Chapter 40: A Pleasant Surprise, Dragon Gene!

“Dragon gene!” Su Bai wasn’t surprised by the results of the Demon Insect Lance.

In pain, the Venom Wyvern swiped at Su Bai, sending him flying.

It felt like being hit by a locomotive. Su Bai’s body embedded into the cave wall, causing rubble to scatter.

Casually stepping down from the wall, Su Bai glanced at the three new scratches on his body and chuckled lightly, “Get angry! As long as you don’t leave this cave, I’ll fight you to the end!”

The wyvern’s response was a mouthful of venomous breath.

Even regular wyverns have venom breath, but as a lord-level BOSS, this wyvern’s breath had upgraded to deadly poison breath.

If it were any other monster, this breath alone could take most of their life.

But for Su Bai, with his advanced poison resistance, the poison breath did less damage than the previous claw attack!

The green venom dripped onto the ground, corroding the rock and creating small pits. Su Bai’s figure transformed into a dark streak, appearing above the Venom Wyvern.

Raising the Demon Insect Lance high, he thrust it down fiercely!
