good mood, Aether. If she weren't here, I think you'd be cleaning up this mess for days."
As they all surveyed the scene, Aether couldn't shake the feeling that his accidental display of power with the golden bow was just the beginning. What had started as a simple archery lesson had turned into something far more complicated. Still, he couldn't help but be curious about the bow's true potential—and the strange, seemingly prophetic aura it carried with it.
He had to admit, this was going to be one interesting journey ahead.
As Aether continued to hold the golden bow, his mind raced with curiosity about its power. Amber and Eula seemed to be talking amongst themselves about how best to handle the situation, but Aether couldn't shake the feeling that the bow was more than just a mere weapon—it seemed to have its own will.
"Alright," Amber said, stepping forward and gesturing to the target. "Let's try this again. Maybe with a little more control this time."
Aether nodded, focusing on the bow, trying to steady his hand. He could feel the weight of it in his grip, a strange hum of energy coursing through his fingers. Amber gave him a brief but encouraging smile, as if to say, You've got this.
"Remember, you need to guide your shot using the wind," she reminded him. "But don't force it, just let it flow through you."
Aether nodded again and focused on his breathing. He recalled his previous attempt—what had gone wrong? He wasn't sure. One moment, the bow felt light, the next it was pulling him into an explosion of power. This time, he thought, I'll take it slow.
He drew the string back with calculated precision, aiming carefully. The wind, guided by his Anemo Vision, swirled around him. Aether felt a subtle connection with it, and he took a deep breath, allowing it to guide his aim. Slowly, he released the string.
The arrow flew smoothly, soaring through the air with grace. It struck the target dead center. But the result was far less dramatic than before—no wall crashing, no trees splitting. It just hit the target, clean and true. Aether smiled to himself, pleased with his improvement.
[ Host has crit in accuracy. Host has crit in Archery. Host has crit in Control. ]
The voice of the Crit system echoed in Aether's mind, and he grinned. It seemed his control had increased significantly with this shot. He felt the power surging through the bow, but it wasn't overwhelming this time. It was more like a soft current, steady and manageable.
Amber clapped her hands, clearly impressed. "That was much better! You're getting the hang of it."
Aether glanced over at her with a satisfied smirk. "Yeah, I think I am. But this bow… it feels like there's more to it."
Amber's eyes sparkled with curiosity. "More to it? What do you mean?"
Aether paused, pondering the feeling the bow gave him. "It's like it has a life of its own. I'm not sure if it's me or the bow that's guiding the shots sometimes. It's almost like it wants to do more than I do."
Eula, who had been watching the demonstration with arms folded, spoke up. "Sounds like the bow is reacting to your abilities. If you've managed to string it, it means it recognizes something within you. You're more attuned to it than you realize."
Aether wasn't sure if he liked the idea of the bow "recognizing" something in him. Still, he felt an undeniable bond with it now.
"Maybe I should give it another shot," Aether said, his eyes gleaming with determination.
Amber raised an eyebrow. "Careful, Aether. We don't want another slime massacre."
Aether chuckled and readied the bow once again. This time, he would focus not only on controlling the arrow's trajectory but on the power behind the shot as well. He drew back the string, feeling the familiar energy surge through his arms. The bow glowed faintly, a golden hue shimmering around the string. He had never felt so in sync with a weapon before.
[ Host has crit in Attack. Host has crit in Accuracy. Host has crit in Control. Crit effect: +500% accuracy, +1000% attack power. Host has activated Heaven's Defining Good Luck. ]
Aether's eyes widened as the Crit system's information flooded his mind. The bow's power seemed to amplify with each shot. He released the string, and the arrow shot forth with unprecedented speed and force. It didn't just hit the target—it obliterated it. The arrow continued through the air, sailing far beyond the target, piercing a distant tree with a loud crack. A few seconds later, the tree splintered and fell.
Amber stared, slack-jawed. "Okay, that's definitely not what I was expecting."
Aether blinked, his heart pounding in his chest. Did I do that?
The golden bow hummed in his hands, as if alive, reacting to his excitement. He could feel the power that had built up from the Crit effects still swirling around him. "Well," he said, trying to sound casual, "I guess I've learned a little more control."
Eula gave him an appraising look. "You've learned a lot more control. Just make sure next time you don't tear the entire training field apart."
Aether laughed nervously. "I'll try not to."
Amber, now grinning, gave him a thumbs-up. "That was awesome! But, uh, next time… maybe aim for the target?"
"Yeah, I think I'll work on that," Aether said, smiling sheepishly.
As the group watched the results of Aether's training, there was no denying the sheer potential of the golden bow in his hands. Its power was beyond anything any of them had seen, but it was also a challenge to wield, one that Aether would have to learn to master.
Still, the Crit system had given him an unexpected boost, and with each shot, he felt more attuned to the weapon. It was as though the bow wasn't just a tool—it was a part of him, guiding him, pushing him to reach new heights.
"Alright," Aether said, lowering the bow for a moment. "I think I've got it for today. But I'll keep practicing, so next time, I don't leave the entire forest in ruins."
Amber smiled, giving him a playful nudge. "Looking forward to it, Aether. Just... don't blow up the training field, okay?"
Aether chuckled, a sense of excitement rising within him. Whatever mysteries the bow held, he was ready to explore them—one shot at a time.
