(A/n: almost a month now and I'm still not yet change the synopsis..... so i did it just now and adding tag that relate to this fic..... anyway you guys already know who is Lucien right?)
At the ticket counter, Lucien approached the clerk and spoke calmly.
"Two adult tickets and one child ticket, please."
The seller nodded, quickly preparing the tickets and handing them over.
"That'll be 80 dollars."
Lucien pulled out his wallet and handed the money over before walking back to Cecilia and Kiana, who was still comfortably seated in her mother's arms.
"I'm back. Got the tickets."
Kiana's eyes lit up the moment she heard the word "tickets." Her excitement bubbled over as she began squirming in Cecilia's arms, trying to free herself.
"Let me go, Mom! I wanna go inside!"
Cecilia, however, held her firmly and chuckled softly.
"Kiana, behave. The carnival isn't going anywhere."
Kiana pouted, crossing her arms while still in Cecilia's embrace. Lucien smiled at the scene, shaking his head.
"You're always in such a rush, aren't you?"
"Because it's Homu Carnival! It's the best place ever!"
Cecilia and Lucien exchanged a fond glance, and then the family made their way toward the gate of the carnival.
Lucien looked at the massive array of games and attractions, then turned to his family with a smile.
"We're finally here! So, which game should we play first?"
Kiana immediately raised her hand, waving it frantically.
"Oh, oh! Let's ride the Homu rollercoaster!"
Cecilia shook her head gently, her voice firm but kind.
"Rejected. You're still too young for that."
Kiana's face dropped in disappointment.
"Awwww..."
Lucien gently pinching her cheek with a playful smile.
"How about we try something a little lighter first, like..."
Cecilia interrupted with a suggestion, her tone cheerful.
"Teacups?"
Lucien nodded in agreement, grinning.
"Yes! We'll do the teacups first."
Kiana's pout instantly turned into a wide grin as she bounced excitedly.
"Okay, okay! Teacups it is!"
Cecilia carefully placed Kiana down on her feet but made sure to hold onto her hand.
"Alright, let's go. But stay close."
The three of them walked hand-in-hand toward the colorful teacup ride, the sound of cheerful carnival music and laughter surrounding them.
Inside the teacups ride, Kiana sat eagerly between Lucien and Cecilia, her hands firmly gripping the wheel in the center of their teacup. She giggled as she spun it slightly, causing their teacup to sway gently with the ride's motion.
Cecilia turned her attention to Lucien, as she struck up a conversation.
"So, dear," Cecilia began, her voice light but teasing, "how was work today? I heard someone decided to skip."
Lucien coughed abruptly, his expression caught between guilt and defense. "I have a valid reason..."
Cecilia raised an brow. "Oh? And what reason might that be?"
Lucien straightened up, placing a hand on his chest. "To spend time with you and Kiana, of course! I can't waste my life sitting in that office doing paperwork." He gave a slight, over-the-top cough.
Cecilia chuckled, though she shook her head. "That's sweet of you, dear, but please make sure you complete your work first, alright? You are the current head of the Kaslana family, after all."
Lucien sighed, scratching the back of his head. "Ahem, I understand. By the way, where did you even hear about this?"
A knowing smile spread across Cecilia's face. "Theresa told me."
Lucien groaned, a look of exaggerated l on his face. "That little chibi! She's trying to sabotage me!"
The teacup spun as Kiana excitedly twisted the wheel in the center, making their ride wobble more faster than the others. Her giggles filled the air.
Cecilia raised a brow, a sly smile playing on her lips. "Theresa's just doing her duty. Besides, she always keeps me informed. You can't hide anything from her."
Lucien leaned back with a groan, resting an arm over the back of the teacup. "I swear, that chibi is a spy planted to keep tabs on me. I need to figure out how to outsmart her..."
Kiana, catching part of the conversation, glanced up at her father. "Dad, what's a chibi? Is that Aunt Theresa? Why do you call her that?"
Lucien ruffled Kiana's hair, smirking. "It's a nickname, kiddo. She's just... fun-sized."
Cecilia chuckled softly, shaking her head. "Fun-sized or not, Theresa cares about you, dear."
Lucien waved it off, crossing his arms. "Yeah, yeah. Still, she's the one who ratted me out today. I'll need to watch my back."
Kiana, still spinning the wheel, giggled. "Dad's scared of Aunt Theresa!"
Lucien looked at her with mock indignation. "Scared? Me? I just prefer not to deal with her, that's all!"
Cecilia laughed, leaning into him slightly. "You're hopeless, dear."
The teacup slowed as the ride came to a stop, and Kiana immediately jumped up, tugging on both her parents' hands. "Let's go, let's go! Next ride!"
Lucien sighed but smiled, standing up. "Alright, alright, little rascal. Lead the way."
As they stepped off the ride, Cecilia looked at Lucien with a playful glint in her eyes. "By the way, dear, Theresa said she might drop by later for dinner."
Lucien froze for a moment, his smile faltering. "What?! No one invited her!"
Cecilia smile. "Oh, but she invited herself. She's family, after all."
Lucien's dramatic proclamation rang loud and clear. "I knew it! She wants to steal you from me, Cecilia! But no matter what, I will never let her!"
Before Cecilia could respond, an indignant voice cut through the commotion.
"Who is stealing who here?!" Theresa suddenly jumped out from another ride, hands on her hips. "It's clear as day that you stole Cecilia from me first! I met her before you ever did!"
Lucien crossed his arms, glaring down at the much shorter woman. "Hmph! Say what you want, chibi! It won't change the fact that Cecilia is my wife! My wife!" He then broke into a triumphant laugh. "Hahaha!"
Theresa's face turned red with frustration. "You… you smug jerk!" Without another word, she lunged forward, clasping her hands against Lucien's, and they began to push against each other in a comical battle of strength.
"You don't stand a chance, Theresa!" Lucien declared, leaning forward.
"Just wait until I win, and then Cecilia will realize she's better off with me!" Theresa retorted, giving it her all.
Meanwhile, Cecilia sighed and took Kiana's hand, gently leading her away from the scene. "Honestly, those two never grow up."
As they walked away, the faint sound of Lucien and Theresa bickering carried in the background.
"I will defeat you, chibi!"
"In your dreams, you overgrown dolt!"
Kiana giggled as she looked back at her father and aunt. "Dad and Aunt Theresa are so funny!"
Cecilia smiled softly. "Oh,It's their way of showing they care for each other... in their own strange way."
Kiana nodded thoughtfully, swinging her arm as she held Cecilia's hand. "Why Dad scared that Aunt gonna steal you?"
Cecilia chuckled. "Your dad just loves me a lot, that's all. But don't worry—Your Aunt isn't really trying to steal me. She just enjoys teasing him I guess?."
As they reached the water stand, Cecilia bought a few bottles, handing one to Kiana.
Kiana took a sip "Mom, do you think Dad will win?"
Cecilia glanced back at the two, still locked in their "battle." She shook her head with a knowing smile. "Honestly, I think they'll both lose... eventually."
As Theresa and Lucien locked hands in their ridiculous pushing contest, both of them grunted dramatically.
Lucien smirked. "Give it up, Theresa! Your tiny hands can't match my strength!"
Theresa glared. "Hah! Don't underestimate me! I may be small, but I'm still S class Valkyrie!!"
Their childish bickering drew a few stares from nearby people, but neither seemed to care.
Back at the scene of the "fight," both Lucien and Theresa were now panting.
Theresa growled. "You're... surprisingly strong... for someone so lazy!"
Lucien smile, trying to catch his breath. "And you're... surprisingly stubborn... for someone so tiny!"
Cecilia and Kiana returned just in time to see both of them collapse onto a bench, utterly exhausted.
Cecilia handed each of them a bottle of water. "Here. Hydrate before you pass out."
Kiana giggled, climbing onto Lucien's lap. "Dad, Aunt Theresa, you both look so tired! Maybe don't fight next time?"
Lucien took the water with a sheepish grin. "Not a chance, kiddo. Someone's gotta keep your aunt in check."
Theresa took her bottle and huffed. "And someone's gotta make sure your dad doesn't get too cocky."
Cecilia smiled warmly at the two.
Theresa walked over to Cecilia and hugged her arm tightly. "Cecilia, I missed you so much!"
Cecilia smiled warmly. "I missed you too, Theresa. But... how did you even end up here?"
Before Theresa could answer, Lucien opened his mouth. "She—"
Cecilia shot him a look that made him immediately close his mouth. He coughed awkwardly and turned away.
Theresa quickly jumped in, putting on her best innocent smile. "Ahem! Well, uh, my grandpa gave me a vacation today, so I thought I'd come here and... play!"
Cecilia gave her a knowing smile, clearly unconvinced but deciding to let it slide. "Well, I don't mind at all. You're welcome to join us today." She turned to Kiana with a gentle look. "Right, Kiana?"
Kiana beamed and hopped excitedly. "Yes, Aunt Theresa! Come with us! It'll be so much fun!"
Cecilia then turned her gaze to Lucien, her smile still sweet but with an edge that made him nervous. "Right, dear?"
Lucien froze, sensing the danger in her tone. "Uh... I—"
Cecilia's smile didn't waver. "R-i-g-h-t, dear?"
Lucien gulped, nodding quickly. "Y-yes, of course! It'll be... great."
Theresa smirked at Lucien, clearly enjoying his discomfort. "Heh. Thanks, Cecilia! You're always so kind to me."
Cecilia chuckled softly. "Of course, Theresa. You're family."
Lucien muttered under his breath, "Too kind sometimes..."
Kiana jumped excitedly, grabbing Theresa's hand. "Aunt Theresa, come on! Let's pick the next ride together!"
Theresa happily let Kiana pull her forward, while Cecilia chuckled at the sight.
Cecilia nudged Lucien with a knowing smile. "See? It won't be so bad."
Lucien sighed again, muttering under his breath, "That's what I'm afraid of..."
As the group walked deeper into the carnival, Kiana pointed excitedly at a large Ferris wheel. "Let's ride that next!"
Theresa nodded. "Great idea, Kiana! It's a perfect chance for me to enjoy the view with Cecilia!"
Lucien immediately stepped forward. "No way! If anyone's riding with Cecilia, it's me."
Cecilia placed a calming hand on his shoulder. "Dear, there's enough space for all of us to ride together. No need to argue."
Lucien and Theresa exchanged a glance but reluctantly agreed.
As they approached the Ferris wheel, Kiana turned to Cecilia. "Mom, can we sit at the very top?"
Cecilia smiled and ruffled her daughter's hair gently. "Of course, sweetheart."
Theresa grinned at Lucien. "Better not get scared. I heard this Ferris wheel goes really high."
Lucien rolled his eyes. "Please, I'm not scared of heights."
As the family boarded their cabin on the Ferris wheel, Lucien couldn't help but glance warily at Theresa, who was clearly plotting something.
The ride started moving, and Kiana pressed her face against the window, marveling at the view. "Wow! Look at how tiny everything looks!"
Cecilia wrapped an arm around Kiana, smiling warmly. "It's beautiful, isn't it?"
As the Ferris wheel reached its peak, the cabin swayed gently, and Kiana giggled. "We're at the top!"
Cecilia smiled, holding Kiana close. "Yes, we are. Isn't it amazing?"
Lucien glanced at Cecilia and Kiana, his stern expression softening. Despite Theresa's here, moments like these made everything worth it.
Theresa, noticing the change in his demeanor, quietly smiled to herself. Maybe she fight with him a lot, but deep down, she knew Lucien cared just as much as she did about keeping Cecilia and Kiana happy.

Clouds loomed darker overhead, casting a gray shadow over the camp. Luna stood with her head slightly bowed, enduring Amber's relentless scolding. To her, it felt like an eternity.
Luna thought to herself, This can't still be just a few minutes... it must be hours by now!
Suddenly, a cool droplet of rain fell on Luna's head. She blinked and looked up, interrupting Amber mid-sentence.
"Amber, maybe we should leave—it's about to rain," Luna said, pointing at the sky.
Amber opened her mouth to refute but stopped when a second droplet landed on her hand.
Eula, observing the sky, nodded in agreement. "We should change locations. It's going to pour soon."
Luna let out a quiet sigh of relief, grateful for the sudden escape from Amber's lecture.
Amber frowned slightly but relented. "Hmm, that's true. We'll continue this discussion after we're back in the city."
"Got it!" Luna quickly agreed, eager to avoid any more scolding.
The first few drops of rain started turning into a light drizzle as the three began their trek back toward Mondstadt, the sound of raindrops hitting the leaves and the distant rumble of thunder signaling the incoming storm.
As they made their way back toward Mondstadt, Luna's gaze drifted to the looming silhouette of Dragonspine Mountain in the distance. Its snow-capped peaks and eerie, perpetual frost seemed to radiate a strange energy that tugged at her thoughts.
Luna slowed her steps, her eyes narrowing. "Why do I feel so... weird?" she wondered, a faint unease settling in her chest.
Amber, noticing Luna lagging behind, called out, "Luna, hurry up! It's going to rain harder soon!"
Snapping out of her thoughts, Luna gave her head a quick shake, as if to dispel the strange feeling. "Coming!" she called back, quickening her pace to catch up.
Eula glanced back at Luna but said nothing, silently observing her with a raised brow.
Luna shoved her hands into her pockets, forcing a smile as she fell into step behind them. She didn't want to worry anyone—especially not Amber. "It's probably nothing..." she told herself, though the unsettling sensation lingered in the back of her mind as they continued their walk back to the city.
