Genshin Impact: Selling Pokemons in Teyvat

Chapter 38: Chapter 38

Landorus didn't respond. Instead, it gently brushed its hand over the ground, and the shifting soil formed two massive hands that tightly gripped Osial.

"Landorus, use Swords Dance," Li Pan said softly. After all, he had never let Landorus face the high-tier combatants of this world before. It was better to play it safe and avoid any potential disasters.

Landorus nodded, not pressing the attack but obediently beginning a strange dance.

"What are you doing? Dancing to celebrate my return?"

Osial laughed loudly.

The air in the underground palace grew increasingly humid, and the heavy sound of crashing waves outside penetrated the rock walls.

As Landorus danced, several phantom swords formed around its body, moving in sync with it.

Swords Dance!

Osial's expression changed.

A sense of foreboding rose in its heart.

Was it just its imagination, or was the aura of this cloud creature steadily increasing?

Holy crap, it's not an illusion! This thing's aura is really getting stronger!

The ancient deity finally realized something was wrong and began struggling desperately.

This thing was already strong enough.

If it were just the Chi facing it, they'd definitely lose. And now, this creature's aura was still climbing.

Who knew what kind of secret technique it was using? It was terrifying.

The immense strength of the Chi caused the earthen arms binding it to crumble.

Finally, the arms formed by Earth Power shattered, and Osial fell to the ground. The water elements in the air, gradually recovering as the seal broke, gathered around it, forming a vortex that protected it.

As the Overlord of the Vortex, this was second nature to Osial.

But Osial didn't let its guard down. Instead, it began frantically communicating with the water outside.

It was the Overlord of the Vortex. Only in water could it unleash its full power.

At the same time, it started running toward the rock wall. Even through the thick stone, it could almost smell the rain outside.

Just get there. As long as I can reach that place…

As the rock wall grew closer, Osial's single eye widened in anticipation. Outside, the surging waves seemed to sense their master approaching and began pounding the rock wall with even greater force, causing the mountain to tremble slightly.

Meanwhile, Landorus calmly began its second Swords Dance, coldly watching Osial flee.

"Almost there, almost there!"

Osial looked at the increasingly close rock wall with excitement. It could clearly feel the explosive aura of the monster behind it.

That was completely abnormal!

Secret techniques that greatly enhanced one's power in a short time usually came with severe side effects, let alone the fact that Landorus's aura had more than doubled compared to when they first met.

Such terrifying techniques almost always ended in death, and some even erased all traces of the user's existence.

No one in the world would remember their sacrifice. Everyone would forget them.

Faced with such an outcome, even the immortal Osial felt a chill run down its spine.

But the creature behind it had used it without a second thought, directly unleashing it.

At this moment, Osial wanted to curse. What kind of spell had Morax cast on you to make you willing to risk such severe side effects just to kill me?

A being suspected to be an adeptus using a life-threatening technique, even Osial's true form would have to retreat in the face of that, let alone now when it was just an eye.

It didn't know that Swords Dance had no side effects for Pokémon. It was just a regular enhancement move.

"Landorus, grab it!"

But just then, that damned human spoke again.

In the next moment, just as Osial was about to touch the rock wall, a tremendous force came from above.

Osial struggled to turn the Chi's head and saw a yellowish figure standing behind it. Its thick arms grabbed Osial's serpent head and lifted it into the air.

Shadows covered Landorus's face, making it look extremely fierce.

After two Swords Dances, Landorus's power had increased to a terrifying level. It gripped Osial's water-formed head, the pressure from all sides almost causing Osial's single eye to burst.

The Chi's powerful body was like a tiny toy in Landorus's hands now.

In the next moment, Landorus swung its arm violently, dragging Osial's head and slamming it into the ground like a hammer throw. It was pure, unrelenting force, giving Osial no chance to reason.

With a thud, Osial's serpent head was torn off by Landorus, and the Chi's body was sent flying, crashing into the rock wall and raising a cloud of dust.

Covered in dust, the Chi didn't choose to fight back against Landorus. Instead, it frantically began clawing at the rock wall in front of it.

When Osial had controlled it earlier, its consciousness had remained clear, so it had sensed Landorus's overwhelming power.

That was something it couldn't contend with. They weren't even on the same level.

Now, the Chi just wanted to escape as quickly as possible. It didn't care about the weakened Morax anymore. As long as it could get away, everything would be fine.

Crack.

Just then, it heard the sound of rocks breaking nearby.

Its body stiffened, and it instinctively turned to look.

It saw an Abyss Mage, its elemental shield gone, kneeling on the ground, staring at it with the same horrified expression.

In its hands was a branch from the Ley Lines, which it was using to dig a hole.

It, too, was terrified. Who fought like this? Was it really not afraid of death? Seeing each other, both the Chi and the Abyss Mage breathed a sigh of relief.

At this moment, the two beings who should have been mortal enemies joined forces.

They exchanged a glance—they were both escapees.

The Chi reached out and removed the rock about to fall on the Abyss Mage's head, then continued carefully digging, trying not to alert the two still fighting.

…

Outside Qingce Village, the organized and buffed Millelith had completely defeated the swarms of Chi Beasts and were now mopping up the stragglers.

Keqing, who had been tense since arriving here, finally allowed a faint smile to appear on her face.

But in the next moment, her gaze fell on the mountain that stood tall even amidst the floodwaters, and her expression darkened again.

She knew what was inside, the Chi sealed by the Geo Archon. The floodwaters madly pounding the mountain were likely the Chi trying to break Morax's seal.

But it seemed like it hadn't had much effect. Even the waves had calmed down. Morax's seal, after thousands of years, was still holding strong.

Yet, Keqing couldn't shake a sense of unease. She wouldn't feel at ease until she saw the seal with her own eyes.

Keqing didn't tell anyone else. Instead, she gripped her sword tightly, holding an old hairpin in her hand. While the other Millelith were patrolling and searching for stragglers, she quietly made her way up the mountain.

What was inside was a beast that had once rivaled the Geo Archon. She had to be careful. As a Vision holder and one of the Liyue Qixing, it was her duty to lead the charge.

To move faster, she didn't even bring Luxray or Elekid with her.

She was fast, perfect for this kind of task.

But she hadn't gone far when she suddenly noticed someone standing ahead.

Keqing paused, realizing it was Xiangling. Luxray and Elekid stood behind her, eagerly watching her.

"Lady Keqing, you were planning to go in alone to investigate, weren't you? That's not right. You even left your companions behind. That's an even bigger offense. As punishment, you'll have to try my new dish when we get back."

Xiangling said with a grin, the carefree girl finally returning to her usual self.

Keqing was stunned for a moment, then a gentle smile appeared on her face. "...Alright."

But as soon as she finished speaking, a violent tremor suddenly came from behind.

The sudden disturbance startled the Millelith below, as well as Keqing and Xiangling. They all warily looked in the direction of the sound.

It was coming from halfway up the mountain. Suddenly, the ground there began to sink, and a massive beast burst out.

The moment Keqing saw the beast, her pupils contracted.
