Chapter 51: Boosting Izashi's Devil Magic

Zeoticus supported Izashi's suggestion with a hearty chuckle, his voice full of warmth and approval. "Yes, yes, why not? She's going to be your wife, after all. Make sure to have a heart-to-heart talk with her, son."

Izashi gave a respectful nod, a smile tugging at the corners of his lips. "Thank you, Zeoticus-sama. I'll make sure of it."

With that, Izashi left the grand hall, his steps confident as he walked down the ornate corridor with Ravel at his side. The silence between them was thick with unspoken words, and Izashi deliberately kept his thoughts to himself, waiting for the right moment to break the tension.

Ravel, however, wasn't as patient. After several minutes of quiet footsteps echoing through the corridor, she finally broke the silence. Her tone was formal, almost defensive, as she said, "Ahem… I'm only going with you because Zeoticus-sama supported the idea. Otherwise, I would have never agreed to talk to you alone, even if you are my future husband."

Izashi glanced at her, his expression shifting into a playful pout. "Aww… and here I thought Ravel-chan liked me too, just like I like her."

Ravel's ears perked up at his words, her eyes widening in surprise. She tried to keep her composure, but the slight blush on her cheeks betrayed her emotions. "Y-You like me!?" she stammered, clearly flustered by the admission.

Izashi nodded, his voice gentle but sincere. "Yup, I like you. But seeing as you don't like me, it makes me a little sad."

Ravel panicked internally, her mind racing to find the right words. The last thing she wanted was to hurt his feelings, especially after hearing such an unexpected confession. She glanced at him, trying to gauge his reaction as she stuttered out, "W-Well… I don't deny that I… that I didn't want to talk to you…"

Her words were so contradictory and clumsy that Izashi almost burst out laughing. He managed to hold back, though, his eyes sparkling with amusement as he watched her struggle to maintain her tough exterior. 'She's adorable,' he thought, 'trying so hard to act all tough when she's really a softy inside.'

When they finally reached Izashi's room, he opened the door for her, gesturing for her to enter first. "Come on in, Ravel-chan. Take a seat."

Ravel walked into the room, her eyes darting around as she tried to calm her racing heart. Izashi's room was spacious and well-decorated, reflecting both his taste and the prestige of the Gremory family. She took a seat on a plush armchair, still wondering about the topic he wanted to discuss so privately.

Izashi didn't keep her in suspense for long. He leaned against the desk, crossing his arms as he looked at her. "You're probably curious about why I wanted to talk to you in private, right?"

Ravel nodded, her curiosity getting the better of her. "Yes… I've been wondering about that since we left the hall."

Izashi smiled, his gaze softening. "The thing is, Ravel-chan, my Bishop piece… it's not an ordinary one. It's mutated."

Ravel's eyes widened at his revelation. "A mutated piece…?"

Izashi nodded, watching her reaction carefully. "Yeah, it's much stronger than a normal Bishop piece. When I revive you with it, your power will be boosted significantly. But I need you to keep this a secret, alright? I don't want others to know about the extent of the boost."

Ravel felt a mix of excitement and responsibility settle in her chest. She understood the weight of his words and the importance of keeping such a secret. With a determined nod, she agreed. "Of course. I'll keep it a secret."

Satisfied with her response, Izashi stepped forward, kneeling in front of her. He held the Bishop piece in his hand, and as he placed it gently against her chest, he began the ritual. "I, Izashi Gremory, revive you as my Bishop. Serve me for the rest of our lives together."

The moment the piece entered her body, Ravel felt an overwhelming surge of power. It was like nothing she had ever experienced before—her magic reserves expanded exponentially, and her physical strength increased to a level she hadn't thought possible. The power coursing through her veins was intense, but it wasn't just her who was feeling the effects.

Izashi, too, felt something stirring within him. As the Bishop piece merged with Ravel, he sensed a strange energy entering his consciousness. It felt similar to the Phoenix Fire that Riser had used, but this energy was far stronger. His eyes closed as he focused inward, entering his consciousness to investigate.

Inside, he found two large spheres of power from which he could draw his strength. One was his Power of Destruction, and the other was the Golden Energy of the Dragon God of Chaos. But now, a third energy was merging with the sphere of Power of Destruction—a dense, vermillion energy that seemed to radiate with the ancient power of the Phoenix.

'This must be because of Ravel,' he realized. 'It's her Ancient Phoenix Bloodline, fusing with my Power of Destruction…'

The realization brought a sudden, sharp pain to his back, as if his wings were being consumed by fire. Meanwhile, Ravel was experiencing her own transformation. She could feel her Phoenix Bloodline becoming stronger, her flames evolving and growing more powerful. The sensation was agonizing, the heat burning through her cells despite her natural resistance to fire.

Fortunately, the intense pain subsided after about twenty minutes, leaving both of them conscious and more powerful than before. Ravel was the first to speak, her voice tinged with concern. "What… what was in that piece? Why did I feel such an agonizing sensation? My cells felt like they were burning, but I have the bloodline of a Phoenix… I shouldn't feel such heat."

Izashi groaned as he sat up, rubbing his back where the pain had been the most intense. "How would I know? I felt like my wings were on fire…"

They both fell silent, each lost in thought as they tried to comprehend what had just happened. After a few moments, Izashi's eyes lit up with a new idea. He turned to Ravel, his expression serious. "Ravel, use your fire on me."

Ravel's eyes widened in shock, and she shook her head vehemently. "Use my fire on you? But… but it could really damage your body if you don't put up a defensive aura first!"

Izashi chuckled, his confidence unshaken. "Don't worry about that. Ask your brother—he hit me with so much Phoenix Fire, and it didn't do anything to me."

Ravel hesitated, her instincts telling her that this was a bad idea. But she could see the determination in Izashi's eyes, and she knew he wouldn't take no for an answer. With a resigned sigh, she raised her hand, summoning her flames. "Alright… but don't blame me if you get hurt."

As the flames erupted from her hand, Ravel immediately noticed something different. The usual yellow-colored Phoenix Flames were now a vibrant vermillion, swirling with an intensity she had never seen before. The flames rushed toward Izashi, enveloping his body in a blazing inferno.

To her astonishment, Izashi didn't put up any kind of defense. He simply stood there, letting the flames wash over him without flinching. When the fire finally died down, Ravel gasped in disbelief. Izashi was completely unharmed, not a single burn or scorch mark on his skin.

"But how…?" Ravel muttered, her mind racing to make sense of what she had just witnessed.

Izashi didn't offer an explanation, but his thoughts were racing as well. 'I was right… I've attained invulnerability to fire, as long as it's not stronger than the Ancient Phoenix's Flames. And if I'm correct… my wings should have transformed as well…'

He was eager to test his theory, but the room was too small to fully spread his wings. Instead, he turned his attention back to Ravel, his expression serious. "Let's just say you're not the only one who received some benefits. But remember—keep this a secret from everyone else, okay?"

Ravel nodded, her expression equally serious. She had no intention of revealing what had happened to anyone, especially since it involved something as personal as her Phoenix Bloodline. "I understand. I'll keep it to myself."

Izashi smiled, relieved that she understood the gravity of the situation. "Good. Now, let's head back to the main hall."

They left the room together, the atmosphere between them much lighter than before. As they re-entered the main hall, Izashi wasn't surprised to see that Riser and the rest of his peerage had already left. Only Yubelluna remained, her expression unreadable as she stood alone in the center of the room.

Venelana and Zeoticus Gremory, along with Sirzechs, had also left, leaving only Grayfia, Yubelluna, and Ravel in the hall. Izashi caught Grayfia's eye and gave her a subtle signal to leave. She nodded in understanding, quietly excusing herself from the room.

Now, only Izashi and Yubelluna were left standing in the hall. Yubelluna kept her head down, her hands clasped in front of her as she waited for Izashi to speak. He approached her, his hands gently cupping her face as he tilted her head up to meet his gaze. His grip was firm, but not harsh, as he looked into her eyes with a predatory hunger.

"Let's skip the unnecessary talking," he said, his voice low and commanding. "Follow me. Your main task tonight is in the bed."

Yubelluna felt a shiver run down her spine at his words, her heart pounding in her chest. The way he was looking at her, with such raw desire, made her feel both excited and nervous. She followed him obediently, her mind racing with anticipation.

As they entered Izashi's room, Yubelluna gave a small, curt bow, her voice soft as she asked, "How can I serve you, Master?"

A predatory grin spread across Izashi's face as he closed the door behind them. His eyes roamed over her body, drinking in every detail with a look of pure lust. "You'll find out soon enough, my dear…"

He began to undress, his movements slow and deliberate, as if savoring the moment. Yubelluna watched him, her breath hitching as she felt the heat in the room rise. Izashi's gaze was intense, never leaving her as he removed his clothes piece by piece.

"It's getting quite hot in here, don't you think?" Izashi remarked, his tone playful yet commanding. "You should remove those clothes before they get burned by the heat."

Yubelluna gulped, her throat suddenly dry as she nodded in agreement. She reached for the hem of her dress, her fingers trembling slightly as she began to undress. The atmosphere between them was charged with anticipation, each movement deliberate and slow as they prepared for what was to come.
